No, he seems to not get it. He's posted a few times about getting XDAndroid. That's what he's looking for, not a theme. He's been pointed to the thread a couple of times now. It's best to ignore this fellow until he learns to search.

Uhm... we want you to use the search, not post new threads. Using search properly & liberally will mean you don't need to post because the answer is out there.
What I think you are referring to at the beginning of the video is not a theme. Its a custom ROM with Sense 2.5 and some other mods. See the ROM development forum for Rhodium for more info.
Based on your other posts, it looks like you already have the Android port on your TP2. So I don't know why you are still asking how to install it.
Are you asking how to install a theme for Android once you already installed Android? No offense, but your english is confusing.
If a new theme is what you are looking for, then find out what launcher you use,and search for "your launcher's name" and "theme." You can search Google,XDA's android section,or Android Forums, etc. Seriously, though, you were able to find that youtube video and you can't find any themes? Seems kinda weird, dude. Search like I said and really spend a little time. You're lucky you haven't gotten seriously flamed, that's a popular thing to do around here

Dears,
My question is so clear guys .. !!
1- I want to install that theme in the Video .. ?!!
2- I want to install the Android ROM which is in the same Video because which I've installed it's very very slow and it has some problems. I have XDAndroid 2.2. That's it.
Thanks a lot to all of you Guys

1st the beginning of the video the guy is booting up a Tilt ROM. The theme he uses is the one that is skinned into the ROM. THIS IS NOT A THEME TO DOWNOLOAD!! It has an "Android-esque" lockscreen (words used in the video). He also has an Android like taskbar, but this is most definitely WinMo.
2nd as far as the Android ROM. It is merely XDAndroid that he boots up from his storage card like everyone else here. It even shows it boot up and the same exact bootscreen that XDAndroid has. He says it's XDAndroid. The video is from 3 months ago and he says that it is the latest version of XDAndroid, so that leads me to believe that it is.
So, in conclusion you already have this on your phone. Please stop posting. You have most definitely been answered.

I was thinking of posting some of those links, but you beat me to it.
This is also very useful (guide for flashing a new ROM, written for beginners):

But considering the OP seems unable to even read the responses to this thread and folloow the advice he has been given, I doubt he will read any of the links we give him.

You've been given several good answers to your questions. Please go do some reading on the links provided instead of asking the same questions over and over.
1) As I have previously stated (and others also) this is not a theme. You have a misunderstanding of what a theme is. What is shown in the video is a custom ROM, a brand new Windows Mobile operating system (OS) for the phone. noodle21o2 linked some examples of good custom ROMs above, and I linked a beginners guide to install one in my reply above.
2) If you bothered to read the Project Android thread (which you have also been directed to previously) and website, you will see there is a BLAZN version which comes overclocked and runs a bit faster. This may be what you are looking for:
http://sites.google.com/site/androidport/downloads
Thanks a lot dear for this explanation
Dear .. as you said that this is a custom ROM, so how I can install it .. ?!!
I have one more question, if you don't mind?
I would like to know about the following things, and if need it from where to get the tools:
1- How to backup my Stock ROM?
2- How to install a Custom ROM?
3- How to install Hard_SPL and from where I can get it?
4- How to install the Stock_SPL (Warranty Reasons)?
5- How to install the Stock ROM (Warranty Reasons)?
6- How and from where to get sense for my TP2?
I am so sorry for all these question.
Thanks and really I appreciate all your efforts.
Your Brother,
Mulham
The links they gave you answer all of those questions. Just read. Two posts up is a flashing guide for noobs. USE IT. This isn't the proper subforum for ROM flashing, so just read through the given links. Read. READ. (Read)

That's not one more question, that's 6 more questions!
You need to read the guide for flashing custom ROMs which I already provided, it will answer every single one of your questions. Here it is again:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550540
The HardSPL thread is already linked right in the above guide (to download HardSPL, and instruction on how to use it). But here it is also:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=578660
People have already spent lots of time writing these excellent step by step guides, and we've taken our own time to try to help you and link you to these guides. Please take some time tp read them, and try to learn. We aren't going to guide you step by step, when its already been done in the linked guides.
You don't need to backup the stock ROM. If you want to return to stock for some reason, those are posted on the ROM development forum and elsewhere. Here is one good source:
http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=windows%20mobile&model=Rhodium
If you are actually talking about backing up your personal info, like contacts, emails, etc. (which WILL BE DELETED if you flash a custom ROM), than that is already covered in the guide I linked.
PLEASE READ Mulham82 !!!

i was installing a rom and i had some error.
Now i couldnt install any rom.
what i should to do?
please someone help me :/
look
look around the forum for threads about this problem. and it would help if you knew your error so you could search for that particular one.
The first thing you should do is to learn how to take notes so that you can provide information for others to try to help you. I would NOT attempt flashing any more roms until you have mastered that first step. Please understand that your installation of some unknown rom, and then receiving some sort of error message probably isn't going to get many meaningful answers from forum members.
The second thing you should do is read the wiki, and the rules of posting on these forums. The rules will point out the necessity of providing details, as noted in the first step, above. The wiki might explain things you needed to watch out for before you took your first steps to upgrade (maybe too late for them now, but who knows?).
Anyway, good luck with your dilemma. Hopefully, somebody who's got a working crystal ball will be able to provide some further assistance.

