G1 AngryBirds - G1 Themes and Wallpapers

Hey Guys for those who wish to know where the save file is; and if you want to make a back up here you go.
adb shell
su
cp data/data/com.rovio.angrybirds/files/highscores.lua /sdcard
cp data/data/com.rovio.angrybirds/files/settings.lua /sdcard

Why are you posting this in the "G1 Themes and Wallpapers" section?

they are posting it there because angry birds is SERIOUS BUSINESS

100% agree!!

No it's here because on the G1 it runs so slow that it might as well be a wallpaper.

Lol. Rovio said they are making a lite version with the same amount of levels for slower devices, so g1ers will get their fix soon

Absolutely no idea what I've done but my HTC "pictures" program isn't showing either in the app drawer or as a widget so I'm currently using the "gallery 3d apk to look at my media. Any idea How I may have deleted the apk (if that's what I've done) & what do i need to do get it back. Is there an apk to download anywhere? stock sense 2.2. Cheers

just download a rom with the htcalbum.apk that you want to use, and push it to /system/app using adb
You know what, as much as I really & truly appreciate your quick reply AndroHero, you know when the teacher speaks to Charlie Brown in the cartoons, that's how I heard your advice . I am to software what Boy George is to cage fighting I'm afraid & am also a Liverpool supporter so you can see how "lucky" I am too. I daren't "root" or push via adb" or whatever you genius' do to enhance your Desire experience for fear of busting my beloved phone. Is there a simple way to do what it is you suggest? without root you have no write access to /system/ so you couldnt of deleted it you also cant push a simlar .apk back, are you sure there isnt an app called "gallery" in your app draw? the best i could suggest is to do a hard reset, your phone should be like it was when you bought it
LoL... well it blimmin well is! I'm sure it used to be called pictures I spent ages looking around the "P" bit on the app drawer & no wonder I couldn't find it! It is there under "gallery". AndroHero, thank you very much indeed, your patience with an escapee from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest has been outstanding. Thank you for your help once again... embarassed.. Occupied - Nice game

Nice graphics and sound and good free game to play. Check it out!
Here's a link to the game + video.
Don't forget to flush!
I love how you throw Android to the trash. "Don't forget to recycle"
Cool! I didn't realize it was from the Bouncy Box people. That is one of my favorite apps. I'll give Occupied a try.
Great game and free, hope it some a update as I am playing it to death. Its hard thou, trying to get to lvl 15 on hard to unlock imposable mode feels imposable but I will do it
Just tried out the game and I have to say other than a small lag a few times, it is a lot of fun.

Yes, impossible wasn't actually supposed to be beatable but looking at the highscores four people apparently proved me wrong Let me know when you beat bandre - his score is incredible!
I am working on a whole new level pack but this takes time ... I'll try to add a few levels for you in the meantime ;-)
I think the game is great, but it is however unplayable for me. I always play these games while listening to an audiobook. In occupied I can't (the version I tries, atleast) mute the sound, and therefor I can't play it...

If you want to play the audiobook on the phone just start it before you start the game.
If the book is playing somewhere else then go to options (in the game) and select Music "Off". You can get rid of the sound effects as well by moving the fx slider to the left.
Hope this helps.
Hi viyano, I like your game quite a bit, would you mind opening a thread with the proper structure for the game and close this ?

Yes of course - I've added a new thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14369552
Can you merge/close this thread?
Look am not merging my thread to yours, if you wat merge urs to mine.. That way we won't have Two threads for one game.

I only opened that thread because andycted (who I assume is a moderator) asked me to and because of the forum guidelines. I'm not a moderator so I don't think I can merge anything

And I'm not a moderator !
But since Tito, who is the moderator, can't take care of this subforum at the moment, I've tried to put some order in here. It's becoming increasingly confused. It appear some mod put general threads about apps/games here, while instead it should only be for those publishing free apps (see sticky).
I'd say I won't be trying this anymore, it's far too messy
Expect to get a workout in Occupied tomorrow!
where can I download this game?

convert snesoid saves to snes9x?

hi guys.
I know it's a funny question, but i really be happy if it can be done. I played translated seiken densetsu 3 on snesoid cause it worked there (even if i had flashing screen at avery conversation bubble), now i found out with latest update of snes9x (which was my favourite to begin with) seiken densetsu 3 works PERFECTLY.
But yeah, don't wanna start over again. So, again, is it possible to transfer my save state or save point (you know, the save feature existing in "battery" inside every cartridge-stuff) to snes9x from snesoid?

could you load that save then save it as a emulator .sav file then use that on the other emulator

Yea you can, only the battery save though, not save states. You just change the .sav from snesoid to a .srm that snes9x uses, its been a while since i did it but i think they are the correct extensions.

it works, i did it myself, they are basically the same core emulator, yongzh just changes the save file output for some reason.
you can also use save files off many pc emulators and put them on the play if you wish. They might not all work but some will.
ups, delete me pls...

