This is HOTT....where can we get this??...I translated the page to English with google translate but there is only artwork, no download links or anything.
Indeed it looks nice :O

I must have this app
I would love this, anyone find it yet?
If it is for android it would probably need permanent root to flash it as a theme and fonts. My friend has a rooted evo and thats all shes been doing is changing up the fonts and stuff. Looks very similar to what ive seen from her screenshots but ive found no way to implement them with temp root.

It's such an awesome update, but it causes this weird lag problem on my phone that pretty much freezes it. Having to do a battery pull after every 1 or 2 videos isn't fun
waayyy better im lovin it! no problems here

I *knew* I wasn't alone on this!! Same thing happens to me! It's so goddamn annoying I went as far as uninstalling the update. It's worthless if it freezes badly like it does!

I read through nearly all of the comments and of those mentioning they had a G2 all but 2 or 3 said they were having this problem. I'm gonna wait for them to fix it for the G2.

Same here.
The new youtube app isn't the only one that was updated. Most of the gapps also have new versions on the market. For example, the shopper app or the street view app had new versions on the market that I wasn't aware of until I searched pub:"Google Inc." You guys should probably download those as well.

Yeah probably, but the apps weren't linked to the market so I had no idea that some of the other apps were updated too. For example, maps always updates itself so I assumed the rest of the gapps would do the same.
Try avoiding the use of the "back" button while you're in the YouTube app. It hasn't crashed for me since I stopped. I'm sure an update will come pretty soon. This is an entirely new version of the app, it may take awhile to get all the bugs worked out. Looks promising, though. I like the UI.

Yeah, technically, whoever you downloaded that swype package from, unless it was swype's site, is distributing it illegally, since it's a closed source and licensed app. The only ROM it is distributed in here is the rooted stock ROM that came with swype, since it's licensed for that.

Is that the one from stock the same called black glass keyboard? I had a copy, but like the rest, it said it had expired, I wonder if it was pulled out of stock or was it a beta too?

I honestly don't know, sorry. I never really use swype, I've only interacted with it once or twice, I prefer Latin IME. I didn't know they came in different themes. If it expired, I would assume it was the beta, since the one in the stock ROM doesn't expire, I don't think.
Swype isn't included in the os?
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
Just download "SlideIT Keyboard"
You can swype and its wayy better than the original "swype" that comes with the phone
SlideIt keyboard its a good alternative if u can't find a working swype, but it is not better then Swype...

Anyone know where or what the file name for the 3g icon is? I don't like the look of the new one.

Normally the files you're looking for are located inside system/framework/framework-res.apk under the folder drawable-hdpi
In a normal rom you're be looking for 4 files:
stat_sys_data_connected_3g.png
stat_sys_data_in_3g.png
stat_sys_data_inandout_3g.png
stat_sys_data_out_3g.png
Depending on what rom you're running you might find that they're more files associated with the 3G icon, for example CM7. Your best bet if you don't know what you're doing and just want to switch out a couple of pngs is to use MetaMorph or use this kitchen....
http://uot.dakra.lt/ (very user friendly)
Also, for future reference you might want to use the search feature to find answers like this because of how often people ask and if you do in fact have to post a new thread it is to your advantage to post things like what ROM you're running or if your question(s) is about a kernel then post that as well because it helps for people like myself to answer your question(s).
Oh and here's a site where you can download whatever 3G icon you want and use MetaMorph to apply it to your theme....
www.droidpirate.com/tag/3g/
Don't forget to show the Thanks button some love if I helped you.....

I saw where it also had an apps thing to down load but you can't get rom manager to do it. Had anyone successfully done this? If so, pleasE tell me how, this is the coolest rom ive ever seen. Thanks in advance and happy labor day to everyone!

Been looking amd trying every version and it all does not work woth jellybean. Is there a keyboard similar to this also?
I once was a user of HTC IME, a long time user actually. I switched to SwiftKey, and use the light theme, which looks similar to HTC IME stock. I haven't looked back since due to SwiftKey having far superior prediction / auto correct. Just my two cents, if this doesn't help, good luck on the hunt.

Doubt you will find it. Remember that its a different framework, I've used HTC for years but I'm honestly not sure whether its cross compatible
