[Comp Theme]- Dark Symmetry

This is my new theme called Dark Symmetry. It's still a WIP so please post comments and/or suggestions.
Fixed e-mail icon, dialer icon and a few other icons that weren't shown anyway. Added metallic menus.

Man this looks so stylish lol... for some reason reminds me of an audi R8. I cant wait for this! btw is it me or did anyone else notice that theme dev. are teasing the public???

This theme looks awesome. Maybe consider hitting up Stericson so you can change the time to white font... would make the theme flow a little better. I love this theme, as well as Gloss Black. Is this going to be a theme competition entry?

My this theme looks very futuristic homie. Im very impressed.I been lookin for a cool theem to rock wit, this will definately be it. Its very well streamed lines
& it gives the android a sleek sexy display like the Iphone. Great Work.
P.S. I only have one suggestion. I think that it would put this phone over the top. make the dialer buttons match that amazing clock. make it clear glass with some smooth black in the middle or complete glass clear like how you did the regular "FOLDER" on the home screen.

The "email" and "messaging" could use a bit more definition. Maybe add a fine line to the edge of the email icon. and add a tiny bit of lettering to the messaging icon. imho*

Looks good but the launcher button needs more work on the polish of it, everything else looks sweet....

Which one, portrait, landscape or both?

it looks like the edges of both landscape and portrait are a bit diagonal, instead of rounded. thats all i see with the launcher tab. Theme looks great!

Also it looks like theres a little blue dot at the corner of the launch tab. Should be an easy fix. Good looking theme so far. I used your macdroid back when it had the darker look. I look forward to this one.

Sweet looking theme, better than your other one.
My only suggestion would be the box around the time, maybe make it more stylized, drop shadow or maybe make the edges smooth. Make it look sunken in instead of a plain white box. Good job all around.

This theme will be the theme i will launch my new site im working on with BIG Nu. I heard people saying there was not many themes coming out since the comp so i put this mock up together to give an idea of whats coming cupcake or not. There is plenty of work still to be done so try not to ask where is the link and leav some good feed back.

Personally, I'd take the HTC logo off of the notification bar because it may make it difficult to read for someone with a lot of icons up there.
Oh, and I'd leave the app drawer as just a black tab with a green dot rather than a whole droid, but that's just me.

looks good. However I do perfer the Icons to be not square. I just kinda makes them look out of place with the other apps IMO. but great job I will be using this theme once it comes out.

Great looking theme, i like it. Very good theme subject aswell.

I have some suggestions if you don't mind...I think you should change the glossy effect on the entire theme like instead of coming halfway down the square (which is seen too much) have it come down from an angle left top or right top same for the status bar because it makes the status bar look thinner, and speaking of the status bar the left side should be some tint of green like the right side or maybe some grey so that we'd be able to see some icons up there like weatherbug, definitely get rid of that HTC logo because the phone is already branded, also the clock should not be the same logo as Market in my opinion, how bout that grid that the Android is standing on get some green lines where the black is, I think you should circle the 3G like the battery and maybe fill up the circle when it's uploading or downloading and last but not least I think you should change the pull-up tab because the default rectangular one is so tacky and boring maybe change it to the Android it self like Fade To Blue and keep it grey so that when you touch it it turns green but besides that I love the colors especially Matrix Green...that's my fav, well sorry all for such long feedback but I thought I should be honest and I just had a lot to say and besides how else are you gonna perfect your craft if you don't have critics like me...Thanks for your time.

I agree though, a tad less on the gloss, I'm positive those icons with that amount of "Gloss" will be hard to notice, by icon, in sunlight.

I don't know if any of you have been around Sprint Android long enough to remember me, but I was one of the more active themers for the Samsung Moment before I switched phones. I have my Epic Touch coming tomorrow, and I was thinking about remaking one of my most popular themes for the Moment: Minimal Elegance, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in trying it out once its finished. I basically want to know if I should even bother, because it would take a while, I'm very curious though. You can see screenshots from this old theme attached below.

I think white small icons are elegant and the total black backgroud is just exact theme suitable for SA screen.but if the dialer pad is pure black with white color number would be more perfect.

Old Moment owner here...please do. That preview graphic brought back memories...most bad, but nostalgia none-the-less. This phone is light-years beyond the moment....would love to have a theme like that now, especially with no data lockups, lol.

Doesn't it take only two hours to make a full theme like that?

It would take me longer, for one I am very rusty, being out of the game for about a year, and then other complications I'm anticipating:
-going from mdpi to hdpi. Some of the elements that I made from scratch were made for the moment screen, so I would have to redo them, and with .9.pngs, it would be a process making them bigger.
-going from stock 2.2 to 2.3 with Touchwiz, the Samsung framework stuff will probably cause some stuff I haven't had to run into before.
-the same stuff goes for not only the framework-res files but also the themed apks, I like to put out a complete product, so hopefully patience will be key.
As for the comment about the dialer, that dialer was only ported because of the ugly (imo) dialer of stock android 2.1. But yeah, I'll give it my best shot, but I have to wait until I get my phone tomorrow and get rooted and all that jazz. Is there a stock deodexed theme template around here? I did a quick search and couldn't find anything.

I see you made the upgrade too. I look forward to your themes again. Have you looked into theming for CM? Maybe I should finish the Ubuntu theme for the Touch.

Minimalistic is my style. Would love to see this on the Epic Touch

I was playing around today with photoshop and I cam up with a possible idea for a new icon pack I would call Solar Flare (or something )

Great work, but not exactly my case, because that reminds me of the most go launcher themes, that had Icons that looked like this, but there surely will be enough people that think differently
I would suggest though, that you put all your icons into one thread, because that way its easier to keep track of your work, rather than searching for each icon set, but just a suggestion.

Yes, you're right about the one thread thing. I will probably have to do that soon-ish cause I am already getting lost around here
As for the Go launcher thing...you know what, I might just make it into one of those and see how it goes

I think these are pretty nice. I would probably prefer them without the background however, but that's just a matter of personal taste.

Glad you guys like it. I worked a bit on it and I think I got the final version ready. Will work on them during the weekend hopefully...I'm really busy at work and spending the evening with my girlfriend (beats making icons )

Well you just gave me back my donation . OH well.. anyways the next color i plan on doing is a Royal Blue. It'll be dubbed Royal Zenergy. Is there anything specific somebody would like to see? Or changed? Ive been trying to find a better holo background.. but nothing fits as good as the current one to my eyes anyways.

Also i spent a good deal of time last night creating toggles... and they look great on the computer... but i didnt realize the pixel sizes.. which is too small something like 64x64 -_- so they look big here.. but on the phone are small. So i have to redo em

Do you guys think 2 bucks is too pricey? I mean i put quite a bit of work into it with all the inversion coding and image work. I felt 2 bucks was good considering ive seen themes as high as 4 almost 5 bucks before.

I pretty much stay, or atleast always go back to you Uber Jelly theme, so a holo blue theme of Zenergy would probably be my new fav!

the softkeys on this theme are probably the nicest i have seen in a theme. love the two-tone. one thing is maybe a different font on the dialer. it is really hard to read. other than that, this is one of the best ive seen. cant wait to see other colors.
