Anyone try out Deepfish, Microsofts new web browser for PDAs?

Its amazing that after so many years of developing mobile device software it took Apple to give MS a wake up in the Web Browser department.

But its a Beta-Preview-Version. IT'S ONLY IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE!!! WE JUST WANT TO HELP MICROSOFT.

Downloading and playing with it.
Holy crap this thing is fast....google.ca came instantly. It seems like MSN is caching some of the data through a server or compressing but something.
It is very beta. It shows the entire page in one shot. I am just checking Howard Forums and going down on the page is like navigating through Gmaps for PPC.
I am still trying to figure out how to zoom....
Not bad but still in its infancy. Whoa, wait this thing zooms in like crazy! Amazing. Not bad for pre-beta.
It is a bit like the S60 3rd browser!

So is any one gonna post the activation code ?

this thing is same as pixesl browser or was it picso browser? the one ripped of from a samsung device?

I've tested it over Wifi... it's a great thing I love it!

And what are leaked OS? I don't came here for any serials oder cracked software. But i came here for Aku3, WM6 and so on and in my interpretation of the word "warez" OS are very close to this...

I have been trying to get an activation code sent to me all morning..
I can understand why is it so difficult for people who already have a code for this pre-Beta application to post it out so more people can try it...

But i also have problems with zooming, any1 knows howto?

I installed it with someone's activation code, but got the error message after the deepfish validating something:
Internal: Unable to get timely response from the server. This is generally caused by poor reception with your data provider. Please try again.
I also tried the Diagnosis function, it said HTTP request failed (12038)
I tried both Wi-Fi and 3.5G , the results are the same
Anyone can help?

It can be used for such mundane comments like that. It can also be used for things like
- the U.S. citizen that quickly twittered via his phone that he was being arrested by Egyptian police. http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/04/16/twitter-saves-man-from-egyptian-justice/

- Helped a guy quickly get a number to a locksmith in Hawaii, although I live in NC.
Just google on "top twitter uses", something like that. You'll see alot of news and blog links of various ways that people use it.
Also, when I update my Twitter, it automatically goes out and updates my Facebook, YMsgr Status, Skype Status, and MSN Msgr status all at once.

The only negative thing of late though is that it's so overwhelmingly popular that it has trouble keeping up with the amount of users. They just received another $15 Million in VC, so hopefully they'll use it to fix their scaling issues.
Of course convincing people that twitter is useful is like trying to convince my wife who only uses her mobile phone for making phone calls that my HTC S621 with it's Internet plus all it's other apps, bells and whistles is useful. She can't understand why I need to have access to the Internet 24x7 right by my side.

how do you scroll up or down on quakk because i couldnt scroll for ****.

check out pocketwit...it's free..its easy and simple...u just have to have a twitter account before you can use it as you can't create a twitter account through this....must def check this out!

Help - Android IRC on my Dinc.

I'm a n00b to IRC, but I'm looking to start using it. I just downloaded & installed the Android IRC app, so I was wondering if someone could help me out.
How do I connect to a channel so I can begin chatting?

room to start in is ##droidincredible its on freenode.net server, i use andchat so i wouldn't know anything about the app you are using but it was pretty simple from there once you get in there you can ask general irc command questions

Thanks for your help. I made it into ##Droidincredible, but no one is talking. All I am seeing is people joining, leaving and changing their nicks. I said hello but no one is answering. Am I missing something? Or do people just not talk much?

If you see join/quits/etc you are probably setup just fine, but no one is around.

Its possible its muted. Might try ##incredibleroot

I got into ##incredibleroot, ##incredibleroms, and ##droidincredible. I also figured out that /join is a command to join a channel. Can anyone recommend some more good rooms or some more common commands?

common commands are probably
/msg nick blah
/join #chan
/part #chan
/hop
/server irc.blah.com port
/list will list any non +s (i believe, might be +p) channels on whatever server you're on

Iphone music apk

The previous thread was closed by the moderator. I contacted him but he didn't answer. Though this isn't my work, i uploaded it to google docs. I hope it is reachable to everyone. If it isn't please suggest an other way. Download the attachments zip if you can see it. I repeat this has nothing to do with btunes, it has coverflow and it works pretty well though it can be more stable. Hope someone can improve it...

And now its just confusing. You wanted emails, to then give to the developer so he could then email people the apk, but now you're posting the apk?

Well that is the part which was misunderstood. I told people to post their emails on youtube, not here. This is the way i got the apk in the first place. Stop being so offencsive and help me upload this if you can. The link works?

That's why i just posted the youtube link n the first thread. Ill do it again. There is nothing mysterious about it. I din't know how to do it, i had never done it before.

Well he sent me the apk via email, its not a playstore app like aPod, it's just the JoyOS rom music app that was pulled out from the rom... the developer is basically JoyOS team..

Me too, but for three years now i ve been using android phones, i 've never seen a music player with decent graphics. Maybe Uber music but this is a clone of wp7 player too. Android lacks a player where you can browse album art smoothly without thinking you own a low end phone. This is the first time i can see my music library looking good
