Don't know what the affiliate stuff is about, but the offer is mostly legit -- Here's a direct link to the right skin: http://www.stealthguards.com/index.php/cellphones/samsung-vibrant-full-body-protection.html
You still need to pay shipping -- $2.85 to MD. What the heck, I ordered one. The mother in law needs a cover for her Vibrant, maybe we'll give it a shot.
Ordered one too. For the heck of it.

Dude, that's still an affiliate link. I don't even know if it's cool to post them here or not, but hidden affiliate links are bad, no matter where you post.
I already edited it out of my quote, do us a favor and clean it up in your post too.
He's funny... edited the link, but still is an affiliate... we're not THAT stupid

Meh, I ordered two for under $5. Unless they scam my card I have nothing to lose. Got an extra incase I jack up putting the first one on and if not I'm sure I can trade it for something later.
I order two myself. figured I would keep a spare on hand and 5 bucks you cant complain. Usually around 15 bucks a piece. These look like they are the same material as the invisishield kind.
Not the same as invisibleshield. Just got mine in the other day for my iPhone4 and you get what you pay for. It's like any other screen protector you get but it's only 3 bucks you loss. Mehh
I personally like it. The feel is nice, it doesn't interfere with the quality of the SAMOLED screen, and it helps level out the front of the phone.
My only problem is I derped up the install and got something undernearth the front in two places.
I did have the issue that they weren't cut all the way through... making a little starter cut with my xacto blade and peeling the outer edges away completely helped. The inner cut-outs (speaker, camera and earpiece) all came out easily. Used some lightly soapy water on my fingers and on the adhesive side and it went right on, slid it into place.
Got mine in the mail today. Worst screen protector I have ever purchased. They were not cut well from the rest of the plastic sheet and were a pain to take off and unlike the person above the little pieces (camera, speaker) were a pain in the ass to cut out. I also did not like the feel at all (very rubbery, not smooth at all), and visually they were a complete catastrophe.
I cant remember what I got for my Moto Droid a few months back, but I'm going to have to look it up because THAT was a fantastic SP and actually felt better than the bare glass.
Anyway, I'm glad it was only 5 bucks cause they went straight to the garbage after 5 mins on my phone. Total garbage.
Not sounding good, hopefully I get a couple that wernt made by the guy that rode the short bus to work that day. We'll see, still waiting.
I dont plan on using the screen protector. I have realook one on now. More of just for the body part. As for the look, you are suppose to wait about 3-5 days and it usually clears up.
yea, i just ordered one a while back and just got it! I was soo not gonna replace my invisible shield with this **** .. I put it on my friends Samsung Moment! We put that bad boy to the test .
All in all . the Protector protected to phone from my friends Alabama Slammer .
Hey JimmyKimChee, could ya possibly post a bigger picture? That last one showing the phone hacked up is too small!

Seriously dude, it's a wet-install screen protector. You have to leave those on the phone for more than 5 minutes for it to dry and seal. It takes 3-5 hours to dry and seal completely, believe me, it would've looked really nice if you did.
The back, on the other hand....
But I think that's more my fault because I got impatient, like you, ripped it off and threw it away. Then I got it out of the trash, cleaned it off, and re-applied it. Looks not so great on the back, but it works perfectly.
I had something like this on my G1 -- looked pretty good in the beginning but the corners quickly started to peel and pick up all sorts of crap. Kept the screen piece on though, it was flawless other than the time I put my GF's G1 in my pocket next to mine, and the little loudspeaker bump put a nice divot in my protector.
But, if this one is as rubbery as my last.. Not going to put it on the Vibrant, other than a worst case (considering I've got 5 TPUs and an SGS in the house and just two Vibrants, I'm not sure why I even ordered these films anyway. Couldn't say no to "almost-free," I guess )

