[Q] Android 2.2 Email App

I did a quick search for this and didn't find what I was looking for, so here is hoping somebody out there can help.
I am running stock HTC Sense on my EVO, and it is my understanding that the HTC email app can't run two exchange accounts simultaneously but the Google-created email app can.
Can anyone confirm this, or provide me with the download to the stock 2.2 mail app?

Facebook account sync

I have the Facebook app working fine but when I try to add a Facebook account in the accounts section of settings nothing happens. When I click on the Facebook icon literally nothing happens. Anyone else having this problem?

Everyone is. There are a LOT of threads on this already. Due to a failure on Facebook's part to properly use the Android Contact APIs, Facebook contact syncing is currently NOT supported.

Well don't I feel stupid. I did do a search but didn't find anything. Thanks for your help. Sorry for the duplicate thread.

No problem; the search function on this and most forums is sorely lacking anyway, at least in my experience.

Just to let you know, you can sync your contacts by getting the friendcaster app or a new app called haxsync which works really well.

Editing contacts on cm10

I created four new contacts using the google contacts website. I am viewing them right now from the phone and it seems I cannot update them EXCEPT for putting in a picture.
Is there a way to edit contact from within the phone?

Don't know about people app but android pro widgets free in play store let's you edit your contacts in the group connected to the widget. Try it. I am on tbaldens cm10 a12

Hi guys,
Here's the new Facebook Home app for people who can't download from Google Play Store.
Update first your Facebook and Facebook Messenger app and install the Facebook Home app attached.

Anyone know if the Messenger uses SMS to send receive FB messages? Or does it just integrate FB with SMS. Don't want to pay AT&T for SMS

It works through your data connection... Its just Facebook messenger

Agree. He wanted to make his thanks meter to reach 1000. Look now he has 1001. Maybe he's,trying to make it over 9000!!

Actually, according to time stamps this one was first by a couple of hours. I closed the one in General and redirected traffic to this thread.

I probably won't keep it, but the home app is not that bad as a lockscreen. Lockscreen serves no purpose anyway, so... Once you realize you can keep your launcher inside intact, it is not so bad.
What would be really cool is if somebody made like a Flipboard lockscreen app like FB home.

kinda have to agree. tried it out for 5 mins, no quick access to normal apps and the newsfeed kinda sucks. uninstalled after 5 mins. I'm sure they'll improve on it though....

Very Useless app.Work as a launcher.it is not good.Normal FB app is enough for me

what do you mean?
just install it like any other app, there are 2 apps you will need to install, the facebook app and the messenger app. If you already have FB app then uninstall it before installing the new one.

Its a useful app for facebook addicts, otherwise its not that useful, doesn't even gives the common launcher features.

facebook home is for 4.0+, not for old gingerbread (check play store)
