Installation
Do this, even if you are on a Gingerbread Custom Rom. Except a JVH Rom, than you can just flash my rom!

Download all the 3 Files from the Table above
Flash JVH with Bootloader with Odin
Wait till your phone is bootet up
Flash CFRoot Kernel 3.1 JVH with Odin - put it in PDA
Again: Wait till your phone bootet up
Now copy Hamsterbread.zip to your internal SD Card
Boot to recovery mode
Navigate with Volume and Power Button and choose the following:

install zip from sdcard
choose zip from sdcard
Hamsterbread.zip
Now my rom get's installed - should reboot automatic after install
]Now wait, smoke a cigarette or do something else, boot can take up to 5 minutes - just relax!
Congratulation - your phone is now Hamsterized

Yes, its the Androdena Galassia Theme. I was too lazy to write the whole name.
Sounds nice! Can you fix the pictures? Opening them in a new tab comes up with a forum where I have to sign in first (handy-faq.de)...
I made my own bootanimation. If you want to see it, you have to apply root again from the kernel. The root which comes with my rom wont work on the first boot if you come from an eclair version.
man, that rom has a really nice look. It might be the first custom rom I'm gonna try...

THE Rom is in GERMAN! How do I change it to English?
EDIT: Found the way to change it.
It should happen after you enter your pin?
How did you manage it? I thought it changes automatic to the language where you are. Happened to me with some csc files that they were englisch and after entering the pin it changed the language to the right one.
Editet first post with instructions how to change the system language if it is german. Sorry for that. Will try to fix this.

Unfortunately not for me, as your JFS choice makes me rattle.
The JFS implementation is, for now, way too unstable and unreliable on Galaxy S.
By the way, good thought about providing CWM's zip as part of the rest, seem to be a very good idea.

Installation instructions (Simple):
Download
Go to recovery
Choose ultimate
Flash and reboot
THIS WILL WIPE
Installation instructions (Newbie):
If your coming from stock then root your phone.
Once rooted download rom manager from android market and flash clockwork mod recovery, make sure u choose i9000 when prompted
Download ULTIMATE and put in SD CARD of your phone.
Then go to recovery by turning off your phone, then pressing volume up, power and home button until it says SGS I9000
Then if u end up in samsung recovery then click apply sdcard update.zip, now you will end up in recovery (You might have to repeat this twice)
Then click choose zip from sd card, choose ULTIMATE
Click YES and Reboot.

Gonna try this one. Sounds promissing. I was on doc's JP8 v9 but had problem with market downloads so I reverted to JPO v8 where I have same problem.

Man this is one fast and stable ROM compared to others... CM7 has battery bug and this doesn't so I choose this lol
just downloading will give a try.
just been using for awhile. really like. i did put dark cores kernel in and kc1 modem. sorry. quadrant 1980. really smooth. wifi fast camera good video good. gps good. will check in tommorrow

I am currently on MIUI 1.6.10. And would like to try this ROM, considering the posts saying battery is good on this.
For installation do I need to do something different that I am on MIUI? Or normal CMW flash will work?

great rom stable tw4 but has anybody else found that bluetooth does not turn on?
havn't tried blue tooth but will. so far really like rom been on since last night. for me its fast and smooth. i use phone for everyday and this works well.
fixed bluetooth issue by flashing the latest darkcore kernel works fine now Phew!!! cause I really like this rom thanks to a previous poster who mentioned he stayed with the darkcore kernel so I thought i would give it a try edit:- that previous poster was you nex1685 so you should find that your bluetooth works cause you used darkcore where others installing with included kernel may find bluetooth doesnt work (unless it was just something i done)

Prerequites:
- Make sure your 3 button combination works
- Flash with full battery, or atleast not under 75%
- For your own safety, always disable lagfix
- Back-up all your apps, messages,etc,just for security. However the ROM will be distributed in WIPE and NO-WIPE format.
STEP 1 :
Download and extract : I9000XXJVR (Password: samfirmware.com)
STEP 2 :
- Open Odin v1.82
- Tick Re-Partition on and load the following files in Odin
PIT = s1_odin_20100512.pit
PDA = CODE xxxxxx.tar
PHONE = MODEM xxxxxx.tar
CSC = CSC.tar
Shut-down your phone and reboot in download mode (VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER)
Connect your phone and wait for Odin to say 'Added!!' then click on START
This will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes
After your phone booted, close Odin.
STEP 3:
-Let your phone start up this may take a while
-Congratulations you are now on Android 2.3.4 XXJVR
STEP 4:
Download this kernel: http://www.mediafire.com/?c4tzd5eoe39z27n
Start up odin again
PDA = Semaphore_kernel_XXJVQ_1.6.0.tar
Connect your phone when it is in download mode and click on start
Now let your phone boot fully again
STEP 5: (Last step)
1. Download the latest (V7.2.1) and put it on your SD-card
2. Boot in recovery
3. Choose for "install zip from SD" then "choose zip from sd"
5. Apply the GingerReal-X.X-XXXX.zip
6. Wait till it is done and reboot your device after that
7. Wait till it is fully booted
Congratulations,you are now on the latest GingerReal!
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you're still on 7.2,you can flash the 7.2.1 NOWIPE,that will fix all the bugs and won't delete all your data. Otherwise,you have to flash the WIPE one.

Yea i have the same... when i try to open the Power Menu.. the Launcher hang off and i got a soft-reboot

Flashed your Rom as per instructions. Took 12 mins to boot. Nothing working properly..............only FCs. Neither I can dial a number nor I can open sub menus in settings. Totally a unprofessional Rom. We dont expect these silly mistakes from professional people.
I think I would revert back to my ever strong MIUI.

The crt on. . He really has no idea what he's talking about. Yes.. the crt on doesn't work now. But the error he gets is in cwm which has nothing to do with what he flashed. . The rom is fine. But do not flash the crt on yet as it doesn't work yet, but will soon. Reading and learning before over reacting is golden...
And... the reason your cwm says its unable to mount sdcard is because its already mounted, and that has nothing to do with flashing... a simple advanced/reboot recovery will fix that.
one quick question, is this rom has multilanugae support?
i need hebrew and RTL alianment support until ICS will com
if you can implment it to the rom i will be very grateful.

you might wanna rename the zip as rom manager starts moaning about spaces in between the name
(but it's easy for us to resolve by renaming it)

lovin the new theme but black on black doesn't really work (see bottom of pic)
but the data connection works fine and dandy
