Not sure how hard this would be to do - but would it be possible to port the Droid X keyboard to Froyo?

Damn, I guess even if I check the forum everyday I should still search. Thanks.

I read that the Nice Keyboard from Droid has been ported to Nexus.... Eager to try it on my desire..
After installing the apk the keyboard works nicely and is a fresh of air against stock sense UI.
The biggest thing not working is the Gogle voice feature... How can i put it to work on the original rom??
Thanks
Ok, so ive been wondering, and yes ive searched, but if its possibly to get android on WinMo, then why cant we go android to android, like droid x to evo 4g?
Different hardware to configure etc and why would you want fail-blur?
It is possible, you just need a dev to cook a ROM with the Droid X stuff in it. What exactly do you want from the Droid X?
EDIT: Oh, you want Blur instead of Sense?

First off I wasnt sure if this should be in the Q&A since its a question, or in the thme section since its about a theme. Ive been looking for a HTC keyboard thats is greyish/blackish themes with the Sammy light blue color keys. Basically a themes Epic 4G Galaxy keyboard. I havent really found one, or a themed version of that keyboard. Even like a black and blue themed keyboard. All I keep finding are the Droid X multitouch keyboards, not what im looking for, I like the HTC keyboard. Can anyone please give me a link to a keyboard like such, or at least point me the right direction please. Thank you in advance.
the keyboard ur looking for

I would really like to have this too..not sure how to download and rip something..but with direction I am sure I could do so?
I'm not sure what he means by 'rip it', but the download in the MIUI thread is a flashable zip. So you should be able to download it, put it on your SD, and flash it from recovery.
Smart keyboard pro has a galaxy theme...its a sweet keyboard too.

Hey guys. Is there a way to get the stock keyboard on CM6? I found threads on the Hero forums and tried them out, but low and behold the keyboard appeared too small ones screen. Any help would be appreciated.
Before you flame I'll have you know that I looked everywhere for this but can only find this for HERO, not evo. Please help a guy out.
You can find it in the Myn Warm thread. There's an "optional" download for the 'original HTC IME keyboard'
But wouldn't that only work on Sense roms since Myn's rom is based on Sense? I will try it nonetheless. Thanks for your response
This the one with the arrow keys? Going to try this.. missing those as my Evo has no trackball like my good ol' Nexus One did.

I seen the HTC Sensation supports bluetooth HID. Think the Dinc will be getting HID with the coming update?

no not possible since the htc sensation runs gingerbread with sense 3.0 over it which is what has the integrated BT HID which is not what the incredible will probably get with its gingerbread sense 2.1 or original sense.
I see. I assume evo 3d is also sense 3. That's a real let down. Think we will see the feature ported in the future. I've never really figured out the problem. I've read its dependent on the kernal but the framework must also be altered. But it doesn't seem like it'd he that hard to incorporate a few drivers
For a seasoned developer I mean
