I was just wondering if anybody knows if there is anything like SpaceMonger (http://www.sixty-five.cc/sm/) available for WinMo.
Even something that can be run from the PC while the phone is connected via ActiveSync....
Or... a way to make the phone appear as a drive letter on the PC.
Try treesize mobile.

As in, like 'share' a folder somehow and just copy/paste directly onto it? I'm sure it must somehow be possible, like it is windows after all and with WiFi. or at least via FTP or something like that? like can do it on the ipod touch i have, so with a windows OS I would have thought it should be pretty easy?
Do a search on here for WIFI Remote Access. I am most certain it will serve your purpose.
Ok - Ive managed to pair the phone with the mac, so I can transfer files.
What I can't do though is browse the phone using the mac, as it says the phone doesn't have the required services.
Any ideas how I can resolve this?
My phone's a T Mob Desire, no rom tweaks or anything like that, and on the mac I have OSX Leopard.
So, what do you think people?
Bluetooth and a Mac
Same problem here. Can't think what the issue is. Anyone any ideas?
Moving from windows mobile base to android, anyway knows that with help of activesync it is possible to use PC internet connection from device.
From what I've searched it is not possible in android, just the opposite is possible, meaning use device internet from PC.
I just ran into this

I was wondering if any kernel is built with this?
Thanks
Hi,
I was wondering if you found any solution for this. It is indeed abit annoying not to have this feature built in in Android.
Thanks, Babak
I used to be able to view and control some of my older phones on my PC through the USB connection, but I haven't been able to find out if this is possible yet with android phones, specifically my new GN2. I know I can get the dock and hook up one of my PC monitors to a switch, and I also know there is a way to connect a bluetooth keyboard/mouse, and then use a HLA adapter to run a monitor. I have also looked at a couple programs that use VPN connections to "host" android devices on websites that you can access with your PC via web browser, but as far as I can tell you are limited to what you can do (web browser, messaging, email).
I'm really looking for a stand alone program that I can open on my PC that, when connected to my GN2 via USB, will duplicate the devices display in a window and allow control of the device with the PCs keyboard and mouse. Does such a program exist? Thanks all.
i have never seen anything like this. What would be the purpose of this?
To control my phone with my workstation peripherals while at work if I want to view a website that is blocked by my works firewall, or simply to respond to a text message without having to turn on my phones screen
I have my One X for like 5 months now. Everything was working just fine and I was able to connect my phone to my MacBook with no problems. I was able to transfer files using HTC Sync Manager as well. However, recently my phone would not connect to any computer. When I connect my phone to the computer it just starts charging, no other notification shows up in the bar. Sync manager would not see the phone as well. I don't know if its the software or my phone. I tried Windows and OSX; I tried different USB cables; Factory Reset did not help; Debugging is on. Its frustrating! It seems like people encounter this problem, but no real solution or answer has been found. Do you guys know something about this?
