Menu, settings, applications, manage applications, select xda app, then clear data
All i get is "Uninstall", "Clear cache" which is greyed out and "Clear Defaults" which is also greyed out then "Force Stop" at the bottom?
EDIT: I just tried "Wipe Data" for the XDA app in Titamium Backup but that hasnt made any difference either.
Also tired logging in through my browser on my x10 which works fine and logged out again

Today, I went to the Market to update some of my apps and ROM Manager automatically started updating. Then, the Market forced closed and whenever I try to open it, it force closes again. In my notification bar it says I am downloading three things, and they are all called ROM Manager. I tried a reboot, but no fix. Then I tried killing all apps, which didn't work. Then I tried to turn data off in settings, and it did nothing. xScope automatically now force closes too.
I have CM7 nightly build #26. Any ideas?
Have you tried clearing the market cache?
Menu/ Settings/ Applications/ All Apps/ Market/ Clear Cache

Thank you, that fixed my immediate problems!
However, now when I click "My Apps" in the Market, it only shows my purchased apps, and not my free installed apps. Why is this?

Well, for starters, you just wacked your local market cache.
I believe it refreshes with time (has for me in the past). Give it a day/reboot or two and check again.
I think pronghornrunner is right. They should show eventually but it will take some time.
Aren't thanks guys. No worries then!
Anyone know how to shut this off? I have about 40 apps that are repeatedly trying to reinstall themselves daily. I obviously don't want them to andnindont prompt them to. So annoying. Can I shut this off somehow?

Try going into Settings > Backup & Reset and untick automatic restore.
I have the same issue but unchecking that setting didn't work. Still installing the apps over and over again.

Are you using another app store, like app brain or the Amazon app store?

Nope. Only the android market. I tried clearing the cache and turning off the auto update. The only thing I haven't tried (yet) is a factory reset. I haven't figured out what is triggering it yet either.
Have u tried clearing data from Market and Google Framework Services?
or settings inside app market?...

If you are talking about apps automatically updating, then go to the Market/Menu/Settings and uncheck Auto-Update. And while there, if you don't want to be notified when an app has an update, uncheck the notification check box too.
But be aware that apps are usually only updated to correct issues or to add/improve features.
Good luck.

No, but if I do what other data will be deleted? Google accounts?
You won't lose anything, just delete the data and reboot (you're deleting locally, not from the servers). Account will reset it's self. You may still get the auto download, but once you uninstall they should stay uninstalled...
Hit the settings button in the pull down. Select Apps, use the All tab and the clear data button will be under the apps I mentioned...

Edit: Seems to have worked!! Thanks ya danger rat! (I hit your button)
Anyone who could be so kind to guide me in the right direction on how to restore the searchbar? Hopefully with as little huzzle as possible.
Was fiddling around and managed to deactivate it..

Settings > Apps > All
Scroll down to Google Search, then Enable
Hope that helps
Actually its not in the app list anymore. I lost predictions from SwiftKey aswell. Tried to run the googlesearch.apk from system. This fixes the SwiftKey issue, but still no searchbar.

What Will T said is correct. I can suggest that you scroll to the bottom of the 'All' apps list and you should see it there. That list is sorted with disabled apps at the bottom.
OK I got it fixed now. But to clear things up if someone else encounters the same problem as me:
In the app list, google search only gave me the option to "force stop" and "remove installed updates" aswell as "remove data". I was not given the option to "enable" it again. Tried to install from system and reboot with no effect. Tried to force stop the app and then suddenly the enable option appeared.
Is anyone else running Chrome Beta? For some reason when I go to settings the app crashes.

Yeah, that was happening to me too. Clear the Data from Settings->App-Google Chrome Beta
On your PC go to your Google Dashboard and
In the Chrome Sync section, Stop Sync and Delete Data from Google
Following the instructions at
http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1181035&topic=1693469&ctx=topic
to disable encryption and then re-enable encryption using either your Google password or a new paraphrase.
I'm pretty sure that those were the steps I took to get rid of the FC but I can't remember totally as I was really sleepy. Either way, I'm not getting that issue any more.
I tried this a few times without success. I was able to access settings immediately after signing in with the link at the bottom of the screen, but couldn't get to the settings through the menu

Same here...I just use either Maxthon Browser or Dolphin HD browser....they are both good...hopefully the Chrome will be ready soon.
I never got it to work. I even tried deleting my app data and going to settings without logging in and it locks up.
I recently started having a weird issue in Chrome and Chrome beta. When i open multiple tabs, chrome only displays one blank tab at the top. Screenshot attached. I've had the issue across multiple ROMs and I've tried doing a fresh install (rather than using Titanium Backup). I couldn't find any threads with a similar issue. Any ideas?
Also, before you ask, the tabs are not in the recent apps section.
Have you tried clearing the app's data, uninstalling, and reinstalling?

Yep, I've tried that. No luck.
Is there any update to this problem because I have the same issue. How do you enable tab overview??
Try another version of chrome.
