Thinest Vibrant Case - Vibrant Accessories

I'm looking for the thinnest case available for the vibrant. Hell, I wish there was just a backing replacement that was rubberized.
Does anyone else feel like the stock backs are way too slippery? I don't want this beautiful phone to go flying out of my hand, and it seems like you're playing air hockey if you tap it while it's sitting on a table. I love how thin this phone is, and i'd like to keep it that way.
I just got the Body Glove with the little chrome bezel and it's really nice but it makes it almost as think as my old G1. That kinda sucks...

I got this mesh case http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...547263&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_6529wt_911
It's pretty thin, and has solid feel in hand.

The polished or argyle TPU cases.

Damn I just noticed I posted this eight minutes after the "slimmest" case thread. Haha, looks like I'm not the only one.
I'm starting to think I should just wait and see if anyone makes a nicer case. This phone is so sleek and so far these cases just seem to muck it up. I'm returning the body glove, that chrome bezel is garbage, it chipped while I was removing it from my phone just using a quarter to pry it off like I'm supposed to. It also basically doubles the phones thickness.

I recommend this case

i just got this case in the mail today and it is very pocket friendly
i had a red silicone case before and id always have to worm my phone in my pocket
here are some pictures of it
I assume this is a two-piece case (hard to tell from the pics)?
A little thick for my taste, but it look pretty well made.

yes sir it is a two piece snap-on case
I just got it too, I like it better than the Jelly ones that always get stuck in my pocket.
I had similar with my previous phones, and that's a bit too thick for my liking, but this is typical for all 2 piece snap on type.
I like the Body Glove 2 piece design, has a little more flare to it.

I just got this one too and I agree it is much better and easier to pull out of your pocket than a gel or silicone case without adding too much bulk. And yes it is a 2 piece snap on.

I got this case too but got the orange one. I like it. I dont know why people are complaining about the bulk. It really doesnt add that much bulk. I would say with the case, Its about the thickness of a iPhone/Nexus.
this gets my vote too. adds grip but not sticky like the silicone cases. has a snug fit and comes at a very nice price. seems`well made and the joint when you snap on the`two pieces fit very nively with no protruding edges. liking it so far.
I have one of these cases, bad design. Looks and feels cheap. Well I mean it is... so... yea.
It hinders easy access to the notification bar. I know, I know it can be worked around, but **** that, it doesn't need to go near as far as it does down. I have a body glove black case with detachable belt clip / kickstand. It serves its purpose pretty well. I am also heavily anticipating the release of the SGP Ultra Slider.

Love my new case; Incipio "Edge"

Fed Ex just dropped off my new case, "Incipio EDGE"
http://www.myincipio.com/HTC-EVO-4G-Cases-Accessories/Incipio-HTC-EVO-4G-EDGE-Hard-Shell-Case.asp
Sorry no pics, but this case is very slim, and has a nice slick feel, but still a bit rubbery to not slip out of your hand.
Previous cases I had, were the Otterbox Commuter but that was very bulky and thick, then bought the Case-Mate Tough and I really liked that case, very nice feel of rubber great in the hand, and excellent protection from falls, but it too made the EVO too bulky for my tastes. Will just use the "Tough" when going out Mountain Biking or outdoor activities.
So just having this "Edge" case for 5min, so far like the slimness of it, and looks cool. We see how it holds up ?

How stiff is it compared to a Seidio Innocase?
That looks like a pretty good case... I just ordered a Case-Mate Barely There and it should be here next week... I was looking for something much slimmer than my OtterBox Commuter that I have now.. If the Case-Mate doesnt work out I think I'll give this one a shot..
BTW...The site talks about being able to remove the bottom and put it in a dock... where's this Evo dock they're talkin about?

