In the email app, if I save a draft on my Evo, it doesn't show up in Drafts in my Outlook. All the other folders seem to sync, however (Sent, Inbox, Junk, etc). Is there any way to continue a Draft from my phone and send it using Outlook?

Bump, anyone? Is the draft only saved on the phone?
From my testing with the Stock Sense e-mail app, what you are seeing is what I am seeing. It looks like the draft folder is the only folder that cannot be synced. I will look into this further and let you know.

Hi,
i am using Pocket Outlook with an IMAP server. Is there a way to change the folder where Pocket Outlook stores sent and deleted messages? It always stores them in Sent Items / Deleted Items but i want the folders to be named "Sent" and "Trash" as they are named that way by all the other email clients i am using. Any way of doing that?

Good question
I am facing the same issue. Every time I've sent a couple of emails, I manually move them from Sent Items to Sent. This is definitely not the best way...
Any tips would be appreciated!
How do i set it up so all my gmail folders get synced and not just the inbox?
Including sent emails, trash, drafts, etc
Anybody?
+1 - Also interested in syncing more than just the inbox via IMAP.
I don't even know whether Google Sync (Exchange push) does this. I'll have to check on my wife's phone, since that is how I set her up.
hi guys, not sure if works the same as my exchange email but if it does...
go into your inbox
click menu
click tools
click manage folders
then put check marks in the boxes to the left of each folder
hope it works for u
Or what about System Seven ?
Very easy to use.

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with emails for contacts showing up. What I mean is if you go into a contact and then slide across to emails, it should show all the emails from that specific contact.
This has always worked for me if something was in my inbox, but that makes it nearly useless unless you keep everything in your inbox without deleting it. I use GMail, so I set pocket outlook to also sync 60 days worth of the "All Mail" folder, the spot where all of your email goes after you archive it.
The problem is that while the emails show up under contacts if they are in the inbox, they DON'T show up if they are in the "All Mail" folder. I tried restarting my phone and also waiting in the email tab overnight just in case it took it really long to filter through the emails, but no-go
Does anyone know what to do? This would be a really nice feature if it worked!
New question: has ANYONE here actually gotten that to work?
I've spent a long time trying to get a good system of emails going with my Desire, but every option has issues. I must be one of few people who doesn't like K-9. I won't bore you with reasons here, but just so you know, that isn't currently an option for me until various bugs are fixed.
I prefer push emails and although there seems to be disagreement between some people, the Gmail app does seem to push and be fairly quick, although not usually instant. It's good enough for me though. The stock email client doesn't push and doesn't poll for messages very quickly so is a little too slow.
For my Gmail setup I use IMAP and have my own bin for 'deleted' emails, as I don't want Gmail removing them after 30 days from it's own bin. My PC's client (Thunderbird) kindly places 'deleted' emails in my own folder called MyBin, which Gmail is happy about. However, I cannot get the Gmail app on my Desire to do anything other than send deleted messages to Gmail's bin. I see no option to map the Gmail app's trash to my own folder, or as Gmail likes to say, to 'change labels'. I've looked at creating a filter too but can't see how I'd set that up to just filter messages from the bin and nowhere else.
Any suggestions please? Failing suggestions I'll just delete emails on my PC instead for now. I was hoping to not have to do things like that any more after receiving my Desire though.
I use my phone for work email, and on my computer I have all my incoming email organized into folders.
After setting this up on my phone I receive all the email that comes to my inbox that does NOT go into any of these folders.
How can I make my phone display the email that is received in the folders as well?

Not sure which service you are using to receive mail. If you don't already have it download K9 Mail and use it. Way better than stock email client.
If your using something else maybe this video will help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OMzXS9RR-A
