Has anything been announced about when LiveView is going on sale in North America? I'd like one but haven't been able to find anything in terms of a release date.

North America, where's that?
SE thinks North America is on another planet where release dates are just figments of people's imaginations.
Seriously though, I'm with you. I'd like to get my hands on one as well but have yet to see it offered anywhere on this side of the pond.
same here, hopefully they get it out before Christmas. And seriously, I just wanna take over SEAmerica, they're slow as hell!
you can order it on the uk amazon. The total is around 89 dollar canadian including shipping

From which seller?
The cheapest one is https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Erics...534U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1290524520&sr=8-2 which is £67.97 which works out to $110.
well i found another one on amazon, look for the seller soteluk
this one is 52.37 + 7 = around 60 euro
The seller in the link u have were selling it for 56 euro for a while, i bought mine for that price, the shipping was around 7 euro which work out to be 86 dollars canadian.
i doubt liveview will launch in north america like many other sony ericsson accessories. i mean, most of the time i go on the SE website, i select Hong Kong -English or UK just to keep up to date with the latest electronics.. it's a joke if you ask me.
Here's one for $100. Still a bit much I think.
Getgoods.de has one for some 42 euros + shipping but I don't think they ship outside Europe.

Please, soteluk's Liveview is £52.37 + £29.99 international shipping = $128.
You had my hopes up for a while there...
EDIT: I just got a reply from the getgoods.de customer service; they don't ship outside Europe. ;_;

It's not out in the states yet. I'm sure the TMobile US version will be out by then, and maybe some others, but it's not clear at all when an unlocked GSM version will be available here (there's a recent thread linking to an online store, price of about $800 even, but it's preorder).
Clove (UK online store) offers the unlocked Euro GSM version for a little over $700 dollars, but that's minus the VAT. I don't know if all of Europe would pay VAT or just British.
well, i live in New York, and i bought mine
unlocked for 739.99, i saw it tru ebay
but the store was here in the city so
i went personally to the place and bought it.
u can find some more cheap tru ebay..
maybe arround 700..
oh and btw im using it with T-mobile..
too bad they will only allow Edge on it....
ok ok thank you
would everyone put an expected price for the gsm unlocked desire in US dollars???
just thoughts..
It's all over the web ready for pre-order already. Just go to the usual suspects and check...
Clove
Expansys
Devicewire
If you're not good with currencies, just let Google do the work for you.
htcdirect: £386.95
clove: £387.75
devicewire: £389.95
expansys: £439.99
my question was, which price of them is the confirmed one! lol

Those price include the VAT (VAT are kindda taxes and they only apply for European countries) judging from your flag, you're not in Europe, so if you happen to order, the VAT value will be deducted from the over-all price you mentioned
Expansys UAE is selling it for 575$ which is amazing

Last time I checked...around $530 from Handtec
I will wait for black market version, the shop guy pretends he will get it within 2 weeks
As for the price if he's selling the N1 for 750$ right now I think the Desire will cost 650$
BTW ok it costs much less from Clove but you have to add 20% Lebanese customs
(i'll have a hard time not calling it that...)

anyone have any experience with mobile city? i got my nexus s from negri, and it went ok, but i've never used them. i understand expansys has a decent reputation. i used mad monkey boys gadgets to order my htc kaiser in 07, but they've since gone under. any experience?
eric b
$749.99 where's they pull that out of? lol
I'm down at 550 but 750? I really hope it isn't 750.
how much was a nexus s when it came out?
I think both nexus's were in the range of $550 when they debuted. There is no way in hell the galaxy nexus is worth above $600. In 3 months the phone will have lost a third of its value.
I voided my warranty and your mum.
not sure how much they were if they were ordered through google. i ordered one of the white nexus s models (before at+t released their subsidized one) on negri the day it appeared on the site for 598.50.
eric b
my nexus S at release from BB was 580
not too sure but just thought id point this out, the one in the first link has buttons so to my knowledge that can't even be it...correct? ICS= no hardware buttons
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
i see a volume rocker and power button as the only physical buttons?
eric b
I wouldnt trust any of those links/vendors with any of my money

I pre-ordered it yesterday from Handtec, hopefully among the first ones
Have bought a sgs2 from mobilecityonline.com and didn't have any issues. On expansys they are well known site for selling unlocked imported phones, so you should be ok. But yeah the prices are always on the higher side on these sites. International SGS2 was initially selling at $750 in expansys at the time of release.
Clove co.uk = 812 USD, 590 €, 430 GBP
with EU VAT number = 512 €, 705 USD
Calculations made for my country, Slovenia
Im pretty happy with 512 €, just need to sell GS2 for at least 350 €

cool, glad to hear that! i know the price will be more than buying one from a carrier, i was more worried about the reputation since i've never used or heard of mobile city online. thanks!

That Clove price is pre VAT though right? Including VAT it's around £516
all these foreign pre-orders make me sad,

Hey guys,
I was thinking about getting the Galaxy Nexus directly from Google through the Play Store. Are there different versions around or will it also work here in Germany?
Thanks!
Yes its the same. It's unlocked and will work anywhere in the world. The Play Store only ships to the US though. Have to buy from a different importer, or from a phone shop in Germany.
There's nothing special about the Play Store version though... it just has Google Wallet preloaded, that's it.
Alright, thanks! I have an American friend who would get me one.

The question is, why would you go through all that trouble? It's not like it's cheaper. If customs opens the package and that's very likely, it'll end up costing you even more than in any local MediaMarkt who are selling them for around 360€.

Its gonna be more expensive to have them buy it in the US + tax + shipping, then pay to ship it to you + customs (potentially).
Just buy it directly and have it shipped to Germany.

Well, right now there is no better price than buying it in the U.S. and importing it, in my opinion. The phone will be about $380 including tax and shipping. This is 310 Euros. Tax for delivery to Germany will be about 40 Euros. So it is 350 Euros effectively.
I can't find any store that sells the Nexus for this price in Germany right now. Do you?
And which U.S. store is selling the Nexus at a comparable price that will ship to Germany?
Greetings,
HanSolo80
Hi guys,
I'm looking at buying a Galaxy Nexus sim free soon and was wondering if anyone knew of any deals around now.
At the minute I have found the cheapest to be Play.com at £340.
Using a website called TopCashBack I am able to get 4.04% back on my purchase which would make the total cost of the phone a little over £326.
Although I have found better deals on eBay and Amazon merchants, a lot of these seem to ship from Hong Kong which is something that I would like to avoid at all costs.
Thanks for any replies or help with this matter.
Mike.

That looks like a bargain off of play.com for a new UK phone from a reputable seller. I just got mine last week and ended up buying a used one off ebay for £220. I didn't see any that were new from the UK that would beat £326 when I was looking. The £330 ones off of amazon marketplace seem to be asian devices.

I have seen their website before but don't like the fact that they operate from Hong Kong.
Although their prices are cheaper I have read enough reviews to make me order from Play.com
Thanks for the suggestion though

The amazon.de offer was more like £300 after delivery costs and you have the disadvantage of dealing with a foreign retailer (the UK site won't support the purchase).