I was at the mall about a week ago and there's those little cell phone accessory kiosks and they had a case i had never seen, something that i had only seen for Evo's and Incredible's and such
I tried it on and it fit like a dream only downfall was that they wanted $25 when i knew they had just gotten them just like all the other rip off Kiosks, from Hong Kong. i tried to bargain her down to $15 i told her i can get it on ebay for like 3-5 bucks (which i lied of course because I'm always on there looking for new ****) and she refused so i walked away mad as hell because that ***** was trying to rip me off damnit
anyways so i went on ebay and i couldn't find anything but i look today and what do i find? the same **** she had a Hybrid (Combination of Hard Plastic and TPU) Case for the Vibrant
Im ordering mine now i dont really have to tell you that it fits great because i already did but THIS THING FITS REALLY REALLY GOOD!! all the cutouts are nice and not hacked

only difference is instead of it having a design or being clear its like a smoked glass
Thanks for the video! I like it... i now have the T-Mobile gel case and i'm getting sick of it, always sticking on my pocket and dirt on it so i am getting it. Thanks once again
neat, but i dont see how this is preferable to a 100% TPU case... the back plastic is going to get scratched up on this, the TPU cases wont.
Spent 10bucks which included shipping. I guess for my first case it couldn't hurt.
Thanks for the heads up.
Ordered. For $10 why not?

I kinda felt the same way about the official Tmo gel case even though I like the way it feels in hand, the whole getting stuck in the pocket is getting old. The other day the phone slipped out of my hand and fell from about 5' luckily it fell on its side and it bounced a couple times, thanks to that spongy case the phone was unharmed.
I too like the look of this skin, but can it provide the same protection?

The 100% TPU case is nice i personally just don't like the plain back, i have 3 TPU cases One of the original clear smoked (with diamond design on the back) an all white one and an all black on and there's something about the plain looking back and the gay diamonds that i don't like. Its true the plastic might get scratched up and worse case scenario might even crack but i really like this design for some reason

yes and less risk of damaging your case on top of that
So do the volume buttons and the power buttons feel good even though they aren't actually poking through? The only problem I have with my case right now is that since they haven't cut holes through for the buttons it requires quite a bit of pressure in order to use them. Not cool.
to be honest with you that's one thing i forgot to check i was loving the fitment so much i didn't even think to check. It really is a pain in the ass to have to hit the power button and the volume rockers so hard but i guess we will all find out at about the same time. Ive sort of gotten used to having to mash it to be honest lol
maybe i should go back to that mall and see if they still have that case and if so "test" fit it again lol
just ordered this as well, I have so many cases for this phone now but this one seems to have a lot more protection than the mesh type cases that I own.

looks pretty good. does it make it any less slippery? i've been wanting a case, and this is the first one i've seen that isn't horribly huge/ugly, but i've been wanting one to make this slippery phone easier to hold.
yes it does but not if you have chicken grease on your fingers
does it completely cover the chrome bezel?
Just a heads up
I was in a local mall in New Hampshire, USA looking at cellphone cases for my vibrant at one of those kiosk and noticed two more booths was an Invisible-shield booth with demonstrations...ect
Long story short i picked up a full body InvisibleSHIELD for $25 and they installed for $5 bucks and did a great job.
many people have complaints with with invisible shield. the main problem is that it gets dirty easily
agreed

It does seem to have a slight sticky feel, I figured its because it takes 24-48 hours to fully cure
Is this how it gets dirty?

Well ill see, if i dont like ill just remove.
Whats a better alternative if i decide to remove?
My invisible shield is clean all around basically... but I didn't know anything about zagg when I got it.
Zagg seems to be getting some bad reviews on this forum. I bought it the day I ordered my Vibrant and installed it the day I received it. Back looks awesome, and it is not nearly as slippery as the back cover alone. Front however.... zagg is slightly narrower than the screen, and it is bugging me. Also, it is far from invisible on the front, but I guess I will live with it rather than having my screen scratched. What really sucks is that the "full body cover" does NOT cover the corners nor the bezel, and we know what happens to these phones if you drop them.
I will have my case soon, as I planned - I put the zagg on so my phone does not get scratched with the particles that get under the case. Once I have the case on, I will feel a bit more comfortable handling the phone.
I had a BSE(bestskinsever.com) on my iPhone screen for 2+ years. I took the back skin off because of the "dirt" issues and because it didn't stay on the rounded edges very well. I just applied a skin to my Vibrant. As far as I know, BSE are identical to Zagg/Invisible Shield, but around 1/3 or 1/2 the cost. Some people don't like them, but it gives me peace of mind to know my screen is more protected.
I brought the T-Mobile case the first day I got my Vibrant. After two months I decided to get the Invisible Shield for the back. The phone itself is big enough already, I dont need any extra bulk feel too it. For the Screen Protector I'm using Realook which is alot better then Clearfreak I had at the beginning.
As someone posted, the Invisible Shield doesnt protect the Chrome or Edges around the phone.
My second day with it. Now tht its fully cured
The back feels great
The screen not to much. Its somewhat finger print resistant but at the same time playing FPS game like nova you fingers dont slide as good on screen and has kind of a rubbery feel.
How does Realook feel is it a harder surface?
Realook is hard and not sticky at all

