Hi guys i have a problem i have downloaded the zip file, then i opened this programm named Miragev1.8 (1. screenshot below)
then i tried to select the image file downloaded and that message appears (2. screenshot)
then the programm crushed down.
can anyone help me?
thx
Ps: i use windows vista 32 bit with windows device center (upgrade of active sync for mobile devices)
The problem is you are using mirage under vista: it only works on windows xp
Do you maybe know an app of the same type for vista?
Thx
Mirage is the only way you have to flash the i780. Searching on this forum you can find a way to flash under vista but i suggest you to run xp under a virtual machine on vista
Thx i will try to install xp for 2. operating system i have an old valuable license key when i bought this pc 6 years ago

I found this same rom in a russion forum.
Automatically translated from russian:
http://translate.google.pt/translat...efox-a&rls=com.ubuntu:en-US:unofficial&hs=LZb
from the list above, I cannot see what PU stands for, so I suppose is a russian version.

well some gsm companies order samsung to make a rom for some specific properties.like orange or vodaphone or other brands.generally they are locked phones.if u install another rom u r in trouble or some of them dont let to use 3g ( like in my country) so probably that rom is belong to the ones that u wrote here

Thanks BRSG for your clarification.
There is something I don't understand:
Why did Samsung released this HJ2 (October'08- second release) as WM6.0? the previous known versions were HI1 and HI2 (September'08) already WM6.1....
Also remember that Samsung is launching a markteting campaign spotting the i780 as "BizBee" announcing clearly that this phone includes WM6.1!
I would say that this "HJ2" is the old russian HE1 somehow someone was managed to change the rom id...
i have a french rom, this is XHHC2!
What mean XH ?

I don't think so.
Simply because the modem via USB is (finally) rock solid with the latest russian phone section installed.
The Modem hangs frequently with all other rom, but the H1, so is not possible that the j2 is a renamed E1
Downloaded the HJ2 ROM! Updated the Phone part with it and used the WM6.1 I1 ROM for the PDA partr update. Working nicely!
Any latest versions of the ROM???

Samsung won't give it to me, and Its firmware upgrade support site doesn't have it. I did attain a i780PXBHK2_Upgrader_VISTA.exe, but I'm not sure it's Norwegian and I don't have Vista (shrug).
I've tried ironeagle's 6.5 build, but it's slow, a bit buggy, and the keyboard isn't mapped correctly.
Cheers!

FIRMWARE TEAM FOR EVER!!!!
Whoa. That's a lot of SBF. Any sign of a Bootloader v1.5, aka 1050 SBF out there?
Aren't these available in the Motorola site?

Only in fastboot recovery.
These SBF's for 3G XOOM include the radio not found in the recovery package.
The HLK75D SBF is the same one on motodev ?????
What current version of RSD lite do you use for this SBF thanks

I know the SBF file for the 4G LTE version of the XOOM is out on the motorola's developer's site, but everything else is image files that flash through fastboot.
Sorry for being so noobie but... how are this files suposed to be flashed? By ClockworkMod Recovery? I've flash stock android 3.1 by ADB commands and tiamat 2.2.2 by cwm... But this files how do they flash?

Nevermind... I answer myself... I've found motorola RSDlite v.5.3.1 flash program... I'm flashing now but it's not working... it returns an error...
What error are you getting?

I would really like this too ;
I've tried flashing the Australian sbf on my us wifi as a last resort cause.my internal.storage is borked but I get the chipset 52 not compatible error and sometimes the ini error although I have used the patch for that.
Error concerning ini file... nevermind... i've flash 3.0.1 with adb and after i've upgraded by OTA to 3.1 and after i've unlocked the bootloader and flashed cwm and after superuser...
The reason because i wanted to flash sbf was that i've not found the original 3.1 android files for mz601 anywhere...

Many thanks! No urgent need for it now - but reassuring to have the fallback..
The "VZW" in the filename has thrown me for a small loop - didn't expect the carrier-free wifi-only to have any association with VZW (VeriZonWireless). Cheers!

you can use the european xxmi1 firmware
or the german firmware but dont flash the csc -only pda and phone
although I dont think both the above contain sweedish language but if you dont flash the csc you should be ok (they contain english german spanish and some others)
if you want sweedish specific firmware download it from sammobile and split it using splitfus2 - links on the firmware thread although I couldnt find any XB firmware so you may have to use XX firmware and just dont flash csc
Im helping one out and he has flashed in Chinese so i think english is way better Thanks for the replay

if its in chinese flash the following if you are in europe http://d-h.st/FhE
include the csc and you will have the option to have english - I think when it boots its in german just click change language at the touch droid to begin screen to change it
Great Work BROS
