Just got an email from bestskinsever.com that they are now making skins for the captivate. I've used them in the past and they are great. And yes you CAN scratch the screen. I have 2 scratches on mine and I never put my phone in my pocket with anything else and I usually keep it in a pouch in my pocket. I am very protective over my gadgets.

Hey guys. Just got an email from Zagg, 50% off everything* this Monday and Tuesday in honor of Memorial day. It doesn't appear you will need any discount codes for this.
Why the asterisk? Well, they had one on "everything" as well. I believe a few items or categories will be exempt. It does appear that the SGS2 and skins in general will get the 50% discount.
I am unsure if this is just for the USA, or if Zagg even has a separate and distinct EU store. Either way check it out.

I'm not so sure that the back cover protector will be worth getting for the SGS2. Not even sure it will make good contact with the textured back.
I got one for mine a week ago. Its already going back because it looks horrible,doesn't cover the whole screen, looks fugly on the back and has already started to peel off! And before you ask, i have used bestskinsever skins on other devices and they are fine.Looks like my phone has leprosy or something... anyway I don't reccomend them even if they are cheap now...
I ended up cutting my own screen cover from a sheet of the bestskinsever stuff I had spare. Much better.

+1. Put one on wife's desire hd. Perfect fit, no bubbles, but even if it is "self repairing" it is fugly. Don't see the point in preventing scratches if phone looks that bad from day one.

I only see the Zagg Protection for Galaxy S II. WHat skins are you guys talking about?
I think we're using skins as a universal term for the "invisible shields". The full body/screen only skins/shields are there for the SGS2.

Got mine today in the mail - not a bad way to spend $6 bux. The screen protector was worth almost half the price... I've always liked Otter's screen protectors more than most others...

My otterbox has been the greatest purchase for my phone yet.. never has come close to breaking.. i dropped my phone from the 8th floor lmfao... i was smoking on my balcony and my phones still fine.. and its just the commuter

I had originally bought a cheap case that Verizon had offered when I purchased my phone as well as a screen protector. Mostly because I could not find an otterbox defender anywhere. I ended ultimately finding one a couple hours from my house and went and picked them up. I also did not like the screen protector at all so I got a zagg hd and applied it and removed the one that was glued in the otterbox, as well as the glue. I have to say that is much better. There have been many complaints about the zagg install process which I found easy as long as I took my time and didn't rush. I was curious what everyone else's experience was and what they were using to protect their phones if anything

Last I knew Otterbox wasn't shipping Note2 cases until December. Seido already is. GG has been used for years.

You can usually find Otter boxes way cheaper on amazon around 30 $ for defenders and Otter boxes are awesome because of theyre customer support say your case breaks or rips or anything they'll replace it. But 50$ no thanks also yeah sedio has goos cases but hopefully they quit using cheap silicon

otterbox fits have excellent customer care, and they need it. The rubber of their defender case becomes loose.
They replaced it once and I haven't called about the second because I came to the gn2.

Tpu cases are fine unless you plan on throwing your phone across the room. I have always gone with tpu and dropped my phone several times with no damage whatsoever. I guess if I worked construction or something the otterbox would be good, otherwise I feel it is too bulky. $50 vs. 5 to $10.

Go on Amazon.com and buy Xtremeguard Htc One full body. It has the screen protector and back, no sides. I switch phones all the time so it doesn't make sense for me to spend money on expensive brands. Thing about Xtremeguard is that it's cheap and of good quality and their customer service is excellent. Best thing, it's $5.00 and free shipping. You'll always get it before the actual date, some times in 2 days.
