Anyone else try the Zagg dry INVISIBLEshield T-Mobile is selling yet? It works amazing, plus the dry shield feels a lot more like glass under your fingers
lifetime warranty at all the Zagg shops and kiosks plus they'll switch it out with a wet one for free.
I bought the dry one from TMO because all the wet ones at Zagg store are on back order and won't be here for two Weeks, and that's definitely too long with such a beautiful screen.

It will be the middle easy to install option
You can always pick one up from a TMO store or TMO online http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/AddOns...-423f-8204-aed13bf5ab32&inCart=True&catCode=0

How difficult is it to put on the phone? I suck at putting on screen protectors (always have bubbles or dust).

Same here. I'm always afraid the liquid will destroy whatever it is i'm putting it on.
It wasn't too hard, my screen looks flawless. Cleaned it very well before even attempting to put it on.
Plus a Zagg kiosk will switch it out for five bucks if you mess up, or install it for 10 if you don't think you're up to it.

First thing I bought for mine. I was hesitant because I did not want anything to retract from my Super AMOLED screen experience ) but am overall definitely happy!! Was $15 or $20 at the InvisibleShield kiosk at my local mall; installed on my phone professionally with a life-time warranty included! Adds a great feel to the phone's screen under my fingers now too! Definitely something I would recommend to everyone with this phone!

Hmm...I might have to find a kiosk somewhere and have them install it. That way it's on them if they mess it up. Do you have any pics of it on your phone?
Its really hard to put them on. I had the same problem with the kiosks here in Minnesota, they were on back order. I went to T Mobile and they had the dry shields. The girl was cool enough to put it on for me. She messed up on the first one and opened another to try. She then messed up again but told me sorry and gave me another free pack. So then I finally brought the shields to the kiosk and had the guy do it for free. Even though it is a dry shield, he still sprayed it down and applied it. Works great! They are really tough to get the bubbles out on the screen side. Good luck....

yeah i suck at putting these on
I've had these on all of my devices so far. The vibrant I'm replying from has ghost armor and so far no complaints. Overtime it will naturally bubble, but so far after a year I have no bubbles on this device. I'd check out Ghost Armor as well since the quality is about the same.
Highly recommend a professional installation as well...

Def worth a try. You can always take it off if you don't like it! Like I said in my earlier post, I was the same as you; wanting nothing to interfere with my visual experience between my eyes and the S-AMOLED screen, and a lot of people agreed with me. This was even the reason for not using one on my G2x and Sensation... however, after vivid use with the G2x and no screen protection (And Gorilla Glass or not...), it has gotten an almost "natural-looking" haze to it that can not even be cleaned off... so I definitely thought much harder about it for the GS II and the guy at the kiosk agreed with me; no question. Now the phone feels much more "tactile" and the screen control much more pronounced and acurate. Cleaning it is a breeze too. Only thing I suggest is to go with a brand that is well-proven. The last thing you want is to buy a shield and have it leave a sticky residue when removed, yellow and/or fade over time or both! This is exactly why I went with Zagg/InvisibleShield (And haven't looked back!!)! Plus, the life-time warranty doesn't hurt either (And the "life-time" warranty lasts onky as long as the company; so pick a reputable one!).
I have used protectors from Bestskinsever.com for about the past year. The quality seems to be on par with Zagg and the price is typically 50% less. On several occasions I have contacted the company regarding installation issues and they have sent me a new skin, at their expense, no questions asked. They don't seem to have the skin yet for TMOs SGII, however, if you email the company they will give you an estimate of when it will be in.
Just my .02¢ - hope it helps.
Just picked one up from T-Mobile store along with the D3O case. The back was easy to apply, the front was a little harder since I messed up. They did a great job on how to apply the protection and I think it's one of the best so far. I will let the screen sit in for a day or so and come back to review the product with pictures
Zagg makes you send the old one back or they claim to charge you retail for the replacement. They ask for billing info.
One tip I'd like to give to everyone... Try to apply screen protectors when you buy the phone. Once you take it out of the box... the screen is pristine since it has a plastic film on it... hit it with air duster, then apply. I used to do it for all my customers and that's the easiest way to do it. Bubbles only show when there is dust. When done properly, I've never seen a bubble form.

