I love the idea of MIUI, however, I don't like the custom icons or having a seperate wallpaper for the lockscreen. So, is it possible to have all the icons stock? And is it possible to have the lockscreen stay the same, except with a transparent wallpaper so-to-speak? If either of those are possible, or you know of ways to make it possible, please let me know
-Thanks

Hey all you themers, I'm taking the first step into theming by attempting to theme my first custom rom. I wanted to know if anybody knows the files/code that would change the app drawer background, the add to home background, and possibly create a 5 column background. This is for Sense 1.0. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
EDIT: Also, how would I go about sharpening the edges on the clock widget? I have the .png, but don't know what I need to do...
Hello guys. I wondering if exist a mod to modify the stock 4 icons on the bottom from 4 to 5 like on galaxy note? Or how i can make to have 5 icons on bottom on stock touchwiz.I don't want to install other laucher because i like the stock one
Use a custom rom(exmega) or use Kitchen aplication.
u might want to try touchwiz launcher 4.5 by fr4gg0r
its a stock launcher but u can modify dock icon arrangement as well raise the dock count to 5
i think its ur best shot with staying true to the original launcher
i use custom rom (check rom v4)

Sense 4 is alright as it is. However, I'd like to figure out a way to skin the current dock bar. Does anyone have a n00b guide out there?
I don't want to replace the Sense Launcher with Nova or Apex, since that'll basically disabled Sense widgets which is not a big deal but since a lot of other elements will remained skinned (in Sense) it would look worse to combine Sense with the AOSP-look
So in short, I want to be able to skin the current dock bar oh and also, does anyone know to replace the icons quick and easy? or are we looking at decompiling the framework-res.apk files and hack away?
Thanks!
I'm trying out Touchwiz again after using AOKP for a while and I'm liking it, the only issue is how can I show the lockscreen before entering my PIN? I want my phone to be secure but I hate not having a seeing the actual lockscreen. Anyway around this? Also, does anyone know how to make the status bar clock font any smaller? It takes up way too much space.

Click to collapse
nothing you can really do about it as far as the clock goes, maybe if you install a smaller font in the display section.
As far as lockscreen before pin, TouchWiz does not have that option, that was only on AOKP and CM9 roms.
If you don't mind a third-party solution, I just checked GoLocker, and it shows the swipeable lockscreen before you have to enter your PIN.
And I agree with abesgs2; your best bet is a new font for the statusbar time.
Maybe you could find a way not to display it through a ROM hack and instead install an app that displays the clock there, but I don't know anything about that.
