Well I tried it but it did not install on JPO. "Application did not install" was the error message. No harm done though.
That's a shame I hope someone finds a solution, I really like those leaves falling into the water

That's probably not deoxded. If you want to use that you are going to need the odex files as well.

Hi,
I have recently converted from Sence based ROM to Vanilia based ROM (OpenDesire 4.0) and trying to find some alternative apps for the core features I use all the time on my phone. The main one I am looking for is an app which can select/copy and paste in most apps?
I have tried searching and googling and only seem to find this one which takes a screen shot and then OCR's but people say its very inaccreate. I am also only really looking for text not so much images.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks for the link. It seems its the same one I noticed earlier which doesnt quite do what I want. Will keep doing some research and will let you know if I find one suitable for just text.

Will do.
Just sorting out a few other apps atm due to converting from sence based ROM's.
Search the market for an app called 'Copy Paste It'. It's not as good as the Sense copy paste but it works pretty well.

heheh no problem. Looks like atm its the only opton. Shame really.
The htc Sense "copy/past" make all the difference..I'm SO UPSET that ONLY htc SENSE can make that !! I was happy too with my cyanogen Rom until I discover that navigation without the copy/past is just ****..how the F**k they didnt think about that when they realized these roms to include it!! because of that im back to htc sense which is so far the best for rightnow, I know that the problem is related to the "browser" naked in android, and the htc one called WEBKIT 3.1 have it...why is it not possible to include then the WEBKIT browser in the other non sense roms then ????
Anyone know where the apk for the keyboard is within the ROM (version 1.2) so I can pull it out....I'm into system/app and I can see most of the apk's but not the keyboard......maybe it's just named something else...or alternatively, download it from somewhere else?

How come it doesn't work? I renamed the .apk to make sure it didn't somehow screw something up....used astro to install it, selected "enable android keyboard" from settings/keyboard.........just including all of my steps in case you maybe didn't try one......but maybe it's for some reason I don't know, I've never used SR....

I think its because skyraider has a modded android keyboard already

Here is the lightest ROM I could build. I did this as a request and a challenge just to see how lite I could make it.
Most everything Note Related (S-Pen), Google Related, Samsung Related, and Verizon related is GONE.
This is a one shot ROM, meaning no add-ons will be made. You use it like it is or you can flash a more main stream ROM like the standard edition of CleanROM.

So I'm running this rom right now (thanks scott for doing this) I can see why it's beta. When removing files you never know what's going to stop working. If you take a screenshot using spen it will crash.
I will say install and first boot up took about a minute!!! crazy fast
Been waiting to try something extra clean and lite without the guts showing... :victory: Nice work!

Op: I took out all Note related files, to clarify, that means S-Pen.
S-Pen will not work.
I may make adjustments to functions as we go though.... I had fun just making it like this. So let the thread fill up with bugs and in a couple days I will decide which way to go with it.

This thing is legit fast and running great on my end here. The one thing I noticed is the Air Command window still pops up when I pull my S-Pen out. I will daily driver this at least for a day so I can see how things run, find bugs, etc.

Yeah, I haven't figured out how to kill that. I make take another stab at it.
So far we know Screenshots dont work with Pen.
I also know, which hasnt been reported, that the voice memo feature in the Camera will not but it doesnt F/C, just says app not installed.

EDIT: I looked at that and its just a bunch of APKS thrown into one single zip. No break down. Its a mess in there.

Dang. Well... it was worth considering.
Every day I get up and think to myself "there are only two things left that I'd like to do in terms of tweaking this phone":
The first is a succesful implementation of the v6 supercharger script, which at the moment has to be run manually. That's because there's a bug with SManager Script Manager that only effects Samsung devices. I'm in communication with the developer and that will hopefully be remedied soon.
The other is what I'd like to ask all of you about. It's regarding CWM Recovery.
My impatience has google repeatedly bringing me back to the same article on how to root/cwm GT-I9195.

Now, my phone is SCH-l435 (Verizon). I'm already rooted. Are the odds good that CWM from GT-l9195 would work on my device?
