I like more the calling/Dialing application the mytouch slide has before its rooted to cyanogen 6.0

Now, to answer your question:
You can't use the stock dialer with any of our current 2.2 ROMs. I'd suggest Dialer One from the market.

As I said, you will not be able to use it with CM6 or any of the other Froyo ROMs.

I am on a stock rom, with root, running 2.6.32.27 incredikernel. Downloaded the Speedtest app tonight, tested the speeds several times-- and always had the upload higher than the download. I don't know how to take a screen shot, so for now I'll list my speeds:

197k - 908k
243k - 869k

Yes, which is how it usually is-- I'm getting my uploads faster than my downloads though.
I have the same problem. Speedtest is always saying my upload is higher than download.

Mine used to do it then I did the uncapped data mod and it fixed it for me. Basically some people believe Verizon will slow down your speeds after awhile.

Hi all,
I recently switched from my Dinc2 to another phone which for now shall remain nameless , I listed and sold my phone on eBay and I had it rooted, I returned the phone to stock 2.2.1 via Jcase's guide on rootzwiki. I now am having trouble getting the phone to update, to what I believe the newest Verizon build is 2.3.4? Correct? The phone is deactivated but I have a working wifi connection. Any way this is possible? Via RUU, PG32IMG, other methods? Thanks in advance.

We do not have an official 4.0 yet. We have an experimental rom and judging by your question, I would suggest not diving into it. As for unnamed rom, it is a totally separate rom and would replace your 4.0 rom, if we had such a thing.

i was having the ''ouch'' problem, but this cleared it right up, thanks!

Had root, went back and forth between GB and ICS... had some problem unrelated to ICS and unrooted to OTA ICS to take phone in for some work
So I'm unrooted running the OTA ICS 4.0.4 and can't get GPS to work worth a flip... I've searched and all I can find is the fix where you go back to GB, get lock and then flash back to ICS... But I'm not rooted and don't wanna bother with it right now.. Is there something I can do to just make it work??

Nah, I hadn't seen that yet... but I was hoping for some sort of fix where I didn't have to do a bunch of flashing and re-rooting...
But I'll def give this a shot if I can't find another way.. thanks

He used it in his aokp rom that I been running....no GPS issues here. Give it a shot, just a zip flash in cwm.

Sounds the same as FreedomPop, yes the process will be the same and you can install ROMs with no problems

Yep just make sure you update your Profile and PRL in System Updates and install the app after flashing a ROM.
Sounds like you've gotten everything you needed but I feel I should still point out, just for reference to you and anyone else - The phones from Enflick are the exact same as the original models from the carrier, the only thing added is the ad-free TextNow app from Enflick. Enflick even has them pre-rooted before they ship them to you. Or at least all 4 of mine were.
