so i have been looking for a theme to flash but cannot seem to find any nothing specified to the phoenix rom anyway does anyone have some links to a wiki or a few themes i can try out thanks in advance.

does this work for random rom 2.2.1 as well as the frozen 1.2 cause i tried the honeyred cause i like red themes and my phone kept reseting and yes i wiped cache and dalvic cache 3x and then flashed and rebooted so.. yea
i mean restarting not reseting...

Not possible unless you flash a custom ROM, and that depends on what phone you are using.
I was afraid someone would say that. What about the animation? I have a great dft rom and it's not going to be erased for the sake of a picture. Would be nice though...

You can't, unless you're using or baking a custom rom there may be a chance. I've seen the ones in HD2 forums and I think those are only modified OEM/carrier logos, not bootscreens.
I remember having this boot animation on my old EVO 4G that was like a computer booting up. Showing the certain components being checked or started and such. I was wondering if that by any chance anybody has seen anything similar for this phone?

During my latest factory resort I did the whole pus volume up + home + power sequence. When I got to theme boot screen I had all the usual stuff but I noticed that at the bottom was the green android guy laying down with his chest open and a red exclamation mark coming out of it. Is this normal?

if i remember correctly(only been to stock recovery once), stock recovery is like that

if you are planning to root your phone, i'd suggest get TWRP recovery instead of CWM, a lot more friendly to use.
