Hey,
I just installed Opera Mobile on my SGS and after a reboot I noticed that I wasn't able to pull down the top taskbar anymore! Only deinstalling opera mobile and a reboot fixed the problem!
Anybody else having this problem?

I can't help but to laugh.
You set up fullscreen mode. To enable notification bar you just press menu button then pull down. There's a setting in opera to change full screen and other settings

either you're in full-screen or you're experiencing a well known bug in android. restarting the phone is the only way out. in any case it's not operas fault
No you guys got me wrong!
I don't mean fullscreen mode, that would be really stupid! ;-) I mean I can't pull down the top bar when opera is NOT RUNNING!

im using cyanogen mod 6.1 and sometimes my ADW dock just completely disappears until i reboot.
wtf?
The dock will hide itself if you swipe down. You can disable this feature in settings/ADW launcher/ui settings/dockbar

Did you check your setting in CM 6.1 there's a setting for swipe up brings up the dock bar , swipe up again and it hides it. Also swipe down brings up the app drawer. But only if you check the boxes in the setting.

So anytime I open my browser it automatically darkens. I hit the home button and it brightens back right before it goes to the home screen. How the f do I change this? Is really getting on my nerves.
Stock Rom by the way.

Same.
I have the same problem. But I can't find the browser's brightness settings.
I had it before the software update, but it is gone after the update. Don't know what's up with that.

After the latest OTA update the browser uses the same brightness as the rest of the system. You can control it from the status bar.
I have the latest update but don't see how to change the browser brightness setting without it changing the system brightness. Is there way to fix this? Thanks
I am using a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 with Wicked v5.1 Rom, and I have consistently experienced an issue with the updated YouTube app. Every time I watch a video in landscape mode and then turn it into portrait mode, a black bar appears between the status bar and the YouTube search bar. The bar doesn't go away even in landscape mode. The only way to make it go away is to exit the app, but the black bar always comes back. It really is quite annoying. I know that others have the same issue as I do because of what I have read on the Internet. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really hope that Google fixes this.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks!
I love the new UI.
But is it the latest version?

As of yesterday when it was released.
I've noticed similar problem with this version as well. You can see it on top of the title/menu bar.

I should mention that I've tried other roms like GE and they don't have that problem. I think it's TW related.
Here is the before and after the portrait/landscape/portrait turns.

Both old and new versions have the same fck bug. Its ridiculous. A version before those 2 was fine....
I am on infamous roms and when in landscape mode I can't even view the seek/status bar! I have to go to portrait making it smaller then tap the vid box again to see how far through a vid I am or seek back and forth... I read one other review on Google apps play market so I know it's not just my rom, but there must be something up with the gs3 not letting me view this bar all the time.
Having a bit of trouble with YouTube 5 it opens but the searchbar and menu buttons are missing and the only way to search videos is with the kindle's softkey search button anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it. I really don't want to have to revert to an older version. Thanks for any help.

Ok I found a way to get it back. If I open the app the click one of the suggestions and change the playback quality then press the back button the searchbar shows up but I have to do this every time I open the app. Does anyone else have this bug?

I am getting this new icon on notification bar. But it shows nothing when bar is scrolled down. Does anyone know, which icon is this? Why it is shown and how to remove that?

Click to collapse
I believe that is the number of windows you have open in your browser not a notification..
It's an interruptions icon. Look in settings, then interruptions...it means your phone is set to "allow only priority interruptions"