I have the dry invisible shield on mine. Its friggin amazing. Not too hard to put on either. My buddy who works at the tmo store did it for me but I watched him do it and it was very simple. Small bubbles go away after 1-2 days. I prefer it over a case for sure, because I'd rather not add anymore size to the phone.
If anyone is worried about messing up, dont be. I had mine put on by a chick at the tmobile store when I purchased the phone. Great job on the back, pretty bad job on the front. Tons of bubbles. However, by day 4 all the bubbles ( 12 or so ) were gone, and even the part where she bent the protector prior had evened out. I love it ! Plus you have time to return it !

If you want an awesome screen protector that has the hardness feel of the bare screen then you want this one. It's 3 for 7 bucks and it feels so much better than all those expensive Invisible Sheilds and such. Those leave a crappy feel or funky haze after they dry. This thing is so bad ass I felt I needed to let everyone in on it. I've had for a couple of months now and no scratches. I also put one on my wifes evo. Enough here's the link.
http://www.amazon.com/GTMax-LCD-Scr...WI02/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1293259085&sr=8-2
Edit- Had to order more of these for a replacement phone and found out that the protectors advertised here and sold by Efforcity are the wrong ones. You have to click the part that shows ones that are sold by other companies and you have to get them from Bargain Cell. I just got mine in finally and Bargain Cell is the only company that sells them.
Thanks. I have a Zagg InvisableShield now and I do like it, but this is cheap enough to see if it is worth having. The great thing about Zagg's screen protectors is that they are lifetime warrantied so you only have to buy 1 per device. After that just pay shipping and you get a brand new one.
I've been using MobileXS Screen Guardian Mirrored HTC EVO screen protector for about 2 months now. Feels like glass, very slick and not stick at all.
When the screen is on its really clear and when the screen is off it's almost a perfect mirror. I bought two thinking it would scratch easily so far not a single scratch. Oh... and there washable and reusable. There a little more costly at 25$ a pop, but after two months and no scratches or wear I think its a good deal.

Martin Fields. They cost a fortune but is the absolute best.
I like the one that seidio sells had mines on for about 3 months still looks invisible.
Swyped from Eva my Mynion running Myn's RLS4.95!
I've used an Invisible Shield on the last three phones I've had.
As long as you get it put on properly, they last forever.
I usually shill out the few bucks to have the guy at best buy do it since if they screw it up, they have to put a new one on.
I got the one from the OP yesterday and put it on. I like the feel of it, but it is a fingerprint and finger oil magnet. It also doesn't cover the whole screen. There are small strips on each side longways that are not covered. I liked my Zagg InvisibleShield because it didn't attract this stuff and covered the whole screen. The only thing I didn't like about Invisible is the rubbery feel of it. Good thing they have a lifetime warranty. I got a new one on the way for only the cost of shipping.
There really aren't any instructions for this one, I just received mine today. Do you use any soapy water or anything? I;m going to install it in a steamy bathroom.
I am not familiar with that one. I had one of the SGP protectors and I liked it but it scratched too easily. I use the bodyguardz. It offers the same protection as the invisible shield but I like the feel of it better. They have a dry apply version available now. I have just ordered one of the wrap sol protectors. I will let you know how it compares.
Sent from this here Evo!
I use Reallook. I had one on my vibrant and now on my evo. They are pretty cheap on amazon. It covers the whole face and is unnoticeable. Also reusable, and easy to apply
I actually bought the screen protectors listed by OP.
It was nice because they actually sent me NINE screen protectors, hah. The texture and clarity is identical to the stock glass.
im about done with screen protectors in general. today at work i got a bit of paint over spray on my screen protector "phanton skinz" so i used a bit of alcohol & nail polish removed mixed with warm water to remove it and it totally jacked the protector up. i have this horrid film on it now and im pissed. these things are suppose to be indestructible. so like an ass i ordered one more just now and after that im done with them in general. next time ill but a dry application cheapy.
i wish they made the evo with gorilla glass and i wouldn't even bother.
I use Screenpatronus... good product, good price.
My install is now done and dried. Check it out

