New rom found on Rapidshare

I just found this. Its bigger than the April refresh. The IE icon whats only available looks different then the previous version.

Should I be able to run this in the emulator as is or does it need to be unlocked first? Im getting "Error: The emulation layer does not support the functionality that is being accessed.".

What phone sdk are you installed? The April one?

Yeah im running the April CTP. Tried installing the packages you linked and the emulator refuses to run. Even with the default rom. There's no error message or anything.
Anybody else get it working?

I had a lot of issues with both RGUCOMP and HVEDIT and i cant unlock the image. The tools always throwing errors. I dont have more time to play with them.
Will someone who unlocked a wp7 rom before help us out and unlock this. Please.

Interesting. The version number seems to imply an older build than what had been publicly released. I'll see what I can do to get it unlocked.

I really dont know why is it running on me. Its tru that lately i installed everithing WP7 related over my machine i could find without proper understanding.
Maybe if you tell me what files (and where can i find them) do you need to run this thing i could upload it for you.
But till if you can try to unlock it please do and i will check. Thanks.

Yea, what's odd is that when you go to add a mail account there's no options listed to add. Not sure why.

Something is funky with this one. It seems like they slipped a new build of XDE in last month the same day this emulator image is dated (June 24th). The new XDE won't run the old emulator builds and the old one won't run this newer build. Also, it won't run any deployed apps. It just throws an error when they try to load. Nonetheless, I'll try and get it posted when I get home from work later this evening. I'll just ignore all of the posts of "it doesn't work".

Maybe this is a mistake build or something. Im having trouble running the most basic programs on it too.
Im already uploading the unlocked rom but my upspeed is really slow(20k) so it will take a while to finish.

just a little unsure on the coding for it.

But it seems there is a limit to upload own apps as zip package!
With 4 apps now problem,but If I try to upload 5 apps as zip package
I got "Error 1" and can`t download the cooked ROM.
P.S.Can`t test the ROM now,I have to go to work

Okay, this is up now for you brave people to test!

I've given it over a week of testing between v10 and v11 and haven't found a single glitch myself.
So, here you go!
The ported recovery has a kernel compatible with either novatek or hitachi screens, if you're wondering

all you really need to know to make it work is in the original thread. Just use these Optimus V files instead of the ones in Tasssadar's post.
I'll edit this and the second post later with more specific instructions.
FYI: This is not a ROM. This is a recovery, and flashable overlay for your boot.img which allow booting from roms on sd-ext or from internal memory.
Please read the original thread before using.

Standard disclaimer: Flashing your phone may cause bricking.
Don't blame me, or Tasssadar... Just take proper precautions. As the original thread says, BACKUP! Also, never flash a ROM and recovery at the same time, make sure the first works before you flash the second.

extra info:
you can't mix froyo and gingerbread ROMS unless you flash a Xionia or Xionia Redux anykernel over your boot.img first.
The multiROM uses the boot.img kernel for all the installed ROMs, and most kernels are made for either froyo or gingerbread but not both. Xionia kernels are the only exception to that rule I'm aware of.
I'll link to the xionia kernels later, for now it's just a short warning.

unfortunately I'm even wordier than Tasssadar, so when i eventually get time to rewrite the directions and add them to post 2, they probably won't be much more user-friendly.
and it may be a couple days until screenshots and directions show up.
mostly i just wanted the thing up for others to play around with.

True having it up is most important I'll try it sometime today and possibly try making a noob friendly guide if I have some time.

i put this up for grabs more as a public service than a work-in-progress.
just run the roms like you usually would, and post anything that doesn't work right (unless, of course that item is broken in the rom itself)

Oh, I forgot something: If first line in Updater in Mgr app is not "Model: LS670/VM670", do not even try it! It means it did not recognize that it runs on different phone.

