Voice dialer hangs if I access it via the jawbone. Works fine if I press and hold the search button. Anyone have any ideas?
S-off, Stock 2.2 with root, busybox, etc.
Thanks!

I've been running Ruby Rom 1.1.1 for a while now just fine. I installed Swype 1.56 and that was great for a while, but then it told me that it expired. Ok no problem. I formatted and reinstalled everything and everything was fine again.
This happnened again, but this time when I reinstalled everything, no matter what keyboard I try, I cannot change away from the original Android keyboard. I hold on the input field, press change input, and select anything other than Android keyboard and nothing happens!
Any clues?
I'm having some major connectivity issues after flashing to Jelly Bean (the one posted by bigxie).
Google Talk doesn't work. The app opens but I (and all my contacts) stay offline even after it says "signing in".
Google Now doesn't work at all by swiping up from home button (I don't see any cards), but I can do searches by pressing mic button in search bar.
Sync isn't working unless I go into my gmail app and press refresh manually.
Can't download apps from Play I get message: Error processing purchase. [DF-BPA-09]
I think it has to do with my wifi and signal bars are grey instead of blue (not connected to google server). I'm not sure what else I can do to get the connection. I can still use internet browsing (on both wifi and HSPA+) and send SMS messages
I was thinking of giving one of the other posted ROMs a try. I just want stock Jelly Bean to work
Currently: "Jellybean 4.1 JRN84D Stock, Rooted, Busybox, Deodexed + New Radio!" from bigxie
Baseband: i9250UGLC1 (I also tried XXLF1)
Bootloader: JRN84D
Kernel: 3.0.31-ge8de0e2
What else can I try or do to get connectivity working?
Did you do a wipe after installing? I haven't had even a remote sign of a problem on my GNEX since flashing Jelly Bean.

Hmm I did my wipe before installing the ROM. I suppose that makes the difference then eh (sorry only 3rd ROM I've ever flashed)?
If I just go into recovery now and do a factory reset I would keep my JB install right (along with radio/root fix)? Then I would just have to reinstall all my apps via titanium backup/restore?
I'll differ answering to someone with more knowledge/experience than myself. But once on any version doing a factory wipe/reset will just erase your data. You'll just get a clean version of Jelly Bean.
Did you flash this one?
Had the same thing. Flashed the JB-radio again, wiped cache and dalvik, reboot and had my blue bars back.
Anybody having problem answering calls via voice command on the latest JB OTA update. It seems to work only when the phone is in mute. This feature was working with the JB leak ROM.
i read that it only works when vibrations is off only. havent tried it myself.
Post OTA update to JB from ICS I encounter the following:
When I use the voice->text when composing an SMS or doing a search in chrome I get the following message:
Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped.
Then the input is stuck as voice.
When I open the blue Google app I get the same error, but at least this time I can switch back to keyboard input.
I've tried the following:
Reboot phone-same issue
Kill the Google Search task, reboot-same issue
Using APP search for Google Search, clear cache, clear defaults, reboot-same issue
Any other suggestions? Maybe it's just me with this issue?
Running Hboot 1.39, stock rom,
Just got a google search update OTA. It provided more functionality than before; when I tap the mic and talk it says it can't hear me and to try again. This is better than before, but still not working. It's the same after rebooting the phone.
Solved,
CWM nandroid restore to stock ROM fixed whatever it was.
I compiled CM10.1 from source and flashed it. Everything works fine except for one problem - the search softkey. It doesn't seem to be detected at all! Even after installing KeyEvent Display from the market, pressing the search key has no effect. I know it's not a hardware problem as it was working just fine before I flashed my own build. Any idea what i'm doing wrong?
