[Q]Darkness in camera

Hi guys,
im using official Nightly and camera is darkness..
How can fix it?
i try with many libcamera. and it work but zoom dont work.
helpme to fix it pls
Dark camera is a common problem found in official nightlies but happily it's solution is quite simple.
To solve it, just flash one of these new camera drivers found in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1876628
I use Fix #2 and it works pretty well (zoom works too).

[FIX] Green tint when using flash on some devices with JB SENSE

Hello Everybody .
HTC screwed up a camera software in their official JB release. Some of us (probably different hardware mounted on our devices) have a problem with grint tint when taking pictures with flash enabled. The problem does not occure on any ICS release and on CyanogenMod made by Trip. The problem is described in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35130953&postcount=2
Today I have spoted that it does not occur on Football's Maximus 4.1 ROM which is based on official HTC One X+ release.
After a while I have found a file that is responsible for flash behaviour - libnvmm_camera.so located in /system/lib directory. Replacing this file with the one from One X+ seems to fix the problem (at least for me).
For your convinience I have prepared a CWM Recovery package which can be flashed in a standard way. It should work on any version of any rom based on any HTC SENSE base .

Good job Kuba

Intresting, I remember being on ICS and was using the ViperX Rom and when I did a shot of my cat with the camera, I was suprised to find my cat changing color and becoming invisible.
Is this the same problem as mentioned in the OP?
My camera seems to be fine now.

As I wrote in first post only some One Xes are affected by this. It probably depends on hardware mounted in your device.

I'm not sure if this fix will work for other One Xes without this problem. Maybe someone who does not have this issue will flash that and check what happened?
It's working like Magic ... Thanks a lot my friends .. I'm including this fix in my next update of my ROM with proper credits ofcourse. Hope that's alright with you.

even when i was on stock rom it was the same as the left site
edit : thats a little wierd i see a little green tint if i click on the picture what i uploaded
(but if i look at the picture on my pc it has no green tint at all)
oke and here the picture taken with the lib from here
wich should fix the green tint
still the same as before with the original lib
Working I have CID 032 and maximus 12 without any camera MOD. Only your fix. Thanks a lot. I have a conversation with HTC on CHAT but employer told me I DON'T HELP YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE ROOTED. All answers are I DON'T HELP YOU.. This is SICK. I bought flagship phone very expensive (2700pln = 900usd) and I have green tinted after update. But now after FIX I'm satisfied

It's a bug.
The sollution is to wait patiently for developers to fix it.

Well then that is weird.
Is it a common issue for that ROM? Anytime you see an issue like that it's usually not app related, meaning switching to a different camera app isn't going to fix it.
But it could be kernel related. Are you using a third party kernel or the one that came with the ROM?

Flash another ROM after a full wipe. See if the problem remains. If it does, flash back to full stock using Odin.
If it still persists it's a hardware failure.

Facing the same problem.. havent found any solution as of yet. Figured bestt way for now is to deodex the Rom and disable the Sytem Update alltogether... And then can enable and check for updates once in a while

I know The Customization gets you hooked.. Anyways tried out quite a few... CM11 best... Resurrection gives you much richer UI.. Better Customs..Also Currently on ArchiDroid Have not checked that out yet but its installation was very detailed and comes with quite a lot of quality advanced user apps
The reason am switching back to stock is the richer UI experience and the most imp the quality of cam and call..
Might be different for you but what i noticed is the call quality is not that good in custom rom. I dont know enough to tell if technically thats possible but thats what i noticed.
So Going back to Stock Rom----->Upgrading to new firmware---->Installing CWM recovery----->deodexing the rom----->Rooting the Rom. And Ready to use :silly:
