Hey, I just replied to you in the other thread I made about the same issue.
The stock 2.2 flash was able to fix my problem.
I lost all of my data and programs, but if you have mybackup you can put them right back after the flash is done.
I think my problem came taking off something I shouldn't have with system app remover.
Everything is working now

Phone won't make or recieve calls!!! Please help!!!

I've had my Tilt 2 for about a month now. I've tried 4 or 5 different ROMs now, but i've come across a problem all of a sudden that wasn't fixed by a hard reset or flashing the stock ROM back. The phone all of a sudden doesn't work! I can still send and recieve text messages just fine, but the phone doesn't work. It says "Dialing...," sits there silent for a few seconds, then beeps 3 times and goes back to my recent calls list.
Beyond this, I have also not been able to get the text message announcements to work on any ROM except for the stock AT&T ROM. I get the same result with all of them, having tried combonations of several different ROMs and three different copies of MSVC. Now matter how I try MSVC will announce my emails, but not my text messages, which happens to be the exact opposite of what I want. Anyone know how to fix this? A registry edit, maybe?
Also, I have tried several different copies of HTC QuichGPS on these cooked ROMs and they all give me an error when I try to run the program. It says something to the effect of "certificate not being signed...one or more missing components..." Is there a particular version that I need to install, or is Advanced Config not really turning off the certificate security?
Any help with any of these problems would be greatly appreciated, the phone in particular being a higher priority of course. Thanks in advance for any help provided.

No, not yet. I was using the Black ROM. had other issues, so switched to another ROM, then phone went out, so i went back to the stock ROM. i don't remember which one, but one of the ROMs flashed a radio, then the stock ROM flashed a radio again when i reverted back to it. i'm at work. is there anywhere i can get a new radio that IS NOT from a filesharing site? my work computer won't let me visit filesharing sites.

Which radio do you want? I can download it and e-mail it if you want to PM me your address
smells like your machine has some problem itself.

ava9 question

So i flashed a ROM for the first time today and i thought all went well. I DL'd ava9 and installed to root of sd card. When i was done rebooting everything looked ok. I was attempting to sign back in to my google account and it keeps saying i have no connection. I can make and recieve phone calls but i no longer have the 3g or 4g icon at top of screen. Not sure where or what went wrong. I did make a backup so im not too worried but would like to try and resolve this problem. Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT*** Problem fixed

I have seen several posts that users have installed Handcent SMS (free) from Play Store to get around this issue.

^^agreed, Its a crappy problem but without looking at your particular phone i'd never be able to solve it. If a google version of sms doesn't bother you then go for it.

Without know what "almost everything" there isn't much to suggest...
Can you send MMS?
Cab you make a call?
Did you clean flash?
Is it only on that ROM?
Is your imei still there?
Did you check your APN settings?

Just had to flash back to Stock since i couldn't quite get it right. I Could make calls, i checked my APN Settings and everything looked normal,my Imei was still there but i never tried sending MMS(although i knew i couldn't receive them). If i ever wanna flash back to this Rom(not sure if i did it right the first time) any good tips on how to do it correctly without having this problem again? Thanks.
without knowing what caused the problem we can't tell you anything new to help you prevent it.
you're going to keep hearing "clean flash, full wipe, see if the problem's there still" because we don't know everything about your phone and what could be causing your problem, and a full wipe solves many problems.

i Used both ChompSMS and Stock messaging. As Of right now Everything appears to be working im Able to send and receive (FOR NOW, Atleast) ... Earlier i went into CWM and WIPED ALL DATA (Factory Reset and Dalvik Cache) and Rebooted my phone. Not sure if thats what got it to work... but usually the MMS stop working (from what ive noticed). Will continue testing Sending\Receiving mms throughout the day. Thanks. Ill be back if problem Re emerges.:good:
***UPDATE. Spoke WAYYY too soon, Problem Persists -__-**

This may sound tedious but I'd reinstall an app at a time and try to send a message. Something is interfering. Are you restoring through Google or titanium backup? Are you restoring system data if you are using titanium? That can cause problems...
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
you could try Settings > More > Mobile Networks > APN and choose Reset to default (which should be read off your sim). Restart your S3 and test your data connections.
i'm assuming you're not using straight talk or anything but at&t on your phone, correct? mms dont send over wifi

Correct. Ive messed around with the APN settings on previous installs (Reset to Default and Reboot) and the problem is still there... Might have to give it another try after i flash this rom again. Although there was an Occasion where i did that (Reset to Default and Reboot) and it worked but only for a short amount of time then MMS fails again.

[Q] Error code 332/331

Hi. I was using the ParanoidAndroid 3.60 ROM from WoH for the past few months, and was quite happy with it. Now, sending SMS stopped working for no apparent reason. Whenever I try to send one out, I recieve error code: 332 or error code: 331. I'm still able to call people and to recieve SMS, I'm "just" unable to send them.
I also wasn't able to find any working solution on the internet, as all the existing answers didn't help. I've checked my APN-Settings (which were correct), updated to a newer version of the ROM (3.68), yet without any positive results. I'm not even shure if the problem is the ROM itself, or maybe even my phone. Can anybody please help me to fix this problem? Many Thanks in advance!

Might be a problem with your sim. Try inserting it in another phone. See if you can send SMS.

Ok, still wasn't able to send any SMS using another phone, so the SIM could be damaged. Guess I'll visit a shop tomorrow, thanks for your help.
