Hi guys,
had this on my desire and miss it on the sgs, so does anyone know a way to get a percentage battery icon for the sgs?
thanks
try Battery indicator.. its a free app.. been using it since quite sometime..
I use Gauge Battery Widget.Free from the market. There is a donate version.I think you need it if you want to change the widget colours
From my Galaxy S loonie-phone
i use batterystatus pro. free from market
Think Soulcrash is meaning a battery percentage mod that replaces the stock battery icon in the notification bar.

i doubt whether such an app exists! if it does then even im interested in it! but the battery indicator app that i was suggesting also comes in the status bar on the top left and not as a widget.. so it wont take any screen space!

Totally does not suck, using the C version myself.
Using version B on JM5, with Hackeclair and one click lag fix v1.
Looks good, and no problems so far.

I've downloaded the JP3 C version but there is something terribly wrong with it! Now my Prone resets its interface every time a % of the battery changes! I have to reflash now because there is no way to uninstall it!
This is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been looking for something like this since I bought the phone! Was using battery indicator, but it's not a very clean solution to have 2 battery icons on the bar...now is WAY COOLER!!!!!!
Thanks and a big hug to everyone who contributed to this tweak!
hey.. just noticed something.. my gprs has stopped working after i installed this.. i am JM2 with no other mods.. does anyone have this problem??
Edit: it started working by itself in sometime! so all is well now!
On jp3 version b is working great.

I just found this mod over in the Desire HD forums and it works on our phones to. Its a simple flashable zip that make the notification bar transparent. I take no credit for this at all, all credit goes to gimj01
I have tested it out and it won't work if you have a theme selected in the theme chooser and if you have a flashable theme applied for will just get FC's after you reboot. I would recommend doing a nandroid before flashing.
If your using ADW you need to disable wallpaper hack under system prefrences.
Original thread and downloads can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1031106
Enjoy
Edit: will work with some themes, just tried with androidian and cyanbread

edit: ok I tried it...it works well but only with the stock cm themes....i downloaded themes from the market and it does not work with them ....looks pretty cool though

Reboot on recovery and flash .zip.
Not bad
In general, it's a clean look. Needs improvement as it display a bit weird when you are looking at the drawer. The notification pull down also looks a bit odd as well since color change, text overlap.

Probably won't work with his rom, since I'm sure the framework is considerably different from stock Android 2.3 with Sense 2.1. Let me download his rom and I'll pop in my battery mod into that framework.

Xposed + mod xposed for status bar
Some other mods can put the percentage inside the batt, but the number is too small for me.
Stock rom can also show percentage (in batt options)

I have added the mod, cant find anything that adds the percentage to the battery. Only options I see are hide battery and set circle battery unless I am looking in the wrong place :/
Found it. It's in xposed Sense 6 battery percent. Looks like this.......

Maybe it's called "xposed icons"; I have translation issues. Third line is battery. In battery, second line is about showing percentage. Need reboot.
