Working great on the captivate
the keyboard is working great on the Samsung Captivate. No issues thus far.

The one ported to Nexus one does not install for me.
Can you please tell me where you got it from?

I got it from the page linked - have you allowed non market apps to be allowed on your phone?
(Settings -> Programs -> Allow Unknown Sources)

Yes I have this checkbox marked.. also I have Root access on my SGS.
Strange... whould realy like to try the droid x keyboard..

The stock samsung keyboard is also multitouch, you can also do the shift+letter for capital trick

I like the stock Samsung keyboard the keys are smaller so i find i make less mistakes.

Just got that installed on my SGS and it works great. Typing is a lot faster than the Samsung multi touch keyboard. However the prediction and suggestion when tping is not as good as the other input method, is there any way to improve this? Thanks.

It does, but the dictionary has some weird entries so some words don't correct properly. For the most part it is fine though!

Hey...where did you download yours from...cause I installed it on my samsung vibrant and the keyboard works fine but the size of he letters on the keyboard are super small...did you have that happening to you?

I'm very much reliant on Swype now. It even remembers words that aren't English (I use Tagalog a lot). How much does this stack up to Swype? Or am I comparing Apples and Oranges here... or Bananas and Oranges? LOL

And I thank you very much. The Translator woks extremely well on SGS2.
(does not work on the only android device I have left, Archos 70 craptablet).
I can now speak so many languages - a day ago I did not even know some of them existed.

What are the available languages?
Are there any Slavic languages? (don't have a way to install it and test it myself atm)

Few of the languagues aren't working, just get network error with them. Be great if you could get them all working...!!!

It runs off Google's translation service. So if it is not implemented server side, it won't translate into that language.

LG P500 keypad Port

mount /system before flashing the zip

Already mounting /system, install and nothing happened, Fla.sh X2 (deodexed KPN)

I can't NOT use smart keyboard.
It's customizable, it's responsive, it's themeable. Unfortunately it costs $$$, and I'm not allowed to have a personal credit card yet.
The trial is fine, though. Those obtrusive toasts aren't too severe, and I can live with it.

I would suggest installing CM7 along with Swype.

Simplest is Morelocale2 from market

Both. In swype U can change language with a single Swype. I can not imagine using any other keyboard now.

Its based on MIUI, what is based on CM.

Its based on MIUI but need to port base on CM haha...i just learned it today. Use CM as a base, copy and paste, change build.prop.

To be clear it's not based on MIUI..... it's based on CM7..... although their idea is the same as MIUI..... to change the framework...roms like these are pretty common in China

I thought it's absolutely different rom than CM7 or Sense

Changing Language to English
1.Press the left soft key.
2.Go to settings (general gear sign).
3.Scroll the screen twice towards left, i.e drag thumb <— direction, twice. You will see [A] icon as the second item.
4.Select it and change language.

This looks great and small. I have some questions before I decide to flash it.

Is manual rotation not working or only autorotation?
I use Rotation locker, almost never auto, but no rotation is no good for me.
Also, how is the battery life?
Does it support ext4?

I got slightly lower values than Unofficial Cyanogenmod 7.2.0 from Alquez (after battery calibration and few charge/discharge cycles). With CM 7 it's about 2 days without charging (talks, Wi Fi almost all the time on, exchange job mails through push notification, about 2hrs of music through day, no games at all) and with this one i got a day and a half aprox, under same conditions. I believe that with few tweaks (display mainly) one can get it near to the CM 7 values.

Can't help you with rotation much, when i was using LewaOS turned it off due to needs of one app i had.

I love the UI on this rom, but unfortunately it just doesn't want to play nice with my phone. Upon every boot I get some message telling me that I'm "trying to send from international country", even though I'm not sending anything. Half the time the settings don't remember that I've changed them....like, I'll switch wifi on....but it won't turn on, when I go back to the setting it's switched itself off again....same with many settings, display settings etc. etc.
GPS works, but only once I apply update CM7 style (use attched zip - note that gps.conf is edited from the oiginal one in the update 1.2 zip.....just easier to flash this than mess about with root explorers overwriting gps.conf, which sometimes works sometimes doesn't etc etc).
overal beautiful looking rom, but just not fit for daily use (or any use to be blunt)