D710BST i think Im ready to flash a ROM

So here's the deal. I rooted my D710BST (ICS 4.0.4, fl24) with framaroot. I had no custom recovery so i used mobile odin (i don't have a pc) to flash garwynn's custom kernel ( http://www.sxtpdevelopers.com/showthread.php?t=119 ) so i can run agat's cr. Well now i have random power downs and gps failure. I have not been able to play ingress in over a week and its driving me nuts!!!
I just wanted to run this by more knowledgeable individuals. In theroy (until confirmed), since the kernel is a safe kernel, i can jump straight outta ICS. I am wanting to load ProjectX ROM ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2320041 ). It requires a clean flash. [q] Since mobile odin can flash from internal SD and i lack computer, can i not move all my pics, vids, personal files (etc...) to my external SD, remove it, then flash clean?
noob alert: everything i have ever done in the root world is in this post

More stock stuff? Sheeesh, why am i rooting? This beautiful sounding ROM was developed by your team! Why the discouragement? And, as i said before, i do not have a computer. How come no one will just answer the question? I am a strong person and can take criticism, if that is what i needed. Is your projectX ROM not safe/ideal?!?!? If you read the first post in the thread you would see the instructions on how to install... and the first step is upgrading to the official upgrade because this creates the Preload partition, it is a necessary step. Not discouraging you from using Project X at all, I am about to release an update soon. I just want you to be aware of the proper procedure so things don't go wrong. The first post in the Project X thread has all the steps you need along with links to all the files you need.

Yeah, i read about the partition change from ICS. So, using your link to upgrade and fix partitions would make for a smooth projectX installation? Does that mean i don't have to clean flash, since Im not coming from ICS?

Thank you for all your help. This, in particular, helped me out the most. Without knowing what to expect, I got a bit worried when there was no boot after el29 kernel flash. Limited computer access kinda snailed the process. Once i was up, i had to do the "clear data" on play store and its framework, in order to download anything. I lost your custom store but, I'm running! I am really enjoying all the green! I love the Pandora lock screen and the starry boot animation and the....... I'm sure I'll find tons more, in due time!

At first I flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix2_V10.4.2.0.PDECNXM_v10-9.zip and then M.A.R.S.XUAV.19.08.28
Everything looked good, no errors. Then reboot. I can enter SIM PIN but after that, Screen goes on and off. Android Setups pop´s up, 1 step forward and 1 back (and I'm still doing nothing), Screen goes on and off and so on....
ps.: tried it with and without SIM Card... Same behavior.

So i have updated the ReadME and Infos about that. MIUI is a really strange Android Fork and i haven't had the Features working that i think are essential for Me and the Project. That's why i drifted the foucs back to AOSP for now again. I wish i had a Teammate who would make a MIUI Version that lacks of the XUA (Xiaomi Universal AOSP) full feature set, that would mean just to much work for Me right now since i'm already working up to 8Hrs per day on the main Patch... So You flashed XUA which is meant for AOSP. I would recommend You to try Lineage OS or Havoc Official. They run both with the full feature set and without bigger Problems right now (Check GitHub Issues for Bugs).

First Users on Discord reported it works on Mi 9 and Mix 2 (Various ROMs). We just had a issue with CPU Loads which will be fixed in V.19.08.29. Everything is super fluid and performing well. Audio is awesome compared to stock or normal AOSP... Really proud of it right now.
I will also move from GitHub to Google Drive and My Homepage since GitHub is problematic in many Views. More Threads for other Devices are coming and i hope the Community will grow fast.

Yeah right. That's the easiest thing to do because you can't explain how MARS really helps. You throw around too much jargon on what you have done and how it'ssupposed to work. But you have a hard time explaining why we need a software that takes more memory than our ROM to make it fast. Counter-intuitive. What does it actually do?

Maybe take a look at the script and the zip content? It is always easier to blatantly accuse people. It is clear that you are a troll. If it didnt work for you, then you made a mistake as it works for me and other people.
And he explained it already in github page. So stop being a malware.