Also, dont install roms with vista. It works for some and not for others.
I have used Vista to flash ROMs all the time and never have any problems.

You're the one that have to see the ROMs availlable and choose one that you like. For one people one is the best, but for other is other... Because all ROMs have different softwares, tweaks, etc...
Just follow the link that i gave and see wich ROMs are availlable.
In the same link there is a "How 2to flash" that explains you how to do it...
There is all on this link... PLEASE use it!

Cheers
does anybody have the iphone theme for the wing and instructions on how to do it appreciated thanks
The idea is
1. Read the forum ….a lot first get an idea on what’s what and how it works!
2. Go to the relevant sub section for your phone.
3. Read that forum a lot.
4. Search for the how to update my phone guide via the search function.
5. Follow the guide and then if your not certain or stuck THEN post a help request.
I think you will find that there are many different versions of the rom and you will want try the different ones yourself and see what works for you.
As a rule what one person thinks is the best thing since sliced bread the next will think is a pile of manure you ultimately will need to make a decision and once you have followed a guide (and I do mean follow to the letter) and seen how easy it is to do you will feel less worry about the process.
Have fun
Hello everyone I'm new but not a complete noob, I looking for information on what exactly hboot is and what it does, specifically hboot 2.16.0001. If some one could provide some source code. and talk about it.
Update: 12:42. Not looking to root my phone. I want to know and understand HBOOT. Thankyou "thedudejdog" thats what I'm Looking for.
It's not a rootable phone *yet* . I'm actually sitting here with two of the same people handed me that wanted their phones rooted. I asked if they updated with the OTA....[confused look] "no"
BTW...welcome
(i know i look newb with my stats...i just never post.)
yes, you'll have to wait for a new root method.
i tried to root my buddies phone with the latest ota and it isn't possible right now.
you should never take ota updates
first off, before you get flamed by someone else...Questions go in the question section of the forum. (please post in the right section next time)
with that said,
the source code has not been released yet. So basically you will have to wait till HTC release it
or someone finds a way to root the phone without the source code, which is very unlikely.
3 things:
1. no you cannot root yet if you had taken the OTA (gingerbread update pushed by sprint/htc)
2. yes you are a noob b/c you posted in the wrong section. if you start your thread with [Q] or the title is a question, post it in Q&A not Development. please watch the video that I link to in my sig for reference

http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/278898-android-partitions-kernels-explained.html
a quick google search will explain how carriers/HTC block root and custom roms using ota updates.
Thanks for the really fast replies. I understand that the is not root-able yet. I did not know the phone needs to be rooted to obtain the source code. I'm not looking to root my phone, but my question is development, I want to understand HBOOT and what it does. In this case google is not friendly in resources of what hboot is and what is does.
I didn't, had to do a insurance claim for a broken screen, went to swap the logic boards and its was cracked and warped from falling out of my pocket on my bike on the freeway.

Hello,
I apologize for my bad English at first.
I think this thread title is wrong (like other threads I made), I though there was a new hboot for evo 4g, I have hboot 2.10.0001 and my 16gb sdcard have a compatibility issue that do not let me load an "PC36IMG.zip" file so I thought that maybe can find a fix here.. I solved my problem just installing rom manager and changing to ra 2.3.
I recommend you this thread (I still learning too):

Hey I get it that others want to help but honestly we all do make mistakes but have not noticed the amount of people posting in the wrong place or asking the same question over and over again. I will admit this though one good flaming will make yo a$$ think twice about where you are posting and making sure you search properly.... Hmmm that kinda sounds like what they should of done before posting...
Like I said yes it happens to us all but just like someone taught you how to do things ppl in here feel the need to help others that way... Don't knock it man if you want to help keep on helping but flaming does help as well....
Well lets see, would you like it if your parents "flamed" you for all the stupid questions you asked growing up or would you "flame" your children for everything they asked that was not in what you thought was the proper context? If you answered yes to these then you need help that won't be found here.

