Have you considered to re-flash your device?. This has been addressed so many times and many threads are open to discuss this issue. Please, post in one of these opened threads this will avoid cluttering the forum from same topic. Thanks for understanding.
On that note, this thread will be closed.

Hi, new to the site but already got loads of tips and adice, thanks. Wonder if someone could help me with this one. I have recently purchased an XDA IIs, everything was woking fine untill I tried to update the software from the O2 website, now my device is dead, even with the battery off (for 4 hours now) it says SERIAL at the top of the screen and v2. 02 at the bottom. The device now will not sync with my computer, will not turn on, charge or respond in any way, I have reset using the button along with pressing the on/off button, what else can I do or is it now shagged.

Hi All,
I hope someone could help me in my problem.
I tried to upgrade the rom to my htc p3300, but first I followed the advise here for unlock cid.
After finishing the procedure of unlocking I did reset and..... my htc was blocked. I mean when restarting after reset, only the light screen is opened and that's all. It won't continue in loading the rom.
I tried a lot of things - removed the battery a couple of times, did reset many times, but still my problem stays. It starts and stays to the first light screen and some figures in red on the left top corner.
Please, advise me what to do to solve my problem ?
How long do you leave it after you see the red figures?
I get the red figures on mine and i just leave it for about 5-10 seconds and then it shows the windows mobile screen
i don't know if thats how its supposed to work but its how my artemis came this morning

It stays in that position and do not move forward until I remove the battery.
please, see the image for what I mean.
Try flashing in USB methord and even remove the SD card while doing this. I faced a similar problem and removing the sd card helped me.
And how to do this by USB method. I haven't done this before.
I would be really grateful if you advise me.
Hello,
I hope someone could help me with this because I have been reading this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=329079
for more than 3 hours.
(I started reading at 10pm and now it is 1:42am)
and read through every single post (and even every single word).
However, I am still having a problem with upgrading my IPAQ hx2495b
Basically, when I tried to get into the white screen boot loader mode, the screen faded to white and then nothing happens. I do not see any icon (or any graphical shape appear whatsoever) to indicate I am in the boot loader mode, it was just white.
I pressed the contact+iTask+reset button, which I believe is the correct combination.
And the screen shows no reposnse when I pressed and held the calender button.
I was be able to format PS though.
And when I tried to run the update program, it simply said the program failed to connect to ActiveSync.
My current bootloader version is 1.02.00H and I am running on Windows Vista Service Pack 1 using the Windows Mobile Center.
Could someone please let me know what I should do? Many thanks!
Regards

OK, problem solved, I just have to work with the white screen! Welcome WM6!!!!!
Really
How id you fix it
you pretty much have to just do everything blindly and hope things will work, which turned out to be the case for me. Good luck!
Try Tommy's ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=383173 , it's 6.1 and it's faster (as far as i can tell) than 6.0.

Do a hard reset, it helps in most of the cases

Hi all,
First post here and unfortunately not a nice one. I picked up a new HTC 10 on my way through Dubai the other day and its not a happy phone.
Every now and then when I unlock the device it starts registering touches at the top middle of the screen in a very straight line without any input from me. This drags down the notification tray and starts causing havoc. Basically the phone becomes useless and has mind of it own. Turning the screen on and off a few times returns the phone back to normal again. Then a when I unlock the phone again a few minutes later it starts up again. I have tried wiping and resetting the device but nothing.
I have a screen shot of it happening but cant seem to upload it: "To prevent spam on the XDA forums, ALL new users prevented from posting outside links in their messages"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sounds like you got a messed up phone. The touch panel is super sensitive in the 10.