Yea woke up this morning "day 3" and picked up phone and its not sticky anymore.
Im really liking this.
With the invisibleshield on the back the battery cover feels solid and gives the phone an overall solid feel to it.
Also the battery cover comes off easier now
I might remove screen protector though IDK. Im more worried about the plastic back cover scratching. The screen was more for reducing fingerprints than actual scratching , im mean its gorilla glass and all. I never had any issues with my N1.

For the Screen Protector, get the Realook. It feels and look like nothing is there....
So i took off my front piece i hate it. Left the back piece because i like the way it feels and still protects back from scratches.
Got a realook SP just finished installing and yup its 10 times better than invisible shield SP like others said it doesn't feel really any different than it does without one on
Dang, shoulda bought Realook, it is soooo much cheaper than the one I bought. The brand I got is good (it's not a Zagg brand), and I have no complaints, but I paid 20 bucks a piece for them (I have two Vibrants, one for me and one for the wife )
You can get a 2 pack of these Realook Screen protectors from Amazon.com for 11 bucks shipped.....coulda saved myself 35 bucks
Learn from your mistakes.
I got zagg too. I'm not hating it but definitely would like to save some money...
Yeah, I also got the invisible shield but I just ordered the realook sp a couple days ago for the front.
If you want an awesome screen protector that has the hardness feel of the bare screen then you want this one. It's 3 for 7 bucks and it feels so much better than all those expensive Invisible Sheilds and such. Those leave a crappy feel or funky haze after they dry. This thing is so bad ass I felt I needed to let everyone in on it. I've had for a couple of months now and no scratches. I also put one on my wifes evo. Enough here's the link.
http://www.amazon.com/GTMax-LCD-Scr...WI02/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1293259085&sr=8-2
Edit- Had to order more of these for a replacement phone and found out that the protectors advertised here and sold by Efforcity are the wrong ones. You have to click the part that shows ones that are sold by other companies and you have to get them from Bargain Cell. I just got mine in finally and Bargain Cell is the only company that sells them.
Thanks. I have a Zagg InvisableShield now and I do like it, but this is cheap enough to see if it is worth having. The great thing about Zagg's screen protectors is that they are lifetime warrantied so you only have to buy 1 per device. After that just pay shipping and you get a brand new one.
I've been using MobileXS Screen Guardian Mirrored HTC EVO screen protector for about 2 months now. Feels like glass, very slick and not stick at all.
When the screen is on its really clear and when the screen is off it's almost a perfect mirror. I bought two thinking it would scratch easily so far not a single scratch. Oh... and there washable and reusable. There a little more costly at 25$ a pop, but after two months and no scratches or wear I think its a good deal.

