[Q] Problem with user dictionary - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
I have a HTC Desire with android 2.2, and I am using Better Keyboard with the Dutch Language Pack in the user dictionary. I have a problem with manually adding words to the dictionary. After some time, it just forgets the words. I have added some screenshots in order to clarify my problem:

I have already reported the problem to the Better Keyboard developers, and they said they would investigate the issue. However, I am not sure whether this is a better keyboard issue, or a user dictionary issue, what do you think?
Have you got a solution for me perhaps?
Edit: not allowed to attach screenshots....

main dictionary broken

Hi everyone.
I recently did the froyo update and I use a multi touch keyboard. I can't remember which one I installed.
Basically my problem is that my dictionary seemed to not have basic words in it like my and the.
I ended up having to add all those words to my user dictionary.
I just wanted to know if there is a way to view the normal dictionary rather than just the user one.
Thanks.

[Q] Changing prediction lang for hardware keyboard

Hi there,
I'm wondering if there's a way to change the prediction language for the hardware keyboard? I have my phone configured with English and French as the 2nd language, and it works great when using the touch keyboard since I can change language at the touch of a button.
But when I use the hardware keyboard, prediction is always in English. Is there a way to switch dictionary language for the hardware keyboard?
Thanks!
I have the same problem. Wonder if this is a bug...
Check out the fix by REDGLASSES in the DEVELOPMENT forum titled [FIX] STOCK KEYPAD UPDATE FOR CYANOGEN, or something like that. I'm sure French is in there,... give it a try.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Mine it's not a keyboard mapping problem but rather a problem with the prediction language.
I have the same problem :
I wanna have a French prediction, but I have just the English one...Unfortunately, my phone is in English/Italian...
Is there any solution now ?

[Q] LeeDroid 3.0.8.2 hebrew keyboard problems

Hey ya'll, so,
I have a problem with the keyboard in hebrew. Instead of showing hebrew letters it shows english. Htc Touch Input didn't have any hebrew keyboard at all.
Also, searched the forum didn't find anything, but this post in the original LeeDroid thread

Hi Lee,
There is a problem with android keyboard, there is a hebrew keyboard but no hebrew letters, when I choose hebrew, it shows me english letters.
Same problem with Arabic(Israel) keyboard.
It is an A2SD rom.

Click to collapse
And no answer to this question.
I've searched for solutions for this one, and the only one I did find is to use keyboards that you download from the market not the built in one, which sucks.
Anyone got any suggestions how to fix this one?
C'mon... Someone?
I don't ask for a step-by-step explaining or a pointing finger for "where to.."
I'm asking only for ideas how it might work, cause ran out of these.
An idea, and I'll find my way to execute it.

[Q] Spell-check with different input/system language problem

Hi!
I've copied this post from another forum user, but I cannot seem to find a solution. Anyone know how to solve this? See below...
Big thanks!

I have a problem with the spelling correction build within ICS. I’ll try and explain as good as possible.
Device: Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Android: Stock, unrooted, 4.0.2
My system setting is set to English while my keyboard/input language is set to Dutch. I prefer it this way since it’s much easier to look up problems and answers with English as a system language then Dutch (should a problem arise, the chances someone has asked it somewhere online in English are ‘a bit’ larger). However most of my texts are to Dutch friends, so the input language is Dutch. So far, so good.
If I mistype a word, the auto-correct does correct the word to a Dutch word. If I type words correctly, the auto-correct does nothing (and rightfully so). However, here’s my problem. The correct word remains correct, however ICS feels the need to underline it in red, showing it’s wrong. Touching the ‘wrong’ word gives suggestions for correct words, all of them in English.
Is there anyone who knows how to have the system language and the input language be two different languages, yet not have the spellcheck use the system-language?
I hope I’ve explained it clearly, such things are always more clear in your own head then when you type them out!
(If this has previously been discussed, my apologies, I couldn't find it)

Words suggestions not working in Marshmallow (non-English)!

I just upgraded my Nexus 7 2013 to Marshmallow and it seems faster and better than Lollipop, but!
I noticed that Google Keyboard word's suggestion is not working in any other languages but English. I use Russian as second keyboard and word's suggestion field just above keyboard is always empty in all the apps! It was definitely working before upgrade and I didnt change any settings after upgrade. I checked Spanish and French and result is the same - no word's suggestion at all!!!
It only works in English for me now.
Auto-correction is not working too!
Could anyone check if his/her tablet is acting same way?
I've spent few hours so far for Language&Input menu with no success at all!
PS Its related to original Google keyboard not third party.
Either no one cared or I was alone with this issue, anyway I want to update on this. It was magically resolved on its own, no changes no reboots were made and auto-correction and word's suggestion just started to work!
