Seems fine but its a bit too much stuff like the "client commands", "serial key" and stuff, I would like to have those options in another menu, not in the main screen. I want a mobile-FTPserver to be easy with a simple interface where I just have to set the portnumber login and password and see my wireless-IP. And ofcourse a Online and Offline button.
I could set it up but got some errors, don't remember. When I got connected it asked for a password.. I had set it to none on both login and pass but I couldn't get through in the win7 ftp explorer. Then I tried with the standard "user/pass" login and got through but then it told me that I didn't have sufficient rights to view the contents.
However I think you've got a nice program going here and windows mobile needs a few competent apps for this, I haven't searched much but it doesn't seem to be many FTPserver apps out there for wm..
So keep it up mate! I hope you will take my opinions into consideration The best ideas are the easiest ones!

And post some screens here also and mabye the cab attached?

thanks for your evaluation!! Sure i'll consider your oppinion, i'm doing it right now. I am now migrating it from lazarus LCL project to KOL project. It will become smaller, because 1,8Mega is too much. I think that it will became less than 1M.
The firtst thing is organize it in pages as you suggested.
About your connection try. You should certify yourself if the windows explorer is configured to connect in active mode. The passive mode is not implemented yet (but on the way). To set it as a active mode you can look at my page (remorftpmobile dot wordpress dot com/projects/remor-ftp-server/how-to-use/). Sorry i cant post URLs. About the problem with permission it is not normal because you are running a FAT32 file system and permission is just read only mode. Windows sometimes gives the permission error but it was not the real problem. My questions:
1) Do you tried to delete some file that was in use or something similar? What action gives you the error?
2) What is your device and WM version?
I'll post some screens and the CAB when i finish the KOL version. Should be this week!!

Hello all,
after taking some time to do this ftp, o got some other work to do which set me away from this project. But i still using it every day even with some errors
After all, i decide to open the code to share the development with all, so that way we can do a better program. I used lazarus with kol.
Attached you can find the source code and the last cab if you are not a programmer. I hope that i can find some other people with interrest on this project, so i can get motivated to continue it
I dont know any public subversion rep, if any of you have a suggestion...

I need a direct link to any free xap(if possible, minesweeper or whatsapp, I know they are on the South African marketplace) to give my ISP to try figuring out why it gets 403 forbidden every time it attempts to download an app on the marketplace.

Personally I don't believe your story. Regardless, pick an app, search for it on the search engine of your choice along with the word "XAP" and check over the results. I just tried two apps and found over a dozen direct links.

So yeah, it is a known issue that is trying to be solved, error 805a0193 over wifi.
I need the link to Microsoft's marketplace though, random sites don't help me. Need to access MS's link to try solving why the phone get's 403 - forbidden when accessing marketplace over wifi(If 3G wasn't expensive I wouldn't care)

Same error on my OMNIA 7. It looks like that it´s only for the OMNIA W or the new Focus devices...

Redeploy the app but Change the HubType from "268435456" to anything else or delete it from the WMAppManifest.xml inside the XAP

wait, I can't even get the app to work on my samsung focus, it says, this app is not available for your device...help?
I installed this just now, with the mod from above, and it starts up, has it's own listing in the programs list, but doesn't actually do anything. When you try to add a number it just returns to the app list (aka crashes). On next start the numbers list is empty. Omnia 7
Maybe somebody removed ID_CAP_INTEROPSERVICES from the app's manifest? This app uses a native DLL called SecProxyClient.dll. My guess is that this app needs to call into a driver found on Samsung phones. In order to do that, it'll need ID_CAP_INTEROPSERVICES specified in its manifest. Maybe try that?
I'm going to see if I can figure out what the app is doing. With luck, it's something I can duplicate on other phones, like a registry edit or some such. If it requires a function that only the Samsung driver has, though, the odds aren't good this side of a custom ROM.
Dammit, I've wanted this feature, too...
Deploy Works in Lg optimus 7 but the App not. I don´t have error messages but don´t save the numbers.

Well, pasting "ID_CAP_INTEROPSERVICES" into WPInteropManifest.xml doesn't seem to make any difference.
Wrong manifest. It's a capability. It goes in WMAppManifest.xml.
These are pretty basic elements of homebrew or even official WP7 app development, but just to make life easier for people, I'll attach a version with the modification.
Remember that I can't test this app; I have no idea if this will help at all or not. It's a reasonable guess, though. There's also a weird file, just called "_" and containing a string of Hax values. I don't know what it's used for or how important it is.

Samsung Focus 1st gen, still get error " Failed to save. Application may not work properly."
Here is the site where it talks about it, and when you goto the site to download it says app not found, so they may be having problems with it in general.

Interesting that GoodDayToDie's mod does change something though. Instead of just exiting it does give that error message now.
I vote we add more things to manifest files!

It is throwing an error while deploying asking to Re-sign will valid signature and fix manifest file. Can you fix that ?

I have Nokia Lumia 800 on the WP7 platform, and I have installed at home on my network a security camera " Tenvis ip602w". I have this camera working on my network and was hoping to be able to stream the video to my phone.
I have contacted tenvis help and support and have just be told by them that they do not support WP7 at present.
Is there away to connect my phone to my camera,
I have down loaded apps off the market place...AALTRA IP Camera which will get me to the interface screen of the camera,but uable to see video.
" Stream is not recognised as an MJPEG stream. Please check your camera URL"

Install Web UI from http://www.tenvis.com/web/firmwaredownload.html
and try attached program (but provide your credentials and correct camera streaming url)
P.S. By default app displayed mjpeg stream from Tenvis demo cam in China - I've found demos on their website.

Sorry, I don't get you. What file you've tried to download? Attached xap? Is your phone dev/Shevron unlocked? Are you able to sideload apps on your phone? If "no", homebrew can't help you. I do not have a plans to work on the security cam application for markeplace.
BTW, attached xap works fine with Tenvis'es demo cams even in emulator.

Mark, you need dev unlock to be able to sideload application to phone. Regular dev unlock costs $99, ShevronLabs just $9 but all tokens sold out now; you may also apply for students account and receive dev unlock for free (search for details here).
You may also install WP7 SDK http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=27570 and try app on Windows Phone emulator.

Why does this site(the forum) load laggy and roughly? I use my PC with linux and firefox and it is bad. I don't know alot about Web development, but it seems to me that you are not implementing javascript right. Maybe you should do more CSS instead?
Are you having issues with the speed of the download of the page, or is the actual rendering time slow for you?
The site is pretty good for me, with the exception of the front page just because there are so many devices listed.
mine is speed, and also sometimes it freezes for a split second before loading the site.
It's the actual rendering of the page. It can be very bad.
Loads of desktop browser problems for me this morning.
I cannot delete a private message, so keep getting the annoying popup any time I click on a link.
