So has anyone bought a silicon like case yet. I have been hoping someone would have put up a review for a case by now. So if you have bought a case for the aria where did u get it? And how good is it? Brand-name? Price? Etc.
Thanks in advance!

Got a case from at&t store its great in quality. already droped a few times with no issues. I think its the htc brand one. It cost like 20 bucks but its tougher and firmer than most silicon style cases ive seen. Also not as sticky as most so it slides in your pocket easier. Although its still sticky when its 92 degrees out like it was today.

The Amzer silicone one provides good protection but is bulky and does not fit snuggly on the phone. I could imagine the phone slipping out of the case to indicate how loosely it fits.
When I picked mine up from the AT&T store, they had a pretty nice soft shell case for $25. It was nice looking, fit the phone well (I almost couldn't get the thing off), and looked like it would provide decent protection. I skipped on buying it, however, since the price seemed a bit steep.
i just went to the ATT store today and they had a glossy black (maybe gunmetal) hard case for the aria, it was 25 bucks and i didnt feel like spending that much when i could get the same online for cheaper, but it did look nice.
didnt get a chance to put it on the phone though.
also, it was in a package that said soft case.
I love how this phone feels like it already has a case on it! I haven't dropped the phone (yet, thankfully) but If i did i would be too distraught. I just want to be able to buy a replacement back cover (OEM) for less than $30.

yeah, it is the case that says HTC on the back, and its the only one they have. its horrible, and very troublesome to unlock the phone.

It's a nice hard-ish version of your typical silicone case. It's actually really good and sturdy and my only gripe is that it's a pain to unlock it.. so I use No Lock, which allows you to unlock the phone with any button...the optical touchpad has become my new best friend
AS ANYONE TRIED USING A HD MINI SILCON CASE, OR DOES ANYONE KNOW IF IT WILL FIT. aS WELL AS PRESSING THE UNLOCK BUTTON. damn caps lock sorry

The Amzer silicon case purchased actually says HD Mini on its packaging. It is quite a loose-fitting case. The one from AT&T, which is more of a plastic smoke translucent case, fits very snuggly with the only downside that it's $25. It says HTC on its back and the silver HTC logo of the phone itself shows through nicely.

Don't have the case anymore, but you can fit an index finger between the case and the phone without much effort.

I just bought my wife a case from pdair for the hd mini and it fits great. The have a number of good colors and its snug as a bug.
It's a very durable silicon skin. Comparable to the one from at&t but its actually easier to push the buttons with the pdair case. So its confirmed for me: hd mini cases work great for th aria.

Hum.. I'm thinking about picking one up. I wish Otterbox had a case for the Aria. I'm prone to dropping my phone, so I want something that will protect it from at least minor falls.
I'm looking for a belt clip holster for my Captivate. I want one that holds the phone horizontally, and something with a magnetic flap. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I found one at Best Buy that fit with the soft Body Glove case on. I think the name was Rhino-case or something like that. I'm probably going to keep looking, the belt clip on this one isn't all that great.
I saw one like your talking about on one of the forums. It was an OEM holster that had a metal tag on it that said "Galaxy S". I haven't been able to find that holster for sale OR find the originally forum article where I saw it
This is what I ordered yesterday off Amazon. Just got shipped, so I haven't personally examined it, but it fits the description of what you need.

Rajendra, I bought something similar off ebay a while back for my last phone, and the leather around the belt clip started ripping after 2-3 months of use. I'd really like something that's going to last at least a year or two, if not longer.

It looks very wide to me - for a thicker phone. Much like a lot of the universal cases.
I have the body glove case from AT&T and with that, it fits pretty nicely into the spring loaded holster case for the Droid X from Verizon! Lol

Best case, IMHO, is the Case Logic ITEM # CLP403SPH.
Simple clean lines, fits like a glove, black leather with contrast tan stitching and suede tan inner lining.

Here's a little video... Sorry I was too lazy to find my camera so the closest thing was an Ipod Nano lol
One thing that does worry me about this is that the screen has to face out so it can be pretty nerve racking if you bump into things a lot...
You can make the screen face in, but it won't fit if you have a case on. It also doesn't feel so secure.
One of the main reasons I like this though is that I can keep it secured, out of my pocket, and I can still leave my earphones on it listening to music! (I messed up quite a few earphones jamming my devices into my pocket with them plugged in)

I just had to see if I liked the holster you were talking about so went to the store and asked for it. It was in the back and when he came out had a different one. I like it better and the face is in.
All it says is " shell/holster combo". of course I only used the holster.
29.99 cost. Works right though with the body glove on. Solid too.

I got this delivered from Amazon today. Seems very well made for the price, and fits the naked Captivate perfectly. Unfortunately it is way too tight with the body glove on, so it's either one or the other.
Oh nice! I really like the spring loaded feature on mine, but I think it's more important to cover the face! Lol.
Can you still plug in earphones with it clipped on the case? Is it also really easy to put on and remove?

yes it is. I wonder if just the belt clip is available separately? Don't really need the cover. Might be cheaper. Like me.
I moved from a Tilt2. I have been using a Palm Treo case since my old Tilt. While looking for a case, I used the Treo case with the Body Glove cover. I was planning to use it until I found a better fitting case. It was too tight a fit to use.
In the past couple of days, the case has been forming it to the phone and now it fits perfectly. I buy these things a couple at a time so when they wear out, I have another. It looks like I'll be using this case until I cannot find it anymore.

