I want to symlink my .android_secure folder on my SD Card to the one on the emmc. Does anyone know how to do this? And the reason for this is because skyraider is storing my apps on the emmc rather than the SD Card when I hit move to SD Card, and nandroid isn't backing them up properly.

My applications are installing to the emmc rather than the SD Card. Is there any way to make nandroid backup the emmc for .android_secure rather than the folder in the SD Card, and if not, is there any way to make the applications install to the SD Card rather than the emmc so that the nandroid will back them up correctly? Thanks!
I'm just wondering what path apps2sd puts files in.
I found online it puts them on mount point /system/sd/ but where on the SD do they actually go?
Are you talking about using the OS to move them to the sdcard (on the partition where everything else is)? Or are you talking about moving them to the 2nd partition (ext2/ext3/ext4 formatting)? Because those are the only places they'd get put. If it's the first one I mentioned, they go to the .android_secure folder
I haven't partitioned my SD card. But using the adds2sd it moves a large portion of the data to the SD card to save space. But I could never figure out where.
So .android_secure. Got it.
right now, I can't get my apps to install or move onto the External SD card of my S3 running CM10 or AOKP.
the only thing I have been able to do is run a mount script for my Rdio App so it thinks its putting all my data on the internal SD card and not the Ext SD card.
any idea, init.d script to somehting, can i partition my SD card differently?
Ok, I'm not sure if this is a problem, or just an annoyance, but when I want to move any app (movable or not) with Titanium, there's no option for that..
I can back up apps on my external sd card, so I know that the card is writable, I just can't move them. I can with Link2SD, though, but I only want to use Titanium..
Also, my mnt folder has no external sd card, only internal. Is that ok?
I'm using Android Revolution HD. I have searched everywhere, but I have not find an issue like that...
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
So nobody knows?
Just to update, permissions are fine, sd card is fully writable, but the card is not mounted in mnt folder, only in mnt/media_rw/ext_sd, but Titanium says that that folder isn't writable.
Please, if anyone has any idea, it would really be appreciated. :good:
Thanks!
Exactly as it says. I have root but it does not seem to let me right to the external sd folder.
I actually get the warning that there is insufficient space. But there is more then enough space on the MicroSD card.