The solution they have dries really quickly, they added some substance it in, so even if the tiniest bit gets in there, you shouldn't worry too much, unless you spill the whole bottle in there lol

Does it go right to the edges of the screen?
I got one ordered this weekend hopefully arriving soon.
How difficult was the application? I'm not too keen on wet application (Zagg, ugh) but is it pretty much drench, lay it on the screen and shift to center ASAP? Past experience with Zaggs, I've usually had to lay it perfectly on the first try since I wouldn't be able to shift it around afterwards.
FYI, "byublue", as mentioned earlier, takes $3 off, which is slightly better than 20%.

I'm assuming all wet applications should be the same, which means that your experience with zagg will be similar with xo.
You wouldn't be able to shift it around after its applied. However, you can peel it upwards, apply some more liquid, then place it back down
Did that with my skinomi, had no problem with it, should work with all wet screen protectors
Got mine today and applied it tonight. It was my first wet application, and it was WAY easier than the (dry-apply) SGP Crystal I had on my Dinc.
It goes very close to the edge of the screen.
No orange peel
No rainbow effect
As I said before... highly recommended

So I've never done a wet install. Basically I get as much of the liquid out as possible and then wait overnight for it to settle?
I don't think people realize that, sure even though your device isn't damaged from the liquid solution that may or may have leaked into the phone. BUT it probably set off the water damage sticker inside voiding your warranty.
That's the biggest fear for most people including myself.

How are these compared to xtreme guard? I have some XGs in the mail and can't wait to get something to protect this beautiful phone, just kinda scared of bad protectors.

I was somehow unable to get "Fireworks60" to work but I was able to get "Freedom80" to correctly work. Thanks :good:
ohhh you beat me to it...lol i got the same email and was about to post it up here!!!
but doesnt matter!
I have to say I didn't like the protector I bought for my droid charge (it was horribly miscut) but the fact that they refunded my money before I even sent them back like they told me to was nice. I will now keep it around and at least try it on my S3.

You must've just been unlucky to be honest, my S3 ones fitted perfectly. Although I kinda wish they gave you the sides as well, they are still prone to scratches as well as the screen and back cover of the device!
Other than the black specks, which you must wash off thoroughly if you get any in your order, I can say so far mine has held up and working as well as my Skinomi did..

These scree protectors suck.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Seems like they are using a thinner material. I have already replaced 2 of these screen protectors because they keep lifting up. I have tried 3 different tpu cases and they all push up this screen protector.

I agree! Just do not buy it... I bought one and I regretted
I bought these via the last thread about them a few weeks back. The cut out for the camera etc has to be the worst I have ever seen on a protector, It's not inline with anything and to steal a phrase someone else used in the thread as it explains perfectly looks lIke they where cut out by a blind sIx year old chIld. After a while the back plate protector developed a yellow tinge and looks horrible. The rest I've thrown in the bin. These are cheap in every sense of the word but also expensive for what they are even with a 80% discount. Their basically disposable protectors that will need changing regularily say every week or so if you want to keep your phone looking nice.
Not sure what you guys received, but here is a picture of my phone with the screen protector installed. It is working just as my invisishield, skinomi and shieldguard protectors have.

Yeah I thought everything was fine and dandy also till I put a crystal clear screen protector on and realized these distorted the screen too much.

It's a trade off for multi layered self healing that can take the energy off a screen hit.
If there a difference in distortion or clarity when the screen is on? For what mine does, I am satisfied.

I just gave it a try for about a month and thought it also looked good until I decided to give other protectors a try to compare and the moment I took it off the screen just looked way way better. Then I slapped on a dry screen protector that is virtually invisible. Have it side by side by my friends sgs3 attention and sgs3 tmobile with same images, can't even see it or tell.