Hey guys, i got this in a few days ago so I can verify it fits the MOTOROLA DROID X not the Samsung that the description says.
You can even tell by the part # that it is made for the DROID X. Why Verizon has it screwed up I dont know, but it is the ONLY face-in snap-in holster I have found.

That's the one I had, it's made by Amzer. It doesn't protect the top of the device either. Mine fell out of the holster and dinged up the top of my phone.

I work at an auto parts store so im constantly moving around, brushing up against greasy things or crawling under people's cars so I need some protection for my phone. How is the quality of the case?
Also, does the case wrap around the front of the phone? I mean if I lay the phone face down will the screen touch or will the case protect it?
Yes, the case does wrap around the front enough to keep the glass off the counter when you lay it down. Both the shell and the hoster are rigid with a rubberized feel.
It doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone like some cases I've looked at, so the phone is pocketable when you want to go without the holster.
I picked mine up in my Verizon store, so would recommend you stop at one and ask to see it on an X.

Yes i have this holster. Just picked it up yesterday. And it seems secure and I liked the look and the feel of it in my hand. Just didn't like that it left the top of the phone exposed. In the holster its protected though. Its when you take it out it seems like it could possibly get dinged at the top of the phone if it fell. Otherwise it seems pretty cool. Im looking to see if someone comes out with a holster that includes complete coverage of the phone and holster combo. I think they didn't cover the top because the antenna is located there. Not sure but just a theory.

ive never used one, so i ordered one to try out
I had one for my old blackberry, and one for my eris, loved them both. I def plan on getting one for my D2.
I am returning my Otterbox Cummuter case. I was very disappointed with the fit of the top part of the case. It leaves a big gap on the lower left side, and when you slide the keyboard out, you have to push on that flimsy part. Seems like bad engineering. I think it would get snagged in my pocket also. I will be going back to the Seido Innocase - seemed a lot better after comparing the two.
Review thread @ droidforums.net /forum/droid-2-accessories/115571-droid-2-otterbox-commuter-case-review.html
I don't have any issues with my commuter case, but I will agree, I am disappointed with the build quality of it.
I have had Otterboxes for two of my Blackberries and had absolutely no problems with them. So I recommended the Commuter to my buddy for his Droid 1. The top part immediately broke within a couple days. He called Otterbox who happily replaced it for him. The second one immediately broke. When he called back they actually told him they know there is a problem with the Droid Commuter cases. However, they have no intension of stopping the sale of a bad product. I'm assuming the Droid 2 cases will most likely have the same problem. So I'm steering clear.
Just my 2 cents. I was a fan of Otterbox until they burned my buddy.

I've heard of people having issues, however I've had mine for a while. When I'm out and about its in my pocket. I've dropped it (onto a hardwood floor) once. I personally have had no issues with it...Except that it wont fit in the home dock or vehicle dock
Speaking of docks. I bought the really thin snap on case Verizon had in their store. I was thinking of getting a dock for my office. Does anyone have experience using just a regular droid2 dock with a case (before I run out and buy one?)

Here is an interesting idea...in my search for the best cover/case, i have purchased at separate times both the otterbox and the verizon cover for the Droid2. IM now using the otterbox back, cuz it looks cool, and the verizon front because it fits better than the otterbox front. So far im liking my setup.
So I'm browsing through the electronics section at Wal-Mart looking for a wireless mouse and I happen to stumble upon a new case for our phone. At first I'm thinking, "Oh, so now we have an Otterbox Defender!" Then I look at the box and it's a Body Glove!
I looked online for this case, but cannot even find it on the Body Glove website. I took a few pictures of it. It looks pretty good. It's a little bulky, but not too much. Very sturdy. The case is three parts - two for the inner hard plastic and one for the outer rubber-like shell. It's much easier to install than the Otterbox cases, but really feels just as protective - for less as well (paid less than $40). I said "Defender-like", so yes it comes with a holster - and it's almost identical to the Defender holsters.
Have any of you guys seen this case in any local stores? It feels like a pretty good one.
I haven't seen one in stores yet...because i have not been looking for one. I will see if i can find it...

Apparently this is very new. Military tested specs, and it feels and looks much better than the Otterbox. I'm using a Thunderbolt for work with the Otterbox Defender. They look similar from a distance, but the look and feel in your hands is not even close. They also had one for the GS3. After several days of use, this has to be the best looking, best feeling, sleekest (relatively speaking, of course) heavy duty shock resistant case I've owned (and I've owned quite a few over the years).

Got this today and just luving it. Had the Body Glove Diamond white case before and it was a good quality but the Tough Suit case is perfect. Not too thick, built like a tank, this is the new batmobile from Christian Bale's Batman Trilogy if the other thin and slick cases are the stealthy slick batmobiles from the past xD
How are the buttons? Are they nice and tactile or stiff and mushy? That's what's bugging me about the D30 Impact case. The buttons are way too stiff and mushy (and before someone says I should hit the gym, I'm no chump. I can press them just fine, it's just annoying).
