anyone here who can tell or can perhaps make this work on our galaxy?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=771463
ive got the launcher to work, but no taskbar,
and would be awesome if u could ge the whole gui to work with galaxy, i have no clute how to do this.. or i would try like hell, cuz it looks awesome
heres a vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQil6TsyVUA
anyone who knows? or can helkp make this work properly? with lockscreen and all ?
Unlikely that we can fix it given that it doesn't work for any other devices atm either.
I think the UI is so-so, but the nemo player is quite good. It plays 720p video and flac music files just fine (although on most music files, i get an error msg saying file format not supported, but it works anyway.)
this launcher is really amazing !
if we get it fully working it´d be awesome !
yeah truly awesome. ive got the lucnher and nemo player and desktop settings to work properly, if i only could get the taskbar and notifications and lockscreen to work would be awesome, but yeah, everything would be cool to get to work
wouldnt it be possible?

Morning people!
Im trying out different music players, as I find the TF3D one a bit limited. Im particulay after one that includes visulisation and have opted to try out Pocket Player. Its quite impressive, however the visulisation is very choppy, not smooth at all. I dont even have any other applications running. Just TF3D. Is anyone else experience this who used Pocket Player and if so can anyone give any advise?
Cheers

Badly written been like that on every device I had...
Ok, thanks for confirming that....looks like ill be sticking with the albulm art then!!
Hey
I was wondering if it possible to stream music from sites like last.fm and thesixtyone.com?
Do i have to change some setting? Donwload an app?
Maybe with flash 10.1?
there is a last fm app on the marketplace
But it would be nice to play it from the last.fm site.
ALso with thesixtyone.com. But thanks for the tip. Streaming music with the app right now!

It doesn't work because of the way Linux works. When you launch another app and "minimize" the browser, it puts it in sleep mode. If it wouldn't (and you could keep streaming), it'd drain your battery insanely fast.
first post here
Still one could throw it on the charger/desktop dock. All I want to do is blank the screen. My perfect scenario would be to have the option to stream music in the desktop charger with a blank screen or the clock... to keep away the burn in blues.
Edit: And I would say this was a limitation to linux as I type this from a system running a popular distro that blows anything m$ has away it is more likely a limitation of software possibly to protect us from a hardware limitation. I thought multitasking meant running more than one app at a time?
I installed a 2.2 ROM and checked thesixtyone again and it worked this time. So i guess with flash 10.1 it will work. Didn't check last.fm.
But i'm unable to install the flash 10.1 for 2.1 so i guess i have to wait. Don't want to run the 2.2ROMS as i don't like the UI.
you should search for TuneWiki,
its freaking awesome, it plays your music on your SD card, Searches lyrics with your music, scrobbles your songs on last.FM and if you want it can search the videoclip through youtube aswell
I second Tunewiki, I personally prefer XiiaLive though.
I stream 256kbps mp3 from digitallyimported.com in the background through it. Both have nice UI's but I prefer the Xiia UI personally.
XiiaLive is formerly known as DroidLive btw...
Thanks for the help. Tried both the last.fm player and tunewiki. Allthough it's not really what i'm looking for these are nice apps.
If you look at http://www.thesixtyone.com/ there starts music playing. It's that what I want in my browser on my Desire. With the 2.2 it works.
If anyone knows how I can install Flash 10.1 for 2.1 it would be nice to hear it.
It seems I can't remove the FlashLitePlugin.apk and can't really work with ADB.
I try the apk and it does not work at all
i would also be happy if someone ported this or tell me where to get the info to do it my self
i think we may need touchwiz 3.0 for this to work.
Is anyone working on this? the standard galaxy S music player is sooo much better! I need this! i dont understand why Sprint removed it

The file needs to be adapted for TouchWiz 2.5 (the Epic version of Touchwiz) before it can work on our Epics!
Hopefully with Froyo they will port it over to our epics!
Why anyone is NOT using TuneWiki for their music player, is beyond me. Best music app I've used.

Are you sure we have TW 2.5? Its been reported everywhere we're on 3. They just removed the player.
And I think Tunewiki is ugly. DoubleTwist and even MixZing look way better
hey y'all i see some people have the honeycomb music player working just fine... i have flashed adb push about all the one that i can fine and still no luck.. maybe someone can point me in the right direction to be able to get this player....
PS:Thanks in advanced .....
New Music player that leaked today, works well on my A7

Good find.
Seems like the album view needs multi touch to make it worth it though. Can't zoom in on album covers, makes it impossible for albums that I don't have album art for.

This is one situation where I believe Honeycomb will still be possible on the A7. This player was designed for HC, as it was supposedly taken from the Xoom. The program loads and works just fine, but some features are inoperable. Maybe I'm just the eternal optimist, but one the kernel is released, I'll bet someone can load HC.

Honeycomb or no honeycomb, the issue I mentioned will remain the same as there will still be no multi touch to support zoom in/out in the albums view.
Well, good and bad news.
Good news is that this actually does work correctly on the A7...
Bad news is that there is no multi touch support in the app to make the albums view more readable.
Tested it on my evo, it is what it is I guess.

Its working very good for me too.Is there anyway that the + and - buttons like on the browser could be added for zoom in and out, just a thought.
But hey I like it and it does work correctly like you said,so Im happy with it either way.
Thanks for the pass along.
It has replaced the stock music player. Removed the original one last night after tinkering eith the new one awesome find.
