Hello, I am going to Hong Kong tomorrow for a short trip + I have a birthday on the 26th of November, so I would really like to buy Galaxy Nexus there I haven't fined any info if it is available there now, but this phone was announced in HK, so probably it has to be release one of the first there? Checked HK expansys, there is just a preorder.... Hope I will find it somewhere in the market, otherwise, will have to buy Motorola Droid RAZR or HTC Titan, but I really liked Galaxy Nexus, it just feels so nice in my hands
My understanding is that its literally only available in the UK right now.
They are not selling in HK yet
Any news on this yet??
If the phone was launched in HK why is not available here... how does that work?
No other Asian country gets the phone now except Japan.
because at that time, there was some other event going on in HK. (Asia D).
they usually announce something in conjunction with another event. (so that since the people that is going to launch is there for that event, (asia D), might as well do it together).
that doesn't mean it will release the phone there just yet. they just announce it.
Expansys HK said they should be getting stock by the end of the week~ but the price is around 6K HKD i believe which is similar if not a bit more expensive than the ones Expansys US sell at right now.
You might find one in the computer centre by the ladies market I forget the name of it now. But they quite often have phones from the UK in there . Would be more expensive though.

I found this to be interesting and wonder how come they don't offer this to customers in the United States? I mean i wouldn't mind a free speaker, would you? I was going to post a link but the site won't let me so i guess this is the next best thing.

because they decided not to...
Because it's an offer from Vodafone UK, and they don't operate in the US! I bought my phone from EE in the UK and I didn't get the offer, because it's not an HTC offer.
ERm i have yet to receive my Boombvass HTC Speaker from Vodafone, but i got my one from Phones4u

And I'm pretty sure we wouldn't mind the HTC Advantage offer over in the UK. But we don't get it - it's US only.
I would rather have the screen replacement than a gimmicky speaker that most people seem to be putting on Ebay as soon as they get it.
Some people eh - never satisfied.
btw - still waiting for mine (Vodafone UK)

I liked it but got the Case Mate Tough which is great. A lot of the U.S. guys on here wanted it but postage was about $15 so wasn't worth it, so just put it on Ebay. Only got £5 for it lol
Yeah bro sorry i forgot to put on my helmet to day, my apologies for being so retarded to think that because you have to go through the HTC site to redeem that it is HTC who is offering. It does make a lot of sense to half to go through HTC website instead of Vodaphone having it in the store and giving to you on the spot when you buy the phone.

Same here, although I did get a free case with mine that other people haven't had.
Also handy to know someone that works in a phone shop as he told me which contract was best - I asked specifically for that contract in store elsewhere and managed to blag a free memory card too
Hi I'm on a weeks vacation in south Korea (land of the Samsung and LG). I was really hoping to be able to buy a 32GB M8 while here but I've seen nothing but Sammy and LG's and my hopes are being dashed by the day.
Does anyone know any HTC sellers in Seoul?

Correct me if I'm wrong.
I remember I saw some news about HTC turned down their store in South Korea due to the low competition.
But you can buy in Taiwan, near Korea =b
Just kidding~
[email protected] One M8
It's sad but only seems that Samsung, LG, a few BlackBerry and of course iPhones are all that you can but is south Korea! And I thought China was a closed market!
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
Sadly you cannot. HTC pulled out of South Korea completely in 2012 after falling to less than 1% of market share.
http://www.theverge.com/2012/7/30/3201879/htc-closing-south-korean-office
In Los Angeles there are dozens of M9's listed for sale, for AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint. Where the heck are these coming from? Are stores selling them early or what?
China says hi. Be careful when purchasing from Craigslist. Since this is a new device I am sure clone versions are out already..

Actually I fiugred out that there was a pre launch party here and those invited got the phone. I hat to have to do it but I'm gonna go buy one today!
They're from the HTC One Launch Event.
Yep they were. And now I have one. Loving it so far.
Well. I've got mine already. Infact, got it on Thursday. Although, I wasn't expecting it to arrive until Tuesday. But I'm not complaining
Thought I would start a thread for who has preordered so we can keep track of when they ship/delivered etc etc
I ordered one this morning says June shipment
Nice one mate.
Pre-ordered my 64GB, Dual-SIM, Translucent Blue one today 10:12am at HTC Club Germany, aka Digital River.
Got the 10% off, as well as a free USB-C-Adapter in my basket, she to the fact that it is no longer included in the box. Well an in addition there was a special offer if the JBL ANC In-Ear as well, in combination with the U12+. Ordered them as well for 72,- EUR instead of the original Club pricing of 119,- EUR.
Sent from my HTC U11 using XDA Labs
FYI... If you order from Amazon in the US, it says the phone will be released on June 7.
Can someone please give me the link to the Amazon preorder? I can't seem to find it, only the HTC site.
Strike that, found it https://www.amazon.com/HTC-U12-Factory-Unlocked-Phone/dp/B07D2Q65ZM?tag=b0c55-20
I have ordered my last 2 phones (SG Note 5 & HTC U11) from *Never MSRP via ebay: https://www.ebay.com/str/nevermsrp
*DECLARATION: I have no links or affiliations with this company
Good experience both times, competitively priced handsets, and prompt delivery received in the UK & Middle East.
Unlikely to get pre-orders, but I will be keeping a keen eye on their site over the next 1-2 months - I think the "ceramic black" option seems more appealing to me this time ("flame red" seems a little pink-ish compared to my U11 "solar red").
Ordered 128 variant just about an hour ago from HTC website
I may pre-order or a wait a little bit to purchase it. However, I am planning on making my toolkit for this device. I'll change my battery on my HTC 10 and retire it. Use it as a backup, when necessary.
Bummer that it doesn't have wireless charging.

Pre-ordered my 64GB translucent blue this morning. It looks good. I hope it's better than the failure of a P20 Pro I just sent back. I haven't been that disappointed in a phone on a long time.
Crappy photo post processing, buggy software.

If I was you I would wait for others to review the device on Verizon...... if the history repeat itself U11 was a real mess last year for them

I'm waiting on some good contract deals here in the UK. Mobiles.co.uk and Carphone Warehouse usually got something cheap. I got my 10 pre-ordered as well for a really good price. I would love to pre-order the 12 direct from HTC but cannot afford £600+ at the moment. So hoping for the contract deals will be out soon.

You're lucky to still have contracts. We have "Leases" now in the US. You can rent the phone or buy it out after 18 months. I've been with my carrier for 17 years. I'll be just buying my phones elsewhere instead of the store. They offer very little, if any, promotions.

htc U12+ blue
Order my htc U12+blue 128 this morning.
Will be using it on the TMobile network.
My unlocked htc U11 worked great on it.
Not anticipating any problems with the 12.
Information I got from HTC: Flame Red isn't meant for the pre-order phase, but will be up in Stores (Club and official) as soon as deliveries of pre-orders start on June 18th.
