To wipe your battery stats you boot into recovery and look for wipe. Wipe battery stats its an option there
4 hours total then dead? That seems very unlikely.
we've been discussing this in this thread.

hope this helps.

When I try to wipe battery stats in recovery it looks like nothing is happening. Whenever I wipe cache or anything like that it says that it was wiped. When I wipe battery stats it doesn't say anything. I'm pretty sure it used to say that the stats were wiped after I did it. I'm using cwm 2.5.0.5. Is this happening to anyone else?
It looks like maybe it does work it just doesn't say anything. Can anyone confirm this?

If you download "SpareParts", you are able to review Battery Usage. You can possibly check there before / after you clear them to review the differences.
Correct me if I'm wrong, here are some things I've been contemplating when flashing new kernels via the awesome app Kernel Manager.
I've found it useful to clear Battery Stats along with Cache and Dalvik Cache; I saw that Kernel Manager allows you to clear both Cache and Dalvik.
What are y'alls opinions on Battery Stats? Does it make sense to clear them out along with Cache and Dalvik when flashing a new kernel or is it just overkill?
Before I flash anything, I always wipe the cache & dalvik and yes, if I flash a kernel, I also wipe the battery stats. I want to make sure I get an accurate gauge of how my battery performs with the kernel I'm using.

Okay, I will install an update to my custom ROM in recovery, so I wiped cache and dalvik and installed the update. I just want to know if it will affect the battery stat/cache by wiping the cache and dalvik?

No it wont affect at all..
Jm!
Not sure, but I think it does affect the battery and wiping the Dalvik cache because when (sorry for my english) I apply it, my battery goes very fast and with time and use the term returns.

it won't affect a thing
The only way to affect battery stats is by doing a battery calibration, using the app or a recovery that supports it, or by flashing an update which replaces the actual "battery file", which I forgot the name...
Hi, when I go in recovery mode, I don't have Wipe Battery stats or Advanced. I have this - http://postimg.org/image/4gx4yrcpb/ ? How can I wipe my battery stats ?

Try a factory reset in Settings > Backup and Reset > Factory reset. It helped me, I got about 5 hours of SoT on my 550 now . If it doen't help, downgrade to LP to see if it still drain like that. In that case, you need a battery replacement
