Update: added new CSC-s from CSC_I9000OXAJM1
Hi just to let you know... i changed it once to try and i lost all my softwares... so don't try to change it for fun if you are not ready to lose your apps and settings.
MTL = mtel - Bulgaria - www.mtel.bg
happens to be your mobile operator
You can understand which one is what by looking at /system/csc/<CSC>/system/csc/customer.xml
Where <CSC> is the corresponding 3-letter sales code.
When i had to chose mine, i was expecting ITA, but instead it showed ITV.
I did a bit of research and it looked like it was the one related to Italy, so i selected ITV and nothing strange happened. APNs were correct for my operator, so i guess my guess was right.

I bought SGS on the same place and have the same code. DBT should stand for GERMANY
updated to JM5 via Odin and now my product code is "SER" and can't change to other...any info????
This thread deserves a pin
Singtel = XSO
Some reported Singtel using SIN.
I agree on making this sticky or, better, adding to the FAQ.
Why is not Italy ITV added in 1st post?
When i do this i get "refused" message, (i got it in dutchs "Geweigerd" ="refused")
To bad there aren't any dutch (Netherlands) CSC's
DBT - Germany
XEU - UK

well some gsm companies order samsung to make a rom for some specific properties.like orange or vodaphone or other brands.generally they are locked phones.if u install another rom u r in trouble or some of them dont let to use 3g ( like in my country) so probably that rom is belong to the ones that u wrote here

Thanks BRSG for your clarification.
There is something I don't understand:
Why did Samsung released this HJ2 (October'08- second release) as WM6.0? the previous known versions were HI1 and HI2 (September'08) already WM6.1....
Also remember that Samsung is launching a markteting campaign spotting the i780 as "BizBee" announcing clearly that this phone includes WM6.1!
I would say that this "HJ2" is the old russian HE1 somehow someone was managed to change the rom id...
i have a french rom, this is XHHC2!
What mean XH ?
nCoder said:

I don't think so.
Simply because the modem via USB is (finally) rock solid with the latest russian phone section installed.
The Modem hangs frequently with all other rom, but the H1, so is not possible that the j2 is a renamed E1
Downloaded the HJ2 ROM! Updated the Phone part with it and used the WM6.1 I1 ROM for the PDA partr update. Working nicely!
Any latest versions of the ROM???

Hi guys i have a problem i have downloaded the zip file, then i opened this programm named Miragev1.8 (1. screenshot below)
then i tried to select the image file downloaded and that message appears (2. screenshot)
then the programm crushed down.
can anyone help me?
thx
Ps: i use windows vista 32 bit with windows device center (upgrade of active sync for mobile devices)
The problem is you are using mirage under vista: it only works on windows xp
Do you maybe know an app of the same type for vista?
Thx
Mirage is the only way you have to flash the i780. Searching on this forum you can find a way to flash under vista but i suggest you to run xp under a virtual machine on vista
Thx i will try to install xp for 2. operating system i have an old valuable license key when i bought this pc 6 years ago

You'll find good cooked WM6.5 ROMs on this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=599652
Samsung won't give it to me, and Its firmware upgrade support site doesn't have it. I did attain a i780PXBHK2_Upgrader_VISTA.exe, but I'm not sure it's Norwegian and I don't have Vista (shrug).
I've tried ironeagle's 6.5 build, but it's slow, a bit buggy, and the keyboard isn't mapped correctly.
Cheers!

Once added, posts will be deleted, so we can keep this clean. Please don't ask questions or anything like that here- make a new thread so this is only posted in if a new code is available
Please post the ProductCode also.You can find it the same way as HIDSWVER.
example: "ProductCode"="GT-I9100HKDNEE"

Had to go to Samsung/Kies/DeviceDB/1 as I didn't seem to have a /7 registry for some reason.
Elisa, Finland
"HIDSWVER" = "I9100XWKE1/I9100OXXKE1/I9100XXKDJ/I9100XWKE1"
"ProductCode" = "GT-I9100LKANEE"
The phone seems unbranded, so I think this is generic then.

you can use the european xxmi1 firmware
or the german firmware but dont flash the csc -only pda and phone
although I dont think both the above contain sweedish language but if you dont flash the csc you should be ok (they contain english german spanish and some others)
if you want sweedish specific firmware download it from sammobile and split it using splitfus2 - links on the firmware thread although I couldnt find any XB firmware so you may have to use XX firmware and just dont flash csc
Im helping one out and he has flashed in Chinese so i think english is way better Thanks for the replay

if its in chinese flash the following if you are in europe http://d-h.st/FhE
include the csc and you will have the option to have english - I think when it boots its in german just click change language at the touch droid to begin screen to change it
Great Work BROS
