What theme are you all using in WM6?

I've been using myPhone for a week, it's pretty cool... but I don't like installing 5 things to use a theme...
So trying to get an idea of what you're using.

There's the link btw, an iPhone knockoff.
I am using my own that I made and it includes Fizz Weather.

tested? working? dont lag on atom life?
I am using a Mod I made of the iPhone theme you posted.
You can see it here

Yea, it works great. It was a little slow when you'd first startup, with the generic HTC rom... but with overclocking, or the new Rogers rom, it's fast... I don't know what atom life is?
goraps, what's all different in your version? I don't use my calendar at all... i see you have an icon for the comm manager (i'm assuming)? that's cool, i'd use that alot.
The media, and web icons different also?
The Waltzb theme is two screens the time and the icon screen. Mine is three I goes from the Time screen to my calendar and then to the icon screen. You are right I also added the Comm Manager Icon and made it link to Comm Manager obviously. I should note that the calendar 2nd screen came from the iDash theme from the Facade forums as well here is the link http://forums.sbsh.net/index.php?showtopic=14918
I just sorta put the two together.

WP Clock Live wallpaper

Hopefully this is in the right place to post, but I had to share this for those that never heard of this live wallpaper.
Its easy on the battery since there's not alot moving, and overall just a nice informative wallpaper to have.
There's a free and paid version 65cents? Paid version doesn't really offer to much more than the free one, besides choosing a background and different color fonts and making the font move. But at 65cents not a bad deal I suppose.
Its called WP Clock on the market.
i just love WP Clock..
May I ask if anyone knows what is the widget that looks like the wallpaper with the clock and the tine n stuff but its a widget instead of a wallpaper.

Is this what you're looking for?
Been using this for a full month by now. It's by far the most useful/pretties widget replacing wallpaper I've yet to use.
And for its price, it's a steal.
this thing rocks... LOVE IT!!!
just bought wp clock and i must say it looks fantastic. one thing abt it though, i don't like how its a wallpaper so every homescreen's filled with the thing. really need the space on other homescreens for other stuff. if only they could make this into a widget. typoclock looks similar but i love the data connection and battery info. i tried using multi live wallpaper to have multiple wallpapers simultaneously but it doesnt support using a live wallpaper and a normal one from the gallery. so i guess im stuck, or has anyone found a solution for this yet?

the developer is really good at taking and implementing suggestions... I asked for drop shadow, but he wasn't able to figure that out, so he did the outline so I set my text to white (40% opaque) and outline to black (4pt 80% opaque) and it's almost as good as drop shadow... definitely gives enough contrast to where you can read it no matter what your background is... tell you what, I would actually like the same thing, so I will request it as well, and maybe we'll get it twice as fast =)

[Q] Is it possible to deactivate the wallpaper?

Hi there,
yesterday I´ve flashed to Oxygen 2.0.3.
Then I´ve installed the live wallpaper (PhotoWal) I was using when my Desire was on original HTC Android 2.2 rom.l
But it looks like that PhotoWall has some problems under Android 2.3.3. It steadily crashes and after this the background is black. But after it has been crashed I´ve noticed that the Phone speed has increased very much. The animations are so smooth that it looks similiar to the iphones animations.
Then I thought about creating a small picture which is just black and use it as standard wallpaper (Maybe it would be as fast as without a wallpaper loaded).
Unfortunately this hasn´t worked... the speed is pretty slow if I compare it to the setting without a wallpaper.
I don´t want to load the PhotoWall wallpaper and waiting for a crash all the time, so... does anybody know if it is possible to deactive the whole wallpaper?
I know that it will look kinda naked but I really like it because it is reacting very very quickly.
Thanks in advance!
Install black wallpaper by fraga from the market

I use this file, created with MSPaint.
I have read that having black backgrounds also improves the battery life.
Cheers

Yes it does improve because amoled doesn't use power for black pixels. That's what I heard anyway.

Theme Request - Epic 4G - Transparent Everything?

Hey All,
Just wanted to see if anyone had heard of or could create a theme where all the apps / widgets and such were transparent?
Any info would be appreciated and if someone could make one, I would definitely buy them a beer or 2
Thanks.
Avi
I second that!

They can make all the system apps transparent, but not 3rd party apps from the market, there are just too many to handle apps for each person.

This is right.. there is no way to make every market app transparent without doing it one by one.. but for just the basic stuff dreamsforgotten has a pretty clear theme called crystallized I think. You might wanna put in some requests for your most used apps... or they might be floating around some forums somewhere.
cd's or tapes?
There is a thread in the Android Hacking and Development forum that has a huge list of transparent apps. You can go to that forum and just do a search for transparent in the advanced search. I am running some of them now on my Epic and am liking it. It would be cool though to have all the proprietary phone screens and apps transparent too without any frills. For example, the Syndicate Frozen 1.02 (or substitute your favorite ROM here) with all the in phone stuff (non downloaded apps) transparent.
Again, if anyone could do that, it would be awesome.
Thanks.

Ahhh, well. No big deal. I won't complain.
I transparented as much as possible in a theme called froyo window. I even did the background for the system menus like in settings but realized how impractacle it was. The black background that I cleared also hid the status bar when you open apps such as camera, basically anything you opened the status bar was still there but since it was in the "background" you can't access it. If anyone wants to take that theme and play some more with it feel free. I never updated it past di18 but it wouldn't be hard to copy the framework values over to ec05. I'm not volunteering my time to it so don't take it that way lol.

Google must be toying with us with the Messaging app icon!!

Hey,
I don't know if Google is trying to be funny or something but i find it VERY irritating and stupid that THE WHOLE OS is Cyan (or Blue) and Black ... EVERYTHING... the main icons of phone, people app, notification bar and even the glowing effect of over scroll... except ONE thing, the Messaging app.. GREEN AND WHITE..!!! And not only that, their Flagship device has Super AMOLED screen and there is no DARK theme inside the app settings!! Seriously, Google?
Anyway, i'm done raging now is there a way to change the messaging app icon? (i don't like using third party apps) i want it to be ANYTHING that is similar in color to the Phone app ...
and to take this maybe a step further, is there a way to re-theme the app itself to something DARK with a lot of blacks rather than whites? (i'm not a Dev so i'm just asking, don't flame at me if it's impossible, i dunno)
Aaaaaan that's it, thanks for reading

and if you scroll further down its much easier changing the icons using an app called ninjamorph!
As a graphic designer I was wondering about the exact same issue.
ICS is a big advance in terms of design, but there are a few big "mistakes" designwise imho. It's not only the Messaging icon, it's the whole messaging app, I agree with you. Colorwise it's absolutely the opposite of what it should be... same thing with the People app, way too bright to fit the whole theme of the OS. Should be themed in the same way like the call log and the contacts tap in the dialer.
I don't understand who had the idea to design the calendar, sms and contact app in a completely different design. Fortunately I'm not the only who is unhappy with this.
Hopefully the next update brings us a consistent ui.
