Help Please lost word autocomplete t9 after upgrade and hex edit

Hello Everyone,
I have a slight problem. I have a japanese softbank X01HT which I have upgraded the dopod english ROM to the BLACK 2.5 ROM.
To fix the keyboard characters i.e. to get some symbols like the "," and "." correct I used the registry hack for the japanese keboard on the wiki.
After I did that my characters are now all correct in place but I lost my t9 predictive text autocomplete even though I have set it to predict after 2 letters. I also did a soft reset but problem still persists.
Any help is really appreciated.

Hi everybody , does anyone know how i could change the letter search engine in contacts ? i would like to change them with greek letters .
Ihave all my contacts in greek and i m having a very bud time when i want to find someone

Scrolling through contacts problem

Hello,
I read the Tips & Tricks thread, and saw that there is a tip about the contacts.
Tried it and realized the problem, I am telling you:
When you want to scroll through your contacts -fast- you can use the bar one the left or scrolling by touching the screen with 2 fingers..
I am using greek language for the system and I 've also written my contacts in greek.
But when I tried scrolling I only saw english letters(only some of them, as it shows the letters of the contacts you have inserted - and I have some english written contacts) and not greek letters.
This also happens with the dialer, that we can type the first letters of the contact..It doesn't work with greek contacts..
Is it a setting that I can change?

IME mod keyboard/stock keyboard + gingerbread = problem

Hey Guys
searched the forum but couldnt find anything about it so heres my new thread
using GingerVillain rom with the HTC Ime mod but sometimes cannot repeat the bug, when using the custom imitation of stock keyboard bar, the prediction windows with the words disappear from that bar until i kill the keyboard, i can type etc, but i just cant see the possible correction words, i know its not a big deal but it does get annoying when every couple texts u have to do that.
anyone knows how to solve this?
ps. do you guys know how to get the dictionary working in the stock keyboard? i find it more accurate than the ime mod but i.e. polish dictionary doesnt work

Incoming SMS' not displaying Japanese chars??

Hello, I just purchased this device and I have a problem..
I found out that when a friend of mine sends me an SMS with Japanese characters in it (or with symbols like these ★☆★), those are not being displayed as they should. They are instead replaced by question marks!!
I thought that maybe it was a font problem, but I couldn't find a way to alter the font in my phone without rooting it..!
Do you know of a way to alter this? I couldn't find something that seemed relevant in the options..

Could you be a bit more specific? Which settings are you refering to? There's too many.. Are you refering to the system settings(where to find the one you want), or the settings of the stock messenger app?
Well, Japanese is not supported as an input method of the stock keyboard. That's why I had to download another one which would enable me to write in Japanese.. Still, I could write and send messages with Jap chars, but when I receive an SMS, then I'd just get question marks all over!
Also, any ideas as to the why those other chars are not being displayed? They're not Japanese.. In my samsung phone there's some symbols like ♡♥ºº•○●□■◇◆♧♣▲▼▶◀↑↓←→☆★▪ who ALSO appear as question marks when I send them to this phone!!! :S