Yeah i think that a lot of people that get flamed the first time they post here, even if it is in the wrong section, never post again on XDA because they despise the community and the type of assholes that lurk here.
I don't know what the mods are capable of doing, but one person letting the guy know that he posted in the wrong subforum is all that is needed, and a quick PM to a mod to let them know it needs moved, if that is possible.
And then I think the following posts that say things about it being in the wrong section and prepare to get flamed and blah blah blah, should get deleted and those persons warned.
It would help more people stay XDA'ers
As for the Hboot question. I don't know how to explain it in depth OP, very sorry. I think of it kind of like an emergency recovery. You are able to flash pc36 images, fastboot commands, and boot into regular recovery from there. Beyond that, I haven't a clue the inner workings to it.
Well put skydeaner.

some of you guys need to sign out when you read threads.
Every forum in the world has the same thing, new people signing up asking the same questions. if you dont want to deal with these repetive questions... DONT POST in the thread and just move on and post in threads that actually mean something to you and don't piss you off.
I've been on these forums for years, I just don't post because im already on too many forums as it is.
The OP never said he wanted to root his phone, you guys are flaming him calling him a n00b when really.... YOU are the n00bs talking about rooting.
Read carefully, he was asking about more info on Hboot.
And you can't assume someone stupidly updated OTA to the newest updated , he just got his phone replaced which comes loaded with the newest firmware.
The same thing happened to me and thats why im here, reading and searching around to see if there any way to root the phone.
You guys are n00bs.
Thanks for everyone's help. I was just looking to talk shop about any hboot code, but mostly 2.16, I have some knowledge of programming, and was looking to get my feet wet with android/Linux. Books are grate but for me learning code comes easier by talking shop. I enjoy problem solving, that's why I posted here and not Q/A.
Have to keep rebooting phone
Hello, my problem is kind of weird..
I have a metro pcs flashed Evo...I activated it from another metropcs flashed evo. For some reason, I keep losing bars if I leave it idle and I have to reboot the phone in order to have service. I have to do this like every 5 min. Is there a way to update the hboot and radios so I can re-root it? I know how to do it somewhat, I just can't find hboot 2.15 or 2.16. I need one of those in order to do the unrevoked/revolutionary root (if I said it right) please help. Thanks!