Martin Fields. They cost a fortune but is the absolute best.
I like the one that seidio sells had mines on for about 3 months still looks invisible.
Swyped from Eva my Mynion running Myn's RLS4.95!
I've used an Invisible Shield on the last three phones I've had.
As long as you get it put on properly, they last forever.
I usually shill out the few bucks to have the guy at best buy do it since if they screw it up, they have to put a new one on.
I got the one from the OP yesterday and put it on. I like the feel of it, but it is a fingerprint and finger oil magnet. It also doesn't cover the whole screen. There are small strips on each side longways that are not covered. I liked my Zagg InvisibleShield because it didn't attract this stuff and covered the whole screen. The only thing I didn't like about Invisible is the rubbery feel of it. Good thing they have a lifetime warranty. I got a new one on the way for only the cost of shipping.
There really aren't any instructions for this one, I just received mine today. Do you use any soapy water or anything? I;m going to install it in a steamy bathroom.
I am not familiar with that one. I had one of the SGP protectors and I liked it but it scratched too easily. I use the bodyguardz. It offers the same protection as the invisible shield but I like the feel of it better. They have a dry apply version available now. I have just ordered one of the wrap sol protectors. I will let you know how it compares.
Sent from this here Evo!
I use Reallook. I had one on my vibrant and now on my evo. They are pretty cheap on amazon. It covers the whole face and is unnoticeable. Also reusable, and easy to apply
I actually bought the screen protectors listed by OP.
It was nice because they actually sent me NINE screen protectors, hah. The texture and clarity is identical to the stock glass.
im about done with screen protectors in general. today at work i got a bit of paint over spray on my screen protector "phanton skinz" so i used a bit of alcohol & nail polish removed mixed with warm water to remove it and it totally jacked the protector up. i have this horrid film on it now and im pissed. these things are suppose to be indestructible. so like an ass i ordered one more just now and after that im done with them in general. next time ill but a dry application cheapy.
i wish they made the evo with gorilla glass and i wouldn't even bother.
I use Screenpatronus... good product, good price.

Anyone else try the Zagg dry INVISIBLEshield T-Mobile is selling yet? It works amazing, plus the dry shield feels a lot more like glass under your fingers
lifetime warranty at all the Zagg shops and kiosks plus they'll switch it out with a wet one for free.
I bought the dry one from TMO because all the wet ones at Zagg store are on back order and won't be here for two Weeks, and that's definitely too long with such a beautiful screen.

Same here. I'm always afraid the liquid will destroy whatever it is i'm putting it on.
It wasn't too hard, my screen looks flawless. Cleaned it very well before even attempting to put it on.
Plus a Zagg kiosk will switch it out for five bucks if you mess up, or install it for 10 if you don't think you're up to it.

First thing I bought for mine. I was hesitant because I did not want anything to retract from my Super AMOLED screen experience ) but am overall definitely happy!! Was $15 or $20 at the InvisibleShield kiosk at my local mall; installed on my phone professionally with a life-time warranty included! Adds a great feel to the phone's screen under my fingers now too! Definitely something I would recommend to everyone with this phone!

It wasn't too hard, my screen looks flawless. Cleaned it very well before even attempting to put it on.

Hmm...I might have to find a kiosk somewhere and have them install it. That way it's on them if they mess it up. Do you have any pics of it on your phone?
Its really hard to put them on. I had the same problem with the kiosks here in Minnesota, they were on back order. I went to T Mobile and they had the dry shields. The girl was cool enough to put it on for me. She messed up on the first one and opened another to try. She then messed up again but told me sorry and gave me another free pack. So then I finally brought the shields to the kiosk and had the guy do it for free. Even though it is a dry shield, he still sprayed it down and applied it. Works great! They are really tough to get the bubbles out on the screen side. Good luck....

yeah i suck at putting these on
I've had these on all of my devices so far. The vibrant I'm replying from has ghost armor and so far no complaints. Overtime it will naturally bubble, but so far after a year I have no bubbles on this device. I'd check out Ghost Armor as well since the quality is about the same.
Highly recommend a professional installation as well...

