research research research research and when you think you have a good standing research some more. If I were you I would make sure my computer has a linux operating system (android is linux so it just makes since). check out the googles official android site for some info to teach you and check out some wiki and just experiment.

Help with introduction to modifying android

Well I have pre-ordered an Evo and am jumping ship from my old friend WinMO and am finding it hard to find much info about the workings of android. Everything I read seems as though it is assumed that you know what everything is and what to do with it. I am no noob to the modifying and figuring things out but only having experience with windows os's with zero linux knowledge. I am not asking for in depth explanations, only for better info than what I am finding. All i seem to be able to turn up are basic explanations of terms used and guides to root but little else. Some specifics I would love to find info on is the function of the kernel and recovery images, simply usages of the adp and such and general info on rooting. Again all I turn up is info saying load this recovery and flash this kernel and your rooted blah blah but nothing specific just as to what I'm actually doing by following these instructions. Thanks in advance for any links you guys can provide to help a noob learn. *puts on flame suit just in case*
Im coming off wm 6.5 and Im new with android but I found something that you can read up

Develop their own Rom. who can helb me
I was looking for a rest for my forum, but could not find until now
You could try dsixda's Android Kitchen there is a easy way to build stock based ROM like removing stuff adding them etc. I used to build sometimes it's really easy. But not for someone who wants to build ROM from scratch like AOSP. They have to setup Kitchen manually there are lot of tutorials out there just search.

[Guide] Porting JB AOSP

Ok, I've gotten quite a few PMs about where and how to get started working with Android. I wrote up this guide to help people with porting AOSP ROMs. Be aware, there is no sure fire way to port and you probably will run into bugs and problems. I won't be able to help fix your problems just by someone saying "this or that doesn't work" or "I'm getting a bootloop". Please refrain from posting things like that in this thread. If you have a problem with something please post a link to the thread of the ROM you are trying to port and the base ROM and any other useful information and a logcat. I can give you ideas, however I am not going to do anything for you... it is a lot of trial and error and it's not for everybody. Search, search, search, there is a WEALTH of information on this site, use it... Search before you post, more than likely somebody is having or has had the same problem. That being said here is the guide for anyone interested, there are other guides out there but I wrote this one from my experience.

First you need to learn Java. Plenty of resources for that, try searching. Once you've learned Java, go to Google's Android development site, download the SDK, and work your way through the hundreds of tutorials and code samples.
You can't just pick up a programming language and write a killer app in a week. It takes a looong time, especially if you don't know the basics first, which you clearly don't.
Thanks sir
I know basic of java language and i downloaded the SDK from android developer website...
my problem is i don't know how to use that..and writing java language we import packages and do what ever we want
but in android what is structure to write program and what is initial stage of coding........

Require: Custom ROM development guide for OnePlus 5t

Hello there!
I've found quite a few threads on XDA for generic development. However, I couldn't find any threads for building a custom OnePlus Oxygen ROM from scratch in particular and there seems to be a lot of potential for the same. I'm basically looking to hire someone who can write a guide for the same. If not that, can anyone point me in the right direction and perhaps I might give it a try myself.

I'm not a developer but think this thread should have the tools you need. Ill bet any questions you might have we're already asked and answered. Good luck.
