[Q] HTC Mondrian mobile sync issue - Windows Phone 7 General

Hey guy's any idea where to get the drivers for the HTC Mondrian mobile to connect to the windows 7 x64 cause currently it says unidentified on the usb, i read somewhere that you need Zune 4.7 to connect/sync to the phone... hope some one can shed some light.
thanks in advance!

Yes, that's correct. You need Zune 4.7 which as of now is only available on the Microsoft Connect site and requires permissions.

Thanks for confirming

Sync problems with more than one PCs

good morning.
I have an HTC HD for over a month now.
I had been syncing it in both my pc (windows VISTA business), and my laptop (windows VISTA business).
I have had no problems in syncing until yesterday. Now, after I sync it with my laptop my pc cannot recognize my HD when I connect it.
Does anyone has a hint on this? How can I overcome this problem?
I use windows mobile device center in both cases
thank you

Smooth sync with outlook

Im going to get my htc hd tomorrow, and wonder wich is the easiest way to sync my phone with outlook. I want to sync with calender and email not contacts.
Sync should be like, Home Computer <-> Phone <-> Work .
If i make a change somewhere all 3 should be updated,
I run mobileme now and thinks it works great. So something like that would be great.
Any ideas?
If you use VISTA, use the integrated Mobile Device center to sync, it is an updated version of Active Sync wich you should download when u use XP. Both are from Microsoft and are free and easy to use. When connecting your HD touch the first time, you can easly set up what you want to sync.
Perfect, i try that tomorrow.
A small tip:
When I first tried to sync through Mobile Device Center, it didn't recognize my HD. Turned out it was my Vista that I never update (I have my reasons ). After I donwloaded and installed all updates, Mobile Device Center instantly recognized with my phone.
That's right! But I think Vista wil auto update the driver needed for the HTC when you connect your device...
I'm having a problem with this. I run my laptop on Vista, but when I connect my Touch HD the laptop seems to know that it's there but the Windows Mobile doesnt and I can't connect or pair my phone.
HELP PLEASE! I don't know how I can get it to work! Thanks in advance.
Cindy
i'm having the same problem cindy but with my pc running vista after i installed the new rom on my HD from the htc site did you solved it already?
thanks louis

Vista Home not working with HTC Sync

I have Vista Home and I installed HTC Sync using the .exe file that was inside the SD card supplied with the phone. But I have no joy getting this to work and so I cannot sync my Outlook contacts and calendar. The phone shows "cannot find HTC Sync on your PC and.. etc" When I looked into Control Panel/Device Manager I can see that there is a big yellow exclamation mark under Android USB Devices which reads "Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)".
Any joy from anyone to sync your contacts and calendar ? thanks Peter
of course it works, take the .exe and right click on it & choose properties...
you now see a tab "compatibility" en you can choose to run it as XP with service pack 2 ...
now it have to work properly.
Its very usefull onces you know it.
otherwise you can look for the programm "the missing sync for android"
good luck
Are you using the latest version of Sync - same as that available from HTC's website? I'm running Vista Home Premium x64 without compatibility and it's running fine.
After installing HTC Sync on the PC, you also have to switch the Desire from charge mode or USB disk mode to HTC Sync mode. Failing that, have you got a firewall/AV package which could be blocking it?
same issue
I've got exactly the same problem, did you fix yours? any tips?
HTC Desire Sync Problems
I'm new here so forgive any duplication.
I am having the same problems with the HTC Sync .exe, Vista Home Basic and the Device driver incompatability.
It has been a while since the last post to this thread and I was wondering if anyone has found a solution to the above problems. I hope so as it is driving me mad
Hi, I bought my Desire last Saturday, and it synched flawlessly with my Windows7 64bit notebook.... but that is not my pc -_-
My pc is a Vista Home Premium 32 bit, and I encountered the same exact problems that some mentioned in this thread... did any solution come out to solve it? Or Vista HP 32 owners are going to be disappointed?
Sorry for the double post, but I think I have good news
Trying again after I updated to Vista Service Pack 1, the "My HTC" device was installed perfectly, and connecting the phone to an USB port on the rear of the PC, the sync worked as a charm
I hope this will be helpful to someone, bye!
I also have a problem with HTC Sync on my laptop running vista 32 bit. I've installed it in the past but when it's installed it seems to interfere with my internet connection, basically slowing the connection down, it's as if it's stopping then starting over and over again. For example if im downloading or using youtube it will download a bit then hang for a couple of minutes or hang forever. Then when i uninstall Sync the internet is fine again.
To be honest i don't really use Sync but i'd like the option to be able to use it without messing up my internet.
Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

adp driver for windows

Just want to point out a flaw, but also ask for help. I have just moved into a new house which has no internet. I have a good data plan on my desire and great reception, so I thought I would try using the internet share option when using usb connected to a Windows 7 pc. Windows says it can't find a adp driver.... how stupid. Does that mean the computer needs to be online to download the driver before you can share the internet?
I don't have heaps of downloads on my phone plan so can't download the android sdk as o have read elsewhere as it has the driver.
Any help?
Maybe you should change your alias to OfflinePredator ;-)
Sorry. Couldn't resist...
simu_lacrum

Well, HTC Sync is usually supplied on the SD card that comes with the phone!
Regards,
Dave
why don't you try pdanet...i think it has the driver but the htc sync is your best bet.
Lol @ offlinepredator call. Good one ;-)
HTC sync from SD card worked. Thanks guys. Pdanet did not have the driver, I tried that before.

Internet Sharing Android Driver For Windows

Trying to connect my PC to the Internet via EVO's Internet Sharing option, and Windows is prompting me for "Android Drivers".
I obviously don't have internet access on my PC to allow Windows to check for drivers online so I'm screwed.
Does anyone know what this Android Driver is and where I can find it? I could download it from a friends computer if I'd knew.
Nevermind. I got it.
Care to share?
Guess not. xD

I think this is for windows xp only as vista/7 should already have the driver.
This guy is a douche. Probably blaming the phone for this too.