I think you have not need to change your hboot or reroot, instead you should update radio (or combo), pri, nv, etc, but I am not sure 100% because you are on Metro, maybe must to do an extra step.
Please, can you just press "Thanks" button, instead of typing it? Thanks for understanding.
Hello there, my dear XDA community!
First of all, I would like to say thanks, to my dear buddy, mf2112 for passing on me this thread idea,
and helping and being with during while I was doing it
So thank you very much,I'm so thankful to you!!
Second of all
I had to include this one, because i totally forgot about this, and it's really useful
Especially for newbies in here, who wants to make a signature, allready has 8 or
more posts, but they're stuck! Can't find where to make it!
So my dear friends, this is from XDA to you!
"In order to combat spam, we have placed several restrictions on new user accounts, including the inability to use signatures.
This particular restriction is removed after you make eight posts, but please don’t post junk just to raise your post count. (MOD EDIT - If you do, your posts will be removed and you will receive an infraction)
Once you make eight posts, the system will auto-promote your account (this script runs every hour), and you will be able to edit your signature.
You can find this option on the user control panel (accessible at all times in the forums using the “Quick Links” menu item).
If this answer didn’t solve your problem, use our general contact form to email the webmaster."
So let's start!
I've noticed that there is a lot of people going around in here, asking questions
without explain the problem as it's supposed to be explained, and without explaining
what is the model of the phone, what's their ROM in case they're little bit advanced....etc..
You got my point!
So,I'll do my best in making this guide which is supposed to help you making a
great, well informing signature
1.) Let's see what are specifications of my phone
Ok, if you're Android user, and I asume you are..
The best thing to find out what's your phone specifications is:
Looking on back of mobile phone box
in case you haven't throwed it away
There is plenty information, but sometimes not enough..
And also there's informations about your phone in your phone...
Well, that's COOL!
To find informations on the box:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
To find informations on your phone:
Settings=>About phone=>Software information
There they are!
We don't need know any hardware specifications of your phone, expect the
model of your phone..
That's it, everything else about the hardware, we already know!
So in Software informations is written:
Android Version
HTC Sense version (HTC User ) if you're Samsung user, there'll probably be written TouchWiz version
Software Number (name of your CUSTOM ROM)
More (baseband, kernel version, etc.) MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS!
Ok, there's already a lot of informations going on!!
But just one more little step to finding out most important informations for your
signature!
That button, "More" there are informations of:
Kernel version
[*]Baseband (radio) version
[*]Build (base) number
[*]Browser version
We can also add HBOOT (Bootloader) and Recovery version in signature
To access HBOOT (Bootloader) menu on your phone you've got to do this:
First of all, be sure that FASTBOOT is UNTICKED on your phone..
Turn off your phone
Hold volume down button while pressing and holding the power button!
And it should open you screen like this.
If you somehow can't access it with button combination, you can also
download and install QUICK BOOT app from Google Play Store
Which allows you access HBOOT (Bootloader) and Recovery while your phone
is on..
I have to say that that app is just perfect and does her job perfectly!
or
But it's pretty much the same except the numbers
You can see on the first picture is written:
HBOOT:1.17.2008
and in the second one is written
HBOOT:0.35.0017
That's it...now you know your HBOOT version!
Now let's see what Recovery version do we have installed
To access Recovery, you can do it through HBOOT (Bootloader) menu,
Or, with Quick Boot app!
Once you get in there it should be something like this:
Few examples!
These two are 4Ext Recovery!
and we also have Clockworkmod Recovery
So on the 1st picture version is:
v1.0.0.1 RC 2
2nd picture:
v2.1.3
3rd picture:
v2.5.0.1
4th picture:
v2.5.0.7
That's it!
Now we've got our Recovery version written down!
So we've got our informations now!
Now what?
2.) Making a signature on XDA Developers forum
Let's asume that you've got already 5-8 post so you good to go!
If not, read THIS
First of all, login to your XDA account
Next step is...
Enter your USER CONTROL PANEL!
After you entered it, you will get this!
Click on EDIT SIGNATURE!
And that will open you this:
We can make your signature now!
So, let's start!
PHONE: Manufacture and model name of your phone
ANDROID VERSION: Android version of your phone
HTC SENSE or TouchWiz VERSION: HTC SENSE or TouchWiz version
KERNEL VERSION: Write you kernel version
BASEBAND VERSION: Write you baseband version
BUILD NUMBER: Write down you build number!
That's the best pattern of having a best signature!
So what you're going to do?!
You're gonna follow these steps and make yourself a best signature, so
people can help you faster and more efficient!
So COPY/PASTE THESE FEW EXAMPLES IN YOUR NEW SIGNATURE:
Code:
Phone:
HTC Sense:
Software number:
Kernel version:
Baseband version:
Build number:
or
Code:
Phone:
TouchWiz:
Software number:
Kernel version
Baseband version
Build number:
or
Code:
Phone:
HTC Sense:
Software number:
Kernel version:
Baseband version:
Build number:
HBOOT:
Recovery:
or
Code:
Phone:
TouchWiz:
Software number:
Kernel version
Baseband version
Build number:
HBOOT:
Recovery:
And after you did that, just fill it with your informations!
When your're not sure what does it look like, press PREVIEW SIGNATURE
in the bottom of the page and it will show it to you what does it look like
before you publish it.
And there's one thing I completly forgot about it..
Modding your signature, adding different styles, pictures, what ever you want
You can do it with BB CODE !
It's all well explained there, so there no need of C/P it in here!
But when you're over with making your signature, when you're completly satisfied
with it, press SAVE SIGNATURE!
And that's it, YOU'VE GOT YOUR SIGNATURE!
I hope that this was helpful to you,and that you successfully made your
signature.
If you're really stuck, or you don't know what and how to do... contact me,anyhow.. I'll be glad to help you!
Suggestions and improvements always welcomed!
If this thread helped you, please Rate it up at the top of the first post.

By the number of posts without signatures I see on XDA by people with more than 8 posts I think this is needed.
A signature should inform others about your phone when you post a question.
A good signature will include information helpful to others beyond the direct target of the question/reply.
A great signature will inform the community with important information and potentially answer questions which have not been asked yet, avoiding repetitive posts.
Anyone can feel free to copy elements or format of my signature as you like.

Thanks for the alert to this. I'll pass it on and ask for the change.
To the OP, can you add http://www.xda-developers.com/contact/#signatures that to the op? Maybe at the begining, then this thread can serve as a true FAQ.
I'll pass this on. Thank you OP. I'm out of Thanks.

So, on these forums, people are doing voluntary/non-profit work to post their findings and write tutorials to help others. That's ok, it's their choice.
This forum came equipped with a search engine that helps you find information based on what you want. It's great, thank the webmaster for that.
If this forum doesn't have the information that you are looking for you can request it in a nice way, well written, etc. That again, is okay and acceptable.
YOU! You, skipping all those steps and making a brand new thread... just because you can, filling this board up with junk... not even trying to use search or just browse page by page the specific sections... Are simply scum... You think people here should write a tutorial just for you to understand, losing their time for free?
How are mods keeping these threads up? No, really... is it that mods need to respond only to tickets and reports?
Theo said it correctly, I will say it simply .......Search......... really search, then if what you are asking you find no existing threads of help (which is a 1% chance) Then ask, not before
Thread is going nowhere, as such, this THREAD IS CLOSED