I've got the barely there, it's pretty good but I found something better for a fraction of the price. This thing. It's dirt cheap, almost as thin as the barely there and it protects the front of the phone whereas the barely there does not.
i love the look of this case but the no clip is a bummer for me
So, now have had this Incipio "Edge" for the weekend, and I LOVE it, this case is very slim, looks great, with the matte black finish/color, next to my brother's iPhone4 with his case on, I am just as thin now
Out of all the cases I have tried, the "Edge" is hands down my fav. Here is the list in order the EVO cases I bought;
- Body Glove; picked up the day I bought the EVO last Summer. Case looked bad ass in the package, but sucked balls, very cold and hard feeling next to the face, and cracks. Worst case
- Otterbox Impact; It feels great in the hand, and offered great protection, but was just too thick and bulky for my tastes, and sticky feeling, bad for pockets. Good case, just too big
- Otterbox Commuter; Got as a gift, ncie case, but too slick in the back, the hard plastic finish is too slipery, and again a little bulky for me. Good case, just too slick and thick.
- Case-Mate Tough; This case is very nice, two piece design, offers great protection. My little kids did the testing, and it works, sailing off the counter top onto the hardwood floor lots of times, with zero issues And the back rubber feel of it is soooooo nice in the hand, perfect grip. But again a little thick to be putting in jeans and soon shorts for Summer, will stick out too much, and scare the ladies. But this case is a keeper for riding my Mountain Bike, or going to carnival rides. Great case, keeping this.
- Incipio Edge; This is the slimmest of all cases I have had, and I actually like that a lot. I like thin phones, not bricks, and the other cases while nice, were just way too big, making the EVO feel much larger than it already is. The Edge is slim, nice color, and fits in pockets effortlessly. Great case, keeping this.
I have one just like it but not the same name. On the back of mine its got PT and mine came with a belt clip case as well. Got it at Best Buy.

I like the idea of those cases, great for snowboarding, and mountain biking, but way too bulky for everyday office use, or keeping in pockets in Summer time with light clothes on.
The EVO is a larger phone to begin with, putting a thick pillow around it, makes it feel like a phone book. I just prefer the slim case style for easy pocket-ability. But still use my Case-Mate Tough for Biking
Has anyone posted any pics or vids of the Edge? I'm definitely interested but won't buy it after just looking at Incipio's photoshop jobs.
Thanks.
I'm still looking for some user pics or review videos of the Incipio Edge. The only thing I can find when I google it are the photoshopped pics by Incipio that don't really show what the case looks like on a real phone.
If you own the Edge, would you mind posting some pics here or a vid on youtube?
Does anyone else have any thoughts on this case?
Thanks.
I have it, it's ok. I loved it for a couple days but it started squeaking pretty bad, worse even then the Seidio Innocase Surface. Literally like two days before it started squeaking.

Incipio NGP Semi-Rigid Soft Shell

http://www.myincipio.com/Samsung-Ga...laxy-Nexus-NGP-Semi-Rigid-Soft-Shell-Case.asp
I'm still working on obtaining the phone, so I've been scoping out accessories! I believe this went live today or yesterday, as I've been looking at the Incipio cases for a few days now.
Has anyone had experience with the particular case or maybe the same type on another phone? It looks pretty nice, I tend to prefer the soft shell cases over hard ones.
I found a video of the case on the SGSII, give you a good feel for what it's like! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3QB1I6kmNo Also, here is a video of it on the Nexus, but I don't think it's as good of a demonstration. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Z-zYPBC39E
Would be very interested for pictures of this case with extended battery.
Thanks in advance if someone has them!

Have the case, i do enjoy it just i prefer having my nexus naked for feeling the form factor.
my only issue with it was putting the phone into my pocket, being as i wear George Slacks it seemed to grip onto the pocket while putting it in.
+1 for soft and not a glossy hard feel!
Plus where the hard parts are on the case feels like it will protect it nicely (corner bumpers and back.
My thing is the lip around the screen. Access to the edge is important, especially for the Browser Quick bar and games.
I like this on here, looks very nice, very thin
The NGP case is outstanding. I've had this case on the Evo3D as well as on the Samsung SII and it offers all around protection, a very snug fit (even on the GSM Nexus, the fit is very reasonably tight, and me saying that probably means others will think it's supertight).
Further, it offers perfectly aligned cutouts, matte finish that does not pick up fingerprints or dust and imo the best possible material for cases. Just flexible enough to wrap it around, but rigid when it's on. Plus, it's still not as thick as hybrid cases.
Take this for what's it's worth, I've found my case.
The feather case really does nothing, except for protecting the back of the phone when putting it down. It has a wide empty space at the bottom where when your device falls on it, the phone will just be smashed.

