Yes. Just make sure they are not AOSP ones. You should have no problem running the correct kernel.

Uhm what is AOSP?
So should I run the bfs or cfs kernel?

AOSP means Android Open Source Project..... Such as CM 6 and other sense-less roms

New evo Rom.

Quick question. So if I have a new evo with new hboot and I rooted using the s-off method, what roms am I safe to use. I read that it needs to use stock kernel? Does this mean I cannot use cm6? Im fairly new to all of this so I appreciate any advice. Im using fresh right now since it uses stock kernel. What would happen if I used cm6? Just no cam? And if i do need a stock kernel, can i not overclock? I loved cm6 on my hero so I'm just wondering what the deal is... thanks!

Flashing kernels with synergy+godmode

Need advice on how to properly flash golden monkey 1.1 or freedom 0.2 on synergy+godmode. I saw a modified script zip to flash with synergy+ in the freedom thread that works with godmode but its for the 0.1 version. Will this work to flash all custom kernels running synergy+godmode? Just want to avoid any problems/conflicts/bootloops. Currently running mikG 2.41 with golden monkey 1.1. Thanks for any and all advice.

[Q] In need of a kernel that works with MIUI

I'm running a desire bravo that has s-off using alpharev and whatever hboot alpharev uses. I'm going over to the base MIUI from MIUI[dot]US and have a hardware problem that I think is down to the kernel, camera and audio jack isn't working. Does anyone know kernels that'll work with this ROM?
Thanks Dave

think ManU & Tiamat kernels r for cyanogenmod, latest ManU is in Desire Android Development and just Google Tiamat for his site. Theres probably more because its Cyanogenmod but as far as i know they would be the popular 1s.

Then just flash CM7 over.
I have problems with all other AOSP kernels on stable CM 7.2.0.1, after the flash it simply deletes my APNs and I can't configure them manually. I'll probably try to implement some of them in boot.img and try to flash it like that.
I don't have that problems.
Installed stock CM7 krenel i can say, after testing tiamat, ManU kernel, and for me is i think best stock CM7 kernel..