I've used many dry protectors, everyone of them has had the same result, sure they look great and clear, but they always start gather soot at the edges and start to peel. Once that event beings it doesn't end there..
Expired July 9th 2012, someone please post a new one quick
finally i got my order yesterday... never been so happy.. this is actually my second order, but now its for ipad, iphone and my s2..
Bought these when they had the 80% off and they are horrible. I put them on 2 phones and promptly took them off and gave away the remaining 3. Kudos to those that like them, but to me they were cloudy and I was clearly able to tell there was a screen protector on.
Today XtremeGuard released a new "HD" screen protector model, now with dry application instead the old wet application
It's a clear model (invisible), ultra anti-scratch, etc. The FAQ says it's not a tempered glass protector, but a "ultra hard PET very similar to glass".
https://www.xtremeguard.com/Articles.asp?ID=261
Someone already tried it? It's a good protector?
It's already avaible to nexus 5 here, just U$6,00 + 90% off if buy 2 or more items using coupon "90off" (+ free shipping to USA)

Awesome, thanks for the heads up! :good:
Just placed my order.. $1.20 shipped for 2 great protectors?? It's crazy not to get.
I have the 'old style' of XtremeGuard on my phone right now, and even though its protecting my device REALLY well, I'm starting not to like the thick 'rubbery feel.' I also have a small scratch on the protector that I accidentally made when rubbing out bubbles when I first got it, and my OCD hates it! lmao.. So i didnt want to buy another one, and i didnt wanna spend $15-$40 on a freakin' protector, so im stoked about this!
Thanks again
Order a HD and a Original ^.^

Just ordered a hd for my Nexus 5 and iPhone 5. $1.20 shipped. I'll report back with a mini review when it arrives.

I have had nothing but a great experience with the regular xtremeguard shield, had it on my Nexus 4 too. One thing I did was to use some car wax on it, make it considerably smoother and easier to clean. Just placed an order on the new HD one.
Ordered a red 16gb N5 yesterday, and just saw this thread. Thanks OP. I got a back protector, new HD front protector and install kit for $1.70 shipped. Nice!
Did anyone get their's? Wonder how thick it is, how it feels vs bare glass, and the clarity.
Boo for $6 shipping to get them to Canada.
I got mine already :3

My guess is that these are just the normal plastic screen protectors that were popular before the wet application ones came out. No different than the ones you can buy at T-Mobile or Verizon stores. I use the regular XtremeGuard screen protectors for every device of mine and I love them. They're cheap and I'm good at installing them. No need to spend $30+ at a Ghost Armor or Invisible Shield kiosk in the mall.

Same thing here... Not very happy with the product. I knew it was bad before i even installed it as the side edges weren't even cut straight.
I received mine too and the top/edge is peeling off and there were dust particles. i contacted them and asked for a replacement.
Thought I'd order one of the dry application ones, it's gonna take a MONTH to arrive!!! now, I know I'm in the UK but come on, in this day and age it shouldn't take a month to send something from the US to the UK...
It feels really nice and smooth. But the top cut outs are terrible. Contacted customer service they said they will replace. We'll see if they fixed their first run issues.

I got the hd ones. Didn't even bother installing. They are generic plastic screen protectors. I'll stick with my non hd wet apply for sure

Same thing happened with me. I thought I was just incompetent.
Still don't know why people continue to go with XtremeGuard. The only thing that gets them sales is their big discounts of their "original" price. The quality is pretty horrible. The wet apply ones are very grippy and make your device feel crap.

maybe its a carrier fault, we cant blame the seller. Here on brazil the national carrier is a huge sh*t. The progress between any country to brazil only took 3~5 days. Then the package goes to the national carrier on the "international scan" and stay there for 40 days until anyone found your package lost in a pile of other millions package and send it to your city carrier

I dont bought this HD screen protector, but looking these pictures it feels really crap
I'm using the "standard" (wet) protector and althrough the wet installation and "grip-feeling", I'm already using for 3 months and it stay 100% perfect as the first day I apply it. No dust, no damage, no scratches, no edges taking off. It's not the 'best' protector in the world, but much more resistant than others brands
I'm glad to see I'm not the only person having bad luck with the HD ones. they already shipped me out 2 replacements.