Modded old play store apk to show bought apps section again.

Long story short. A guy modded an old play store apk so that there's a section that still shows all the apps you've bought. The newer play apps have all the apps you've ever downloaded, but looks like they got rid of the bought section. It's been modded so that it can run alongside the regular play store without interfering. I'm running Calkulin's el29 2.8.1. I had to copy to /system/app with root explorer, then grab connectbot, run a local, su then cd to directory and chmod it then reboot. It's on modoco's forum. http://www.modaco.com/topic/356009-legacy-play-store-with-all-purchased-apps-visible/ Look for djfoo000's post if you don't know what to do. Like I said, I skipped to the last two commands because I didn't go the adb route. The person who modded the file said he doesn't want mirrors, to just link to the post over there. This is not warez, nor is it trying to steal traffic for making money off them, so I hope this is okay with the mods.
Thanks for posting this. Worked great for me. Forgotten I had purchased most of the apps.

That may be the reason they got rid of it, so people aren't staring at how much money they spent!

[LIST] Must Have Nexus 7 II (2013) Apps

I plan on transferring all of my apps and games over to my Nexus 7 II with Paranoid Android ROM installed from my Note II via Titanium Backup minus the Samsung only stuff in the coming days... will be using both devices depending on situation. Note II will be my never leave at home device while the Nexus will be for school and work. Figured I'd post this to give other people ideas about what to install on their amazing new devices since it can be time-consuming to search and navigate the market sometimes if you are new to the Android scene. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
Here are some screenshots of my Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphone as of 08.12.13. Four Apex Launcher Pro homescreens running in CleanROM V5.0 with Perseus Kernel V36.3... The screenshots include my most used and favorite apps somewhat sorted by category... have around 220 apps installed after months of stability and battery testing, but have narrowed it down to the best to be displayed on the 196 available spots due to the custom 7x7 grid... check it out if you need some new Android apps!
Nexus 7 II (2013)... transfer from Note II a work in progress, but feel free to find some new apps and leave suggestions about ones that I should try in the comments. Thanks!
...Reserved for OP
did you throw up in this thread jeezzzz
Amazing job :victory:
OP, with all due respect, you might just be stark-raving mad. Why are you dumping all of your apps on your home screens? Are you aware that the Android operating system has an app drawer?
I have the Nova Launcher going and I have only 3 homescreens enabled and really only use 1. The app drawer is where I have defined categories (e.g. 'Media' or 'Games') for my apps. My homescreen is limited to providing quick access to the apps I use VERY FREQUENTLY (e.g. 'Tasks', 'Maps', 'Messaging') and for the widgets which relay the most important information to me, such as 'To Do' lists, which use the Google Tasks API.
I can't begin to understand your approach.

In going to have to agree. Also seeing all those persistent notifications is driving me wild...completely defeats the purpose!
One question, considering you recommend these specifically for Nexus 7v2.
Are all these apps compatible with Android 4.3?
Because I can't say that they can be a "Must Have" if they'll crash or only work 50% of the time.
cool
I was assuming the OP just installed all of these apps, and hadn't moved the icons to their permanent location yet. I could be wrong, but I can't imagine anyone just plastering their home screens with all of their apps! Could be how the OP has it setup for use though, who knows and who cares! Who are we to judge how anyone else uses or sets up their devices? It's their device and they can set it up and use it however they please. After all, it would be a boring world if everyone setup and used their devices IDENTICAL to everyone else. Not my cup of tea, but to each their own, and definitely not anyone's place to judge how others use their devices......

Oh for crying out loud. You are just being a bleeding heart. The guy posted 20 pictures of his home screen on xda...he made a topic just to share his setup. He was obviously looking for some sort of input. If he was self contiguous about his home screens, making a topic and posting his home screens isn't the best idea in the world. I wasn't being disparaging, so your long, politically correct post is unneeded. Wasn't even making a big deal about his homescreens, just left a sentence stating my opinion.

I didn't quote you or point a finger at you, so cry to someone else because I don't care to hear it. I even said that I don't like the setup myself, so I was pointing the finger at myself as much as I was anyone else! Read my post again! Sorry that you got your feelings hurt over something I said in my post.
He did NOT start this thread "just to share his setup" and get feedback on it, you might want to re-read the OP. He stated these were "must have apps" and was sharing the app titles, NOT sharing his setup and "looking for some sort of input ". Lol. Again, sorry you got butt-hurt over a post that wasn't even directed at you. You might wanna get some thicker skin before posting on a public forum for the world to read. All I did was state my opinion, like you said you were doing as well. The only "big deal" that was made was by you, getting so defensive about my post which wasn't even directed at you.
Also, what do you mean by "self contiguous"?
Have a nice day, and refrain from quoting me in the future.
