[Q] G2 vibrating every 8 seconds after applying OTA package (How to rollback ?)
I update the package manually and it has shown "Success"
The phone is just vibrating every 8 seconds.
I tried several times to make sure my upgrade step is correct.
Recovery to factory cannot solve it.
Does anyone knows how to rollback the OTA?
Already tried "PC10IMG_Vision_TMOUS_1.19.531.1_Radio_12.21.60.09b_26.02.01.15_M2_release_149459_signed.zip "

[Q] Help needed! Telstra Desire w/ 4 excl marks, radio_v2 partition update fail

Hoping you guys can help out. I have a HTC Desire from Telstra (A8183). which was rooted with Unrevoked and running Villain_AU ROM. Randomly rebooting and getting stuck on splash screen, so I was intending to return it to HTC under warranty.
Tried to run stock Telstra Froyo RUU to unroot: _HTC Desire_RUU_Bravo_Froyo_Telstra_WWE_2.26.841.2_Radio_32.48.00.32U_5.11.05.14_release_150162_signed.exe...

Remove/replace the battery and I now have a black screen with HTC logo and 4 exclamation marks in triangles. Re-running the Telstra RUU brings the same result.

Hi guys,
Any suggestions? I've checked a bunch of similar threads and nothing in there seems to work or get me any closer to getting the wife's Desire working again. Please help!

Open android-info.txt in the zip file and make sure your CID is there. Custom ID fail usually means wrong cid.

If you boot your device into bootloader, does it say UNLOCKED at the top? Chances are that it is still locked.
You need to be locked to update firmware.
I don't know if it's necessary but i relocked the bootloader to flash the firmware.
Here are the steps i performed
fastboot oem lock ( to relock the bootloader)
fastboot oem rebootRUU (note the capitals on RUU)
fastboot flash zip nameoffirmware.zip
I then reunlocked and flashed arhd custom rom
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
I have S-OFF and for firmware flash you have to bel locked so on top I have ****RELOCKED**** and Hboot is on version 1.12
Got firmware flashed! Now I flashed recovery and when I booted to recovery I only get blank screen. So recovery is up but no graphics.
Please give more info. Does it just sit on a black screen
Is there anything at all on the screen
Does it just flash black and then carry on booting as normal
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
When I want to boot recovery it looks like it's booting and then it switches to completely black screen. When I press power button long enough i get three flashes on hard buttons on bottom and then phone powers down.
Below is my whole flashing procedure.
I have firmware for cid HTC__001 got it from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376
I took boot image from ARHD 17.1 link and recovery from official link. Did I missed something? or am I doing it in wrong way?

maybe the download of the recovery is defect or corrupt. did you try to download the recovery again and install it?
If I flash same recovery file when I have stock RUU 2.17 on phone it boots normally. So the file is OK.

htc stck ruu

Hello i hope someone can help me out i am trying to reflash the stock ICS rom for my htc one v but i keep getting an error halfway through the flashing saying an unknown error has occured and something about flashing the correct rom. To my knowledge i am flashing the correct stock rom which i have downloaded from http://www.androidfiles.org/ruu/?developer=Primo. Their are 2 roms for H3g ics and i have tried both with the same error. Iff someone could point me in the right direction i would much appeciate it thankyou in advance. Atm i am stuck in fastboot everytime i reboot the phone as i have relocked the bootloader also as suggested in the instructions on how to reflash.
I don't know if its why or not. But you also have to flash the stock kernel and recovery before re locking. You can get these files by first running the RUU. Without doing anything go into your temp folder and you'll see a folder with all the flash images.
The RUU also has to be for your HBOOT/RADIO as far as I know.

If you locked it you cant flash a kernel. It has to be unlocked to do that.
