[Q] Building a Sense kernel from HTC's official source

Hi guys
Could anyone tell me/point to a guide about how to build a Sense kernel? I plan to build a kernel from HTC's official source at http://developer.htc.com/ but I've only found guide(s) on how to build an AOSP kernel from Pershoot's source - could anyone help me out?
(It'd be for Froyo of course )

What will be a good kernal to use on android 2.3.3??? I have the rom called Mik Z v. 1.16 with HTC Sense 2.1

Once HTC Releases the source code for the new kernel, the kernel geniuses will be able to dev a new release. Until then, we're stuck with the stock kernel

Why S/E still on Kernel 2.6.32?

Anyone as know why S/E, is still on kernel 2.6.32?.
Everyone else is running 2.6.35 with GingerBread.
I've read that it has a great importance with newer kernel

In fact, the Linux system is already on 3.1.5 (stable)

Gingerbread Kernel 2.6.35
Honeycomb Kernel 2.6.36
ICS Kernel 3.0.8
I hope S/E update kernel to the newest, this time.

now that we have the sensation xl kernel 3.0 source code why dont we compile any kernel for the desire z?
we share same chipset
