I have Tytn 2,android and I wanna unlock it.
My Hardspl isnt working (Reset power and camera).
Ive got my unlocking code from my provider.
Guides says that when u put 3rd party sim It will open a box that youll need to feel with your code that you got from your provider.
I cant get that box to show up when I insert a 3rd party sim.
Is there a way to show up this box?
Is thers a way to convert it to combo that you put on your dailer.

Not gonna happen unless you can convince t-moble USA to give you the unlatching code for free.
The handset is 2 years old now! No - one is going to develop a 'free' unlocker for a 2 yr old, low selling, single market handset. Check ebay, you can get the codes for as little as $25 from sellers in the US based on your IMEI. Other people's codes will not work.

I just sold mine unlocked on ebay recently. The above user is correct. Since I had a contract with T-mobile, I called them and said I was giving the phone away to someone with Cingular service. The tech support rep took my imei number and emailed the instructions and code within 24 hours.
Who is your carrier now/Who did you get the phone from. Ask them if they still have a T-mobile contract to get the code for you. T-mobile gave me mine although I bought mine from someone else.
IIRC you also need an old t-mobile US sim to turn the radio stage on to enable you to enter the code otherwise it won't accept it?

You can unlock it without T-mobile sim card but you need a sim card from any provider ( must be active ) . better is use the sim you wanna use with this fone after unlocked
If you wanna have unlock code, why don't search and Buy it on ebay? i see that only about 30$ each unlock code and you'll get code within 24 hours

ebay have feedback system so you can sure code will works or you can give seller negative feedbacks and request refund
If you already have unlock code ans sim card but when you input code, it always said that " unlock code not accepted, you have tried...." You must update your ROM version . It's worked well . I'm already tested with 8 customer who have problem like this
I see your problem serveral times. This is cause of your phone's rom missing ( about 5% hp 6315 got this problem)
This problem can easy solve with this ROM update ( ROM v1.00.38 )
This rom update will remove all T-mobile logos and sofware and your 6315 will become OEM 6315

1. Unzip/Extract it using your unzip program (i.e. WinRAR, WinZip, 7zip, etc...)
2. Place the h6315 in cradle. connect it to USB and charger
3. Double click on the hpRUU.exe to run the program
4. View the Readme and if you wish to proceed Agree to the Terms and Conditions
5. Click Next
6. Click Next again to flash the device with the new ROM
7. Sit back relax and grab yourself something to drink while it handles its business
If you got laptop, should ,best is do it in laptop ( prevent electric out )
After rom update finish, just input the code like before

I use a non-active old t-mobile US sim to enable the radio. Any non t-mobile sim comes up as 'unkown sim status' like in the first post ,and will not allow you to activate radio to input the code.

I have an orange i780 which was locked to orange. I have flashed the i780 with an official Samsung wm6 image. However the phone is not unlocked. It also dosen't accept an Orange SIM anymore.
The ROM that i used was called i780MSHC3_UKENG_PDA.rar .
Do I need to get an orange unlock code for this phone?
Also does anyone have an official orange ROM?

yes u need unlock code.u dont need to pay for unlock code.if u search google u can find unlock codes for i780.then u can download any rom you want.

I have already flashed the phone.
When I put in an unecogised sim in the phone it shows the exclamation mark and flashes up the enter the keypad and tells me that I can only make emergency calls without a pin. It then turns the phone off within 1 second. 15 seconds later the question mark appears it displays the keypad again. This jus keeps going on and on.

this afternoon, i finally get a network code for my p552.
unfortunately, my operator support (orange) doesn't have a valid procedure to set the unlocking code...
First problem, the length of the code which is 10 in my case and 8 within the procedure...
Then, when i try another simcard from another network, if i set my pincode, nothing happens, except i don't have any network connexion available (which is normal, as my phone is locked on orange network)...i hoped a popup or something would give me access to a form to enter the unlocking code.
I think there is a way to enter the code with a special manufacturer code like *#12345678#unlock_code# (or something like that....)
So, if anybody here has already unlock an Asus mobile phone (not especially the p552), it will be very nice to give me a procedure so i can test it on my phone with my own unlock_code.

1. Power ON your phone with a not allowed sim card (one that didn't come with the phone)
2. Type *#865625#SIMUNLOCK CODE (provided by your operator) - without clicking on the "call button".
3. A popup will appear telling you it's done.
And now, to fully take advantage of your new simcard :
wait some moments
OR switch to plane mode and to phone mode again, type your pincode
...And it works!

And you can't go to the shop and ask for the instructions?
Because instructions provided by both stores and customer services are erroneous...
Everyone who owns this phone, experience the same problem, and there is no known solution right now as technical services from orange are not qualified enough to solve it and guys from asus support won't help us as orange is the official distributor.
In short, right now, we're screwed.

Is there any way to input an unlock code without changing the SIM card?
I have an S620 and I've purchased the unlock code from T-mobile I've not yet got my new Vodafone SIM card but I want to unlock it so its ready when my SIM arrives.
Is there any sequence that I can put in to unlock it?
I know that on the Nokia you can the # and * key thing then input the unlock code and you don't need to change the SIM to do this.

I have a HTC S620 that is locked to T-mobile network.
I have 3rd party security software on the phone so when I insert my Vodafone SIM an switch it on the screens flicks between the security software and the unlock code text box.
Is there any way to unlock the device with the T-mobile SIM still in the phone?
I have recently unlocked a Nokia device by inputting the +pw etc and the unlock code.
Is there a sequence I can follow like this for my S620?

I've had a look at that thread but it seems to be some guy that can give you the unlock code.
I actually need to bring the text box up without putting in a new SIM.
I've already got the code I need to put in.
There must be some way of making the text box appear without putting in a new SIM. It must be part of the firmware and should have some way of making the program run.
I've also contacted HTC tech support to see if they can help. But if anyone knows how to do this please let me know asap.
If HTC come back with an answer I shall post it on here.

I know it's easy to unlock it, simply just get another sim from different courier and insert it....and just put the unlock code when required. The only problem...most of my friends are on Voda....and even I have friends who are from different network, they dont use nano simcard. And I dont want to trouble too much of my friends. So if there is a simple way I can do it myself.....that would be great....

Get a Pay as You Go ... Just get the sim and don't even top it up .. that'll do it
