Ok, days of peace are finally over
Today after doing a simple reset of my kaiser (power off then back on)
I have noticed an endless loop in boot and that is the line,
set volume of 256 to 5
init: untracked pid 123 exited

The pid number increaments by 3 after every loop and the loop starts with

Whats suddenly worng?
I really dont want to lose my contacts, rest of the apps/tweaks I dont care

If u synced your phone with a google account there is no problem for contacts because they will pop up again if you reinstall android and you sync that account again.
Anyway, you can restore system as much as u want because when android start it is read only, so this means that no changes are done to it , simply reinstall android and say "no" when menu ask you to clear data.
I tried like this:
1st Try with Clear Dalvik Cache
2nd Try: Only system reinstall and no DATA wipeout
3rd Try: Reinstall like a hard reset
I change my fonts pretty often and what I think is a ttf was encoded wrong and I replaced that :/
pssshttt! I just rebooted my phone a second time (Power off then back on) and again this stupid error popped error popped up :/
One thing is for sure that its related to the font I am using :s
Endless loop
I have had this endless loop twice and both times I had to reinstall via the installer. I don't know if there is a fix so that you don't need to reinstall. It would be really nice if someone with a little insight could maybe find out what is going on.
I haven't been able to understand exactly what I did to make it loop like this.
I just make sure never to reboot and if so I just hope no looping accours.
There is something with the 3rd Party fonts I used, only one of them caused this, rest all of em were fine. I had to reboot my phone dozen times in order to see stability or corruption before releasing mine build
I think its related to some system related, and happens only when I install that specific cursed font lol
I will continue this topic. I'm using newest froyo on kaiser, newest kernel, and I also have an untracked pid allways, when I'm using my kaiser for longer time, or install something and reboot it. I have no idea what to do with that, and I don't want to go back to WM. Please, help

I have this problem too,but i didnt use custom fonts only installed opera and tried to move it to sd and installed igo which uses the sd to store files.And then it froze and gave me this piece o .... loop Is there a fix for this?
Reinstall, usually the error is caused by fs corruption.
Tried it but the problem still comes back when i try to install something or try to move something to the sd card.
I have figured out what causes this error and so far it occurs only in froyo ports. The init.rc gets corrupted. The bootup process goes into infinite loop in overwriting the init.rc
Best remedy is to CLEAR DALVIK CACHE and REBOOT. (You often lose your contacts and text msgs and google login details so keep a backup)
Its so much nuisance having this init.rc crashing atleast twice in a day and I am pretty much frustrated with WM either way. I am thinking for replacing my phone for a native android
I had this happen to me 3 times today, recovered all 3 times.
Running Liqid's kernel .32 using ATools and a deodexed version of "system froyo".
Fairly "stock" settings in ATools and only added 4 apps to original build.
I also got "low on space" notifications with each of these crashes. Checked memory after recovery and it was back to normal.
I really need to figure out how to make a sig...lol.

Samsung Wave 2 Blue Screen

I know this may not be the correct area, but I'm now getting desperate.

I am a seasoned Android user and have had many phones that run Android.
A friend of mine has given me this Samsung Wave 2 which runs Bata. She says it stopped working the other day after she blue toothed a song to the phone.
I have had a look at it.
You start the phone up and it instantly goes to a blue screen. The screen states the phone version and all that, but nothing about the version of OS it is running.
Here is what it states:
S/W Version: S8530+XE+JK6
Modem: Q6270B-KPRBL-1.5.45T
SHP: VPP R5 2.1.1
Build Host: SE-W019
BuildAt:2010/11/19 17:45:43
App Debug Level : 0
Then it goes on to state a buffer max failed and trying to read (5607343) size more than max buf permitted then it states the file and where it is located and there are 14 pages of this random stuff.
When I press the menu button the phone goes to the UPLOAD data to PC mode.
I've tried connecting it to my laptop, but the PC doesn't recognize it.
I've tried connecting it to Kies, and still nothing.
I've tried holding down the volume + and camera and power buttons, it then enters download mode. Other blogs say to connect the phone to Kies at this stage, but that doesn't work either.
There must be a hard reset that doesn't involve numbers * and # to be keyed in, something that uses the hardware buttons.
Anyone able to help or is the phone bricked?
P.S. I have not tried to flash the phone with software updates, I'm merely trying to get the phone to work.

I had upgraded my Wave 2 from bada 1.2 to bada 2.0.
after completion now following are the problems i am facing.
1. Not connecting to PC via keis, USB mass storage - only i can charge my phone.
2. sometimes a blue screen appears and i have to remove battery to restart
3. sometime my wave 2 goes in upload mode or download mode.
4. i want to downgrade it to bada 1.2, but cannot do so, because of connection issues

I'm in a bit of a pickle with my SWR50 that I got not long ago but as of now haven't been able to use.
As far as I've established it's got a pre-release software version on it, and not sure if that itself is the problem but I can't pair it successfully to anything and can't use it.
Tried to read up as much as I could on how I could sort this, but there's way too much info out there, too many methods because people mainly were in it to get more out of their gear, roms etc, and as I haven't had much previous experience with rom updates (unless there was some step by step, easy to follow stuff) I'm stuck.
The problem:
Pairing with phone –> phone finds watch, pairing starts
*just a minte* goes on for ~3 minutes than says: “can’t connect to the internet, swipe for options" (make sure phone has net, go to help website, retry, abort)
Then it just says Tetra BF1E – install android wear on your phone (on long press of power button I can access limited menu)
About phone:

Software Version: 4.4W
Build Number: Tetra-userdebug 4.4W KGW29E 1031 test-keys
If I try to update via Xperia Companion I eventually get a:
Startup error
"An error occurred while preparing to update your device. Device is unchanged. Try later or contact sony support"

Also tried factory restore from within the watch (both from menu and startup malarkey), but it didn't change anything regarding connectivity success.
Sorry for the lots of info, as a problem solver myself I like to get a good view into what's wrong & what's been tried.
All I want is to somehow upgrade to an OS that works - I don't have preferences other than I don't need anything flashy (5.1 would do), just something that offers decent battery life - I'd only use the watch to get notifications of messages, calls etc.
Any advice of what steps I should take so I can read up on them, would be appreciated!
Flash this via TWRP and after that try to restore watch from Xperia Companion
After installing lineageos16.0 with different opengapps.zip it is always the same: a window opens and informs: download-manager ist terminated. This happens every 5 seconds until I deactivate the app. Problem is, that now I can´t download anything.
any ideas?
