Hi there.
So I'm currently aware that you can use your PC as a handsfree for your mobile phone if you connect your phone to your PC via Bluetooth and use WIDCOMM stack to run the connection. However, I am hoping there is a way that this same thing can be done via USB. I have a headset connected via USB and my phone connected via USB [cradle] .
Any help is greatly appreciated as I do not want to have to get a bluetooth dongle.
Cheers.

Does anyone know how to use the Artemis via BT as an modem for a Laptop ??
I did try it on my MDA C3 and Win XP SP2 + Widcomm stack.
1. Pair the devices
2. Run Internet Sharing on the PDA
3. On the PC use PAN service to connect
4. You're connected
Works without any problems.

Can you this via the USB cable? but the PC connects via the GPRS connection on the Orbit....?
Jez
Yes you can. Set the Internet Sharing app to USB and connect it to PC. The PC will recognize it as a LAN connection - Windows Mobile-based Internet Sharing Device. It is already configured and ready to use.
I'm using this method as I type.
I don't know if you can use Wi-Fi with Int-Sharing app as I own MDA C3 that has it disabled.

Hi all,
I just bought a bluetooth 2.1 usb micro adapter for my PC. I would like to activesync my Excalibur with my PC. So far, I am able to transfer file from PC to phone and vice versa. However, I am unable to use activesync. The bluetooth from the phone has COM6 and COM7, but my PC only has COM 1, 2, and 3. Anyone know how to make this work, please advice.
Thanks,
I am using TP2 and just have the new build of Android.
After the Android run up , how can I get it connected to PC with USB ?
If you read the port status, USB data connections are not currently supported. Only charging is supported via USB.
thanks for your answers, got it.

Hello there to all xda members from my side first i am a new member on XDA .
I am also facing a problem in connecting to my win7 PC via bluetooth . telling the whole story " i have connected a usb bluetooth to my win7 Pc and with the help of that i was trying to connect my MMX A110 to it to transfer files to my mobile a110 . All bluetooth drivers were installed on the Pc automatically as i connected the USB Bluetooth to it . But Now when i try to connect my mobile to Pc both devices need to exchange a passkey code and there is the problem , the passkey codes never match like pc code is 123456 then on my phone it shows like 456789. I mean that whether i try to connect my Pc to phone or the Phone to PC the pairing code is always different on both the devices so it gives an error saying code entered is incorrect. what should i do guys to solve this plz help .
Thanks in Advance