Def worth a try. You can always take it off if you don't like it! Like I said in my earlier post, I was the same as you; wanting nothing to interfere with my visual experience between my eyes and the S-AMOLED screen, and a lot of people agreed with me. This was even the reason for not using one on my G2x and Sensation... however, after vivid use with the G2x and no screen protection (And Gorilla Glass or not...), it has gotten an almost "natural-looking" haze to it that can not even be cleaned off... so I definitely thought much harder about it for the GS II and the guy at the kiosk agreed with me; no question. Now the phone feels much more "tactile" and the screen control much more pronounced and acurate. Cleaning it is a breeze too. Only thing I suggest is to go with a brand that is well-proven. The last thing you want is to buy a shield and have it leave a sticky residue when removed, yellow and/or fade over time or both! This is exactly why I went with Zagg/InvisibleShield (And haven't looked back!!)! Plus, the life-time warranty doesn't hurt either (And the "life-time" warranty lasts onky as long as the company; so pick a reputable one!).
I have used protectors from Bestskinsever.com for about the past year. The quality seems to be on par with Zagg and the price is typically 50% less. On several occasions I have contacted the company regarding installation issues and they have sent me a new skin, at their expense, no questions asked. They don't seem to have the skin yet for TMOs SGII, however, if you email the company they will give you an estimate of when it will be in.
Just my .02ยข - hope it helps.
Just picked one up from T-Mobile store along with the D3O case. The back was easy to apply, the front was a little harder since I messed up. They did a great job on how to apply the protection and I think it's one of the best so far. I will let the screen sit in for a day or so and come back to review the product with pictures
Zagg makes you send the old one back or they claim to charge you retail for the replacement. They ask for billing info.
One tip I'd like to give to everyone... Try to apply screen protectors when you buy the phone. Once you take it out of the box... the screen is pristine since it has a plastic film on it... hit it with air duster, then apply. I used to do it for all my customers and that's the easiest way to do it. Bubbles only show when there is dust. When done properly, I've never seen a bubble form.

I have the dry invisible shield on mine. Its friggin amazing. Not too hard to put on either. My buddy who works at the tmo store did it for me but I watched him do it and it was very simple. Small bubbles go away after 1-2 days. I prefer it over a case for sure, because I'd rather not add anymore size to the phone.
If anyone is worried about messing up, dont be. I had mine put on by a chick at the tmobile store when I purchased the phone. Great job on the back, pretty bad job on the front. Tons of bubbles. However, by day 4 all the bubbles ( 12 or so ) were gone, and even the part where she bent the protector prior had evened out. I love it ! Plus you have time to return it !

I don't think you can return a screen protector... that's like returning a used condom.
My install is now done and dried. Check it out

I really want to pick one of these up since I have heard such good things about them. However, I am curious about how you prevent the liquid from getting into the ear piece when applying the protector. Is there a trick to covering the ear piece?
Yes, I have this on my phone also and its amazing, virtually no orange peel and looks great. Highly recommended!

just man up, don't use toooooo much solution and pat dry...
make sure you take out the battery and DON"T put it back in after as the phone will reboot.
just install and wait over night with cool air blowing over it.
i know it will be tough not to touch your new toy, but without US warranty work, not worth it.

The solution they have dries really quickly, they added some substance it in, so even if the tiniest bit gets in there, you shouldn't worry too much, unless you spill the whole bottle in there lol
EDIT: this is speaking from the person who DRENCHED the screen protector before applying lol

Does it go right to the edges of the screen?
I got one ordered this weekend hopefully arriving soon.
How difficult was the application? I'm not too keen on wet application (Zagg, ugh) but is it pretty much drench, lay it on the screen and shift to center ASAP? Past experience with Zaggs, I've usually had to lay it perfectly on the first try since I wouldn't be able to shift it around afterwards.
FYI, "byublue", as mentioned earlier, takes $3 off, which is slightly better than 20%.

I'm assuming all wet applications should be the same, which means that your experience with zagg will be similar with xo.
You wouldn't be able to shift it around after its applied. However, you can peel it upwards, apply some more liquid, then place it back down
Did that with my skinomi, had no problem with it, should work with all wet screen protectors
Got mine today and applied it tonight. It was my first wet application, and it was WAY easier than the (dry-apply) SGP Crystal I had on my Dinc.
It goes very close to the edge of the screen.
No orange peel
No rainbow effect
As I said before... highly recommended

Any drag or slow down with swiping along the protector?

Not at all its slick
So I've never done a wet install. Basically I get as much of the liquid out as possible and then wait overnight for it to settle?
I don't think people realize that, sure even though your device isn't damaged from the liquid solution that may or may have leaked into the phone. BUT it probably set off the water damage sticker inside voiding your warranty.
That's the biggest fear for most people including myself.
