This is a current theme I started on the vibrant.. I was asked to port it to the i9000.. I don't have an international version but this is based off the international froyo rom ported on the vibrant...
I've started a new overhaul of this theme so when its working comfortably I'll release a more finished product...

Look at your phone, look at my phone, now back at your phone, now back to mine. Sadly your phone isn't mine, but if it stopped using that theme, it could look like mine..

THANKS SO MUCH !
I was the one who requested it
No Go
Just Applied the morph
Metamorph took a while to theme and was going good
asked me to restart because of framework-res and vibrated like it had a force close, then restarted and everything as it was before.
I understand we dont have the same phone
Just reporting the results
Looks good, hope it gets done
Ah... I think I found it... All your drawables have -v4 at the end? So it looked for the wrong folder name...
Just go into the folders inside androidthemes and put -v4 at the end of the drawables then flash the morph.. I think that will work..

In the theme folder go inside the framework-res and twframework-res folder, keep on going until u see drawable-hdpi folder and then rename and add -v4 in the end apply morph

Here's what you have when you get the framework (except transparent power control)
Looks pretty neat

You'd just theme your contacts.apk. Open it up, go into res > drawable-hdpi > launcher icon or something, just copy that image over the current one (keep the same name). I can do this when I get to a computer.

Thanks. I'll see if I can figure it out. Btw, If it's that simple, is it possible you could just change the icons of other apps to these? :
Edit: I'm looking in one of the ROMs I have and I can't find the contacts.apk
If you're looking through a downloadable zip, go into system/app/contacts.apk.
That's a lot of apps. The reason most people don't mess with apps is because a market update reverts their images back to normal.

So I made it a zip, extracted it, and now I change the contacts icon?
How do I make it an .apk again?

So what all programs would a person need to theme an app, if I wanted to change a few icons? Can you do it with 7zip, or do you have to use the apk tool? Yes I'm a noob when it comes to this, but would like to give it a try.

Actually it's not flashable. If you use Nova Launcher, you can replace the icon. If you're on stock, use Desktop Visualizer (widget). Just unzip the file, place it on your sd card and navigate there through DV to change you icons.
doesnt look like you made anything... Most of those icons are picked from google and recolored...
Here are a couple of keyboards a made up, I have only tested them on Juggernaut 5.0, if you want you can try them on other roms. If you do let us know if they work or not. The Android keyboard listed as LatinIME.apk is easy to change if you just want a different background, unzip it and replace the backgroung image.
LatinIME.apk/android keyboard, is the one with the watterdrop background
Axt9IME.apk/samsung keyboard is with the dark background blue keys.
Download and paste with root explorer or other similar ap to system/app
ENJOY!!!!

This is my first post! I love the forum and all the goodies I have received. I apologize if I am breaking rules ( I used to run a forum and rule breaking would grind my gears as well) but I am running CM9A2 which I love and was running an AOKP rom which had the Nexus ICS on screen buttons and was wondering if A3 would contain this option? I have searched to no prevail on any way to make it happen with my current setup. If there is anyway to make it happen with this rom please let me know! I apologize and hope to not get torched if I broke any rules (besides searching first but found nothing to help) and look forward to many more posts and contributions!

AFAIK there is no way to get the buttons on CM9. Just flash the AOKP rom if you want them

I think that is a framework mod not a widget.
Well currently doing the modifications to the cm9 framework seems to enable some sort of tablet notifications which is why my notification bar got bigger, even though I had not touch any other xml settings. Also settings screen ui changes to that of a tablet instead.
I can do the edits, but I cant get the framework to compile right. I have been able to edit all of the ics apps except the framework, it never wants to compile right. Im using the newest apktool, and everything works like it should except working with the framework.
Yeah, I don't think I have enough under my belt to pull this off especially if it modifies more than just buttons. I do look forward to future mods and getting better in this game. I do appreciate the help you have given! Thanks again!

Try using version 1.42 instead if you run into plurals error when recompiling
http://code.google.com/p/android-apktool/downloads/detail?name=apktool1.4.2.tar.bz2&can=1&q=
and use this aapt.exe
http://www.mediafire.com/?0q52u6v8vdkpq1i
Im still getting errors, something about apktool.yml. I dunno, its pissing me off because I can compile everything but the framework. I have tried apktool 1.4.1, 1.4.2, and 1.4.3. I even tried decompiling with 1.4.3 and recompiling with the .jar and .exe from 1.4.2. Still a no-go.

You can push these with adb or what I did was just drag and drop them into a copy of cm9 alpha 3 rom, go into recovery wipe cache / dalvik and flash rom again with out wiping data.