Video Review: Trident Aegis for Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey guys,
Got my hands on the new Aegis series case from Trident, this is a 2 piece hybrid style case that offers great protection. The silicone inner layer features reinforced corners for added drop protection and the plastic spine acts as a mold to keep the case rigid and strong. While it may be a bit bulky, this case offers great protection without becoming an overly large size.
Check out the full review below for more info:
Very good review.
Thanks for the review!
Thanks guys!

good review mate!!
Thanks again - to those who wanted me to review the Kraken AMS, I may still get the case but I'm more concerned with getting a Galaxy Note and the AMS for that device.
Yeah another review of the AMS Kraken case would be awesome. Im more interested in the accessories though. I would love to know a bit more about the car dock attachment. That was my biggest complaint (Other than the 3 pin connection) with the Samsung dock. There was NO room for a case or extra bulk. I want something that will protect my phone REALLY well but still be able to use maps without balancing it on my leg while driving. The Kraken and car dock accessory sounds perfect. Im just a little skeptical about dropping 65 buck on it all.
The case looks great, I'm a little wary of the silicone though.... looks like its extremely covered especially at the bottom, how does it go into pockets? Especially in denim, where my pockets are filled with lint.
The good thing about the otterbox, although the silicone does pick up a pretty significant amount of lint, there is just so little silicone that all you need to do is wipe your finger across the top and its gone.

Goes in fine but you feel it pushing away when you remove it from pockets, nothing serious though. You're right regarding the otterbox though, I love how the silicone is covered up by the plastic.
I've got the case, I really don't like it. The hard plastic goes around 3 sides and feels good. However the bottom side, its just silicon and it flaps about a bit, comes away from the phone whenever I try to hold it or take it out of my pocket.
I'll be looking for a different case.
Previously I had an Otter case for my Galaxy S, and it was really excellent.

This was actually one of the things keeping me from buying this case. Thank god I didn't. I kept the pop case I originally bought and haven't looked back.

This. I completely agree. I've been using the green aegis for about 2 months. I HATE the bottom not being covered by the shell. The silicon gets caught on things. The port cover is terrible too. It will not stay in place anymore and just kinda hangs and flops there.
I love Trident cases but I can't recommend this particular case. I'm thinking of trying the Casemate Pop or Otterbox Commuter.
Reminds me of the, well, it would sound strange if I mentioned that.

Does anyone have the Barely There case?

I read in the other thread, but I've seen lots of other people with barely there cases (different phones) that I really like. So does anyone have one, and if so, how is it?
I have it but don't use it. It's a really nice case, very well built, excellent material, fits perfectly, but it doesn't protect the top and bottom edges of the phone, so if you drop it, you'd better hope it doesn't land there, hence my not using it. Otherwise, it's really my second favorite case to the body glove.
The Body Glove case is really nice. Fits good and has a nice texture to it that is grippable but not "sticky" in the pocket.
I ordered the body glove and ballistic case. When I get them will let every one know
sent from LG OPTIMUS LTE using Tapatalk
I use the Barely There case.. I used to swear against them because my past experiences with them, they were flimsy and cheap, but this one is actually very nice and durable!!
But its just as the name says, barely there. If you want to keep the look of the phone and add a little bit of extra protection *just in case*, than this is good.
If your notorious for dropping your phone a lot, you probably should veer away from this case though. The way the case wraps around the corners but doesnt cover the top or bottom is enough to mostly keep it protected, but dropping it on the top or bottom with the screen side slightly tilted towards the ground is going to damage only the phone and not even touch the case its in.
Update
I found the Body Glove case on ebay for $5, so I bought it and I really like it, except the back is slippery
Haven't used the barely there case but I can speak from experience on the ballistic case and it is definitely protection worth the money. By far the most durable case in my opinion.
