Since upgrading to the Sprint WM6.5 stock rom, my Opera Favorites folders are all expanded in the "Favorites" view ... so I see the name of each folder I've created, and underneath each I see all the bookmarks for that folder. In the 6.1 version, you would have to tap on the folder to pull up the list of bookmarks for that folder. Is there any way to make Opera exhibit this same behavior under the WM6.5 rom?

Does anyone know how to do this?
I would like to take one or two of my Opera Mobile 10 bookmarks and put a shortcut to it on the start programs page.
I am able to make a shortcut to the Internet Explorer favorites in the Windows/favorites folder, but anything I link a shortcut in there just goes to internet explorer.
I like to have 30+ bookmarks and prefer to organise on to folders. Opera 10 on my HD was superb. Any apps to achieve similar for the Desire?
You can create folders on the home screens and save bookmarks in them if that helps?
@ Firedup, thanks. That helps.
Another work round that I have found is to export my bookmarks from Chrome to Google Docs. I can then open Google Docs in the Desire brwoser and bookmark the Google Docs folder page. I then have access to all my PC's bookmarks from Desire. Not very elegant but it seems to work. But anyone know how to import the bookmarks from Google Docs?
One thing that is very handy is to use GestureSearch from google labs: http://gesturesearch.googlelabs.com/
You simply draw the letters with your fingers on the screen.
Ie, if you wanted to find a link to this page, you start by drawing an O with your finger, then and r then a g - and b then it would probably be displaying your bookmark.
I have an Evo with stock OS. When I first didn't see any way of storing browser bookmarks into folders, I assumed I just needed to dig deeper. But now I've convinced myself that there is no way to create folders & store browser bookmarks into folders that are integrated into the browser. That really surprises me. I was able to do that in 2005 with WinMo.
Is there another version of the web browser that supports storing bookmarks in folders? If not - can someone recommend a decent browser that does?
I'm not talking about creating a folder along with all my app icons in Sense. I'm talking about folders that are integrated into the browser application - just like you would see in a generic web-browser like WinMo, or Firefox, etc. Would Opera or Dolphin fit the bill?
I have a folder of Google/Chrome bookmarks that I would like to transfer to the phone's local set of bookmarks. I'd rather use local bookmarks on the phone because the folder of bookmarks I'd like to use is nested from the root directory (if you know what I mean), and it's sort of a pain to have to hit the folder each time I'd like to access the folder's contents.
So, is there an app that can simply copy a folder of bookmarks to the local set of bookmarks?

Click to collapse
You don't need an app. You can do it in the settings for the browser that comes with the phone. Just go to bookmarks and view your Google/Chrome bookmarks.
Hmm. I sort of expected I wasn't being clear enough.
OK, in the default browser's bookmarks section, you have two subsections - Google account bookmarks and local bookmarks.
The Google account subsection always defaults to the root directory and does not remember the last-accessed subfolder. The root directory mirrors Chrome Desktop's shortcut bar. I have a folder of mobile-optimized websites. It is this folder that I would simply like to copy to the *local* bookmarks subsection.
The reason is that only then, by selecting the *local* bookmarks as default, all my mobile-optimized bookmarks appear in the root directory. It's simply about faster access, and I'd rather not have all my mobile-optimized bookmarks occupying my Chrome Desktop's shortcut bar.
Does that make sense?
Is there any option to copy any bookmark in Microsoft Edge?
I want to have some bookmarks both in Bookmarks Folder and in the Bookmarks Bar but it seems imposible. I want to have syncronized my Lumia 640 with my Pc, and have the same bookmarks in both. The problema is I am not capable of copy and paste...
However, has anyone know how the sync Works? Is it via OneDrive or Outlook Mail?, because when I change the name of a bookmark, or delete or something in the PC, the change take forever to take effect on my pone if does...
Thanks for your answers .
