Dont know how you can pick and choose for each app and save the memory of it.
But you can manually do that by keeping a widget for Autorotate on homescreen, and switching between the app and the screen.

Screen rotation app - the other way

hi,
sorry if this question has already been asnwered..
is there an app in which i can set which programm may use landscape mode?
i know there are lots of software which allow me to set the programs which should NOT use the rotation, but i just need it in very few applications so it would be much easier to define programs that are allowed to use rotation, instead of denying.
any ideas?
G-Config with a Whitelist for apps that should go into landscape will help you:

thanks for the quick answer. i will try it!

Disable screen auto-rotate on certain programs?

Is there a way to disable the auto-rotate feature on some programs when you rotate your phone? I don't think I want to use thos feature unless I open my keyboard..

I agree with you, same problems here and I'd like a way to exclude certain programs.
Anyone else have any luck?

[Q] Home screen rotation mod?

Is their a easy way without root to get the homescreen to rotate with the stock launcher? I was thinking that there must be a config file or something similar that could be edited.
+1
Would LOVE if this was possible (but somehow I doubt it's not).

[Q] Rotation question

Hello, Samsung users! I have a question for you..
I wonder what happens if you open an app that has fixed rotation and then split the screen to open another app that supports both rotations.. What happens when device is rotated? And what happens if you open the same apps in different order and rotate the device? And what if you open a fixed portrait app and a fixed landscape app?
I just don't know how Samsung handles that kind of weird problems
Anyone? I don't need any solution to any problem! I'm just curious about how Samsung handled rotation for different apps!

As far as I know there are no programs without rotation for the multiwindow. Not in stock 4.1.2. So Samsung solved this problem before it begins
So, they forced rotation for all apps? ._.

No. There are only apps with rotation feature. You can't put an app to the multiwindow sidebar wich can't rotate.
So they restrict user experience.... Nice!
Thanks for your replies, Tryunus!

Question Lockscreen shortcut apps

Hey lads, i would like to replace my bottom left Lockscreen app (assistent) with Youtube music WITHOUT the need to enter password on swiping it, like the camera on left side.
I tried
Gravitybox and macrodroid
Replacing the shortcuts is no issue but i want the app to launch on top of lockscreen without entering the password.
Anyone know how?
Then disable your password, pincode and other lockscreen security features.
Notice how, when swiping the camera from lockscreen, you can take a picture but you can not go to recent pictures?
Ever wonder why?

Jesus... Thanks for letting me know the password was able to be dissabled i guess..
You havent tried when your having a party or just enjoying music with friends and they want to find a song?
Instead of unlocking the phone completely or giving them the password you could launch the Yt music shortcut or spotify without typing the password on top of the locksreen so they still didnt have full access..
But there is a reason why you can not do that...

If you want it for parties, you can just lock an app open and do it that way?
I know this isn't what you were looking for but try quick launch. Just search for it in settings.

Yep i guess i could do it that way but im pretty sure there is a way to obtain it with Root but if it is the Lockscreen launcher you have to edit or the app itself i aint sure of.

There is also a reason why you cant root your phone by clicking root my phone in settings..
I was not asking if there is a reason behind it.. I was trying to bypass, edit or manipulate it..
Its not the whole app drawer i need access to without password but a simple harmless music app...

Wouldn't that be nice though!!
MOD EDIT: READ FORUM RULES ABOUT LANGUAGE
You want to do something that you can not do due to security measures.
You can disable all those measures and then you can open apps without android asking for a pin, facial recognition, fingerprint.
But you do not want to do that...
You want to keep your security, just not for one specific app.
That app you want to be able to run just like that without any kind of fingerprint, code, pattern...
That's not possible...
Your simple harmless app gives you acces to your YouTube account... Where you can change stuff you do not want strangers to change.
But hey, mister mastermind. Go and write an YT music app with minimal controls that you can run from lockscreen so your friends can change songs and stuff. With nothing more.
Best of luck to you.
